The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1896: Alucard, the new leader

Chapter 1896: Alucard, the new leader

The techniques stored inside the Scarlet Pyramid instantly filled the hearts of the cultivators with awe and excitement, particularly Alucard and the rest of the Prima Deities. Each of them vividly remembered the incredible Archdeity-level techniques Divine Calamity Heaven had placed inside the original pyramid, which had always been far beyond their reach. Now, however, Cain was offering these legendary methods freely, and without hesitation, they eagerly dove into the pyramid’s vast, sacred archives.

Indeed, there were even Archdeity-level cultivation techniques within the pyramid. However, those high-level techniques belonged exclusively to the Essence Evolution Path. While extraordinary in their own right, their potency was only a little stronger than peak Prima Deity-level, and were not even close to the supreme Abyssal Singularity Scripture that Cain himself practiced.

Thanks to Cain’s meticulous preparations and automation using the [A.I. Chip Module], thousands upon thousands of glowing spheres containing cultivation resources and heavenly treasures swiftly emerged from the Scarlet Pyramid, flying gracefully toward the warriors of the Scarlet Path.

Auramyth and the other five Prima Deities of the Endlesslight Continent stood off to the side, watching enviously from a distance. Even from afar, they could clearly hear Cain’s generous words, and envy ignited within them as they witnessed everyone else receiving items of majestic power. This envy surged to even greater heights when they noticed that even Terent—the newest member of the Scarlet Path—was gifted incredible treasures. The elderly Prima Deity held a vibrant fruit overflowing with life energy, alongside a powerful cultivation technique perfectly attuned to his unique battle style.

Terent had only just joined Cain’s forces, yet his strength demanded respect and reward, prompting Cain to grant him a fair number of Ouroboros Points. Nobody objected; after all, the old man would soon be fighting at their side, and the stronger he became, the better their overall chances in the approaching war.

Terent glanced around, warmth filling his aged heart as he saw genuine happiness in everyone’s eyes. There was no trace of envy or bitterness among these new comrades—only shared joy as they collectively grew stronger. It was a complete transformation from the ruthless, backstabbing, and selfish world he had previously known. Without him even realizing it, a faint scarlet glow gradually began flickering within the depths of his eyes, signifying the beginning of a fundamental shift within him.

Cain noticed this subtle change immediately and smiled approvingly. Without wasting a moment, he raised a single finger, channeling streams of powerful psychic and spiritual energy toward Terent. The elderly warrior was still mesmerized by the treasures in his hands when suddenly he felt Cain’s power gently reach into his Soul Dimension, planting a potent seed filled with vitality and strength. Immediately, excitement surged through Terent’s heart, making him feel alive in ways he hadn’t experienced in centuries.

Terent’s gaze turned toward Cain, eyes wide and filled with awe and gratitude. He had barely joined the Scarlet Path, yet he had already received far more benefit and respect than his former organization had provided him over his entire life. Such overwhelming generosity left him almost speechless.

Cain merely nodded warmly to Terent before shifting his gaze across the rest of his warriors. They too wore wide, eager smiles, captivated by the countless treasures and resources they had just acquired. Cain allowed them a moment to acclimate and regain their composure, knowing the importance of controlling their excitement.

Once their initial thrill had somewhat settled, Cain spoke firmly but kindly.

"You will all rest for one week. Use this precious time to thoroughly assimilate your new treasures and fully consume your cultivation resources. Afterward, you will march directly toward the Shadowcradle Continent."

Instantly, scarlet flames of excitement and anticipation flared within their eyes. Everyone was eager to prove themselves, showcase their strength, and uphold the Scarlet Path’s prestige. They looked forward to growing stronger from the blood of the wicked and earning more Ouroboros Points through their valiant efforts.

Cain nodded approvingly upon seeing their enthusiasm, then turned toward the Prima Deities, addressing Alucard directly.

"Alucard," Cain asked calmly but seriously, "Do you feel confident enough to guide the army and face Nullavir, defeating her if necessary?"

Alucard felt momentarily surprised. Normally, the one who led the armies was the Sky Sovereign, the strongest among them and the one who had always possessed the Scarlet King’s complete trust. However, Alucard swiftly brushed aside this surprise, his eyes sharpening with fierce resolve as he vividly recalled Nullavir.

Nullavir, the formidable woman from the Legio Eldritch Race, was even stronger than Auramyth—only slightly weaker than the elite Triumvirate of Divine Calamity Heaven. Had it been before, Alucard would never have dared express confidence in such a battle. Yet now, empowered by the Scarlet Star, his newly acquired treasures, and his superior techniques, Alucard’s gaze brimmed with confidence and unwavering determination.

"My Lord," Alucard declared firmly, "I am fully confident in defeating her. And if necessary, I will kill her myself."

Cain smiled genuinely, pleased by Alucard’s assurance. Of course, Cain had already run numerous simulations regarding their potential battle. In nine out of ten scenarios, Alucard emerged victorious. Thus, Cain’s faith in him was absolute.

"Then you shall lead the army," Cain decreed decisively.

Next, Cain turned his attention toward the Sky Sovereign, addressing him clearly.

"You must remain here in the Everlife Continent. I need you to oversee and complete the continent-wide formation. Minxet and the Chief Counselors have already established the broader aspects of the formation, but your specialized capabilities are required for its most intricate components."

As Cain’s words rang out, clarity immediately appeared in the minds of everyone present. The Sky Sovereign’s battle prowess was so extraordinary that many often forgot his other legendary skill—that he was a Peak Prima Deity Rune Master, capable of crafting formations of incredible complexity.

Without hesitation, the Sky Sovereign nodded solemnly, clearly understanding the monumental importance and profound complexity of completing a formation powerful enough to encompass an entire continent.

Cain smiled again, reassured by their readiness, a sense of success rising in his heart as he saw the growth and determination of the people by his side.
