The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2405: Hades

Chapter 2405: Hades

Using the Omen of the Blood Sun, his genetic expertise, and the knowledge he had harvested from all those he had killed, Cain was able to guide the matrix of his new body. From the very beginning, he chose speed as its core attribute, improving it at every foundational level.

The Flow had already granted him the ability to move through the universe using his Primordial Essence alone. If he advanced further, that power might eventually extend to his physical body as well.

That possibility could be the key to finally unifying his three bodies, allowing Cain to take a transcendental step forward in both cultivation and potential, rising beyond the boundaries of the First Order Neo-Demon Tier.

"First things first," Cain murmured. "Grow strong enough to return home."

Determination and focus surged within the soul of the Scarlet King as he returned to his work.

Of course, guiding the advancement of his future body and nurturing the Ancestor Drop inside the fourth cocoon were not the only things Cain was doing.

The Scarlet King continued sending his oceanic creatures beyond the borders of the Ocean of the Blood Sun to hunt and collect more beings. As soon as Satan recovered from his wounds, he began leading the forces of the Blood Sun into increasingly dangerous territories—regions where far stronger creatures had made their homes.

The thrill and sense of success within Cain’s soul grew steadily as Alpha-Omega Overgod corpses began to fall into the blood ocean.

These battles were far from easy. Satan was forced to retreat and heal between each encounter, but the amount of life force and energy harvested from those corpses was immense.

Not only did it accelerate the growth of the other two cocoons, but it also enriched the energy reserves of the Ocean of the Blood Sun itself. As a result, the growth of the Ancestor Drop and the forming body became significantly faster—without sacrificing potential.

Four months passed like this.

Cain was surprised by how quiet everything remained. No Blutlinie from the Kalous Kingdom had come to attack despite the death of a member of the Royal Family.

"The war may be keeping them too busy," Cain thought, "or they might be gathering a massive force to destroy me once and for all."

He narrowed his eyes.

"I can only hope it’s the first."

As Cain analyzed the situation, his attention suddenly shifted toward the cocoons. The second cocoon began to tremble.

Its surface had turned obsidian-black due to the nature of the energy and vitality it had absorbed, which had clearly affected the life force within. Cain immediately directed as much energy as possible into it. The cocoon shook violently, cracks spreading across its surface, until it finally shattered.

What emerged was an imposing humanoid entity nearly fifteen meters tall, with sharp, dinosaur features. His entire body radiated overwhelming power and might. The moment light appeared in his eyes, he roared with all his strength, generating a massive tornado within the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

His aura flared violently, resonating with the shattered cocoon. In the next second, the fragments of the cocoon broke apart completely and flashed toward him, transforming into armor that fused seamlessly with his body. His strength surged once more as he shot into the sky.

He stood like a fallen god reborn.

A towering armored figure hovered above the blood ocean, massive black wings spreading wide behind him. His body looked as if it were forged from cosmic stone and steel. A crown of jagged spikes rose from his head, framing burning red eyes that radiated cold intelligence and menace. Bladed limbs and heavy armor plates gave him the silhouette of a living war machine.

Despite his immense bulk, his posture was deliberate and controlled, as if every movement would be devastatingly precise. He embodied destruction and dominion—a silent monarch of battle poised to descend.

Cain gazed at the new creation, surprise flickering across his face.

Unlike Satan, who had devoured his cocoon, this entity had resonated with it and transformed it into armor.

"The Power of Chaos and the Flow are embedded in his soul," Cain observed calmly. "That allows for unique abilities."

The new creation glanced around, completely ignoring the smaller oceanic creatures as if they were beneath notice. However, the moment his gaze landed on Satan, his eyes sharpened instantly. Metallic claws extended from his hands, and a burning desire for battle and destruction surged through every iota of his existence.

Satan did not back down.

His massive body ignited with terrifying might, heat radiating outward until the very air began to burn.

Before a battle could erupt, an imposing voice echoed across the Ocean of the Blood Sun—a voice that reached directly into the souls of both entities.

"Listen to my words!"

Instantly, the god of death and destruction turned toward the blood ocean and adopted a kneeling stance in the sky. Though he had only just been born, loyalty to the Ocean of the Blood Sun was already etched deep into his soul.

"I am your origin," Cain declared. "Your Creator. Your life was forged to serve as my weapon, and I will raise your power to the zenith of this universe."

Such words could have inspired confusion or resistance.

Instead, what they brought to the entity’s heart was pure thrill and excitement.

"W-wea...pon..."

He was more than happy to be one.

"I give you the name Hades," Cain continued.

Hades rose in the next second. His eyes glowed with a burning desire to kill and destroy, the sole purpose and goal of his existence. Yet almost immediately, that frenzy froze—condensing into a terrifying focus that would put even the greatest warriors to shame.

A moment later, Satan turned in the same direction.

The auras of the two sharpened as they stood side by side, ready to kill and destroy.

The reason for their behavior was simple.

A Royal Blutlinie was approaching.

She was a woman, and her power was far greater than Kameron’s.
