Chapter 1925: Capture five Primarch Deities
Chapter 1925: Capture five Primarch Deities
Cain smiled warmly at Ao and gestured gently, signaling the elderly figure to return to his duties. Once Ao vanished, Cain turned his gaze outward, gathering his thoughts. After a brief pause, he sent a silent command, and shortly thereafter, ten powerful figures manifested within the sacred cultivation grounds.
These ten individuals were none other than the elite Scarlet Path Primarch Deities: the Sky Sovereign, Alucard, Pation, Lancer, Karter, Lucrezia, Gabriel, and Zero Mint. Joining their ranks now were two additional members—one was a young man with striking red hair and golden eyes, embodying the pure lineage of a Godslayer Human. The other possessed pure white hair and sharp, pointed ears, a clear fusion between human and Atrox Immortus races.
They were Rylanor and Magnus.
Thanks to the abundant life and soul essence they had absorbed from the Primarch Deity they killed during the fierce war, both Rylanor and Magnus’ Scarlet Leviathans had successfully broken through the limits of the Peak Sovereign Rank.
Their Scarlet Leviathans had evolved fully, allowing them to form their own Scarlet Stars within the Scarlet Throne, and through that power, they reached Mind and Body as One.
Of course, Cain had not been in a position to personally open the Scarlet Throne during his recovery, but anyone possessing a Scarlet Star could independently open small portals into that crimson realm. This allowed Rylanor, Magnus, and Lucrezia to guide their Scarlet Leviathans inside, finalizing their ascension.
Cain felt a swell of immense pride as he observed his sons. Achieving Mind and Body as One at such an early age—even younger than Cain himself had been when he reached that milestone—was remarkable. Admittedly, their Scarlet Leviathans had played a significant role in nurturing their Alter-Egos, and Cain’s influence had provided crucial clarity in shaping their paths. Nevertheless, their achievement was extraordinary.
Though the moment was worthy of celebration, Cain knew that time waited for no one. The looming threat posed by the Lords of Dark Sky left no room for complacency. Gathering his thoughts, Cain’s expression grew serious as he finally addressed his gathered champions with a tone sharp and somber.
"I will not delve into detail, but we face imminent danger," he declared solemnly.
Initially, the Primarch Deities had arrived with bright smiles, encouraged by the powerful and vibrant aura radiating from Cain, clearly indicating he had returned to peak condition. They were fully aware of the severity of his wounds, injuries that would have taken others millions of years to heal, yet he had recovered in less than a year. However, their smiles vanished instantly upon hearing Cain’s warning.
The Scarlet King’s power was enough to easily suppress Middle Archdeities. For Cain to speak of any threat implied an adversary of terrifying, unprecedented might. Yet none asked for specifics. Their absolute trust in Cain required no further explanation; they merely awaited his command.
Seeing the unwavering resolve in his warriors, Cain nodded appreciatively. Truthfully, even he possessed limited information about the enemy, and sharing what little he knew could sow unnecessary doubt. All they needed was awareness of the looming threat, preparing their spirits for the inevitable confrontation.
"Your mission is straightforward," Cain continued, eyes sharp and commanding. "You will lead our armies into the domains formerly controlled by the World Breaker and the Lord of the Last Step. Although their Primarch Deities have already fallen, several Lord-Tier organizations still reside within their territories. You will conquer and assimilate them into the Scarlet Path."
An intense killing intent filled the eyes of everyone present upon hearing this directive. Expanding into new continents and spreading the might of the Scarlet Path was a familiar task they had previously undertaken in the Shadowcradle and Endlesslight Continents. If anything, they welcomed this mission eagerly, fully aware that their Scarlet Stars and the Path of Conquest would empower them further with every victory achieved.
Cain smiled approvingly, seeing that his intentions required no further elaboration. Yet, there remained another crucial detail to address.
"During your conquest, you must capture alive five Primarch Deities marked for extermination," Cain instructed firmly.
For a moment, confusion flickered in the warriors’ eyes before clarity dawned, and confident smiles spread across their faces. They immediately understood Cain’s deeper intention for those five death-row prisoners, and they were very happy with their purpose.
"If there are no further questions, I shall proceed to heal those among you who sustained severe injuries. Afterward, you must depart immediately," Cain concluded decisively.
Although most of the gathered warriors had healed sufficiently by absorbing their enemies’ life and soul essences, a few, such as the Sky Sovereign and Cain’s two sons, had endured significant internal damage. They had sacrificed considerable amounts of life force, soul power, and Ego Wave to defeat powerful adversaries. Fortunately, their injuries posed no difficulty for Cain.
Just as Cain prepared to begin their healing, the Sky Sovereign took a decisive step forward, his eyes blazing fiercely with crimson fire and a chilling resolve.
"My King, how shall we handle the Omega Heavens of the World Breaker and the Lord of the Last Step?" he asked, his voice resonating with cold determination.
Upon hearing this question, the eyes of all Primarch Deities sharpened menacingly. They had battled fiercely, risking their lives to defeat these formidable enemies, only to learn that opportunistic outsiders had dared to plunder the riches of the fallen Omega Heavens while the Scarlet Path warriors recovered from their exertions. Such blatant disrespect could not go unpunished.
However, instead of mirroring their fury, Cain responded with a calm, knowing smile.
"There is no need for anger," he reassured them with an unexpected serenity. "Those opportunists merely did exactly what I intended for them to do."
A brief moment of confusion passed through the assembled warriors, as they were confused. Why would Cain wish for those people to steal what rightly belongs to them, resources that could allow the rise of more Prime Deities and enhance the power of the Scarlet Kingdom?
However, after a few seconds, the oldest of them, the Sky Sovereign, showed a smile.
