The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2424: Fire and temporal energy

Chapter 2424: Fire and temporal energy

Eonar’s eyes widened as he witnessed the power unleashed by the metallic cubes. He was certain of one thing—the Kalous Kingdom alone could never have forged weapons of that caliber.

"A gift from the Dark Blood Kingdom?" he thought grimly.

Given the background of the Kalous Kingdom’s Crown Prince, it was the only explanation that made sense.

Still, Eonar did not allow himself even a moment of distraction. His floating fortress had suffered catastrophic damage, vast sections reduced to molten wreckage, and was seconds away from falling into the blood ocean.

However, it remained operational. Without hesitation, he redirected the fortress’s main cannons, changing the targets from the Royal Blutlinie of the Kalous Kingdom toward the massive cubes in the sky.

Just as the fortress began to sink toward the Ocean of the Blood Sun under the residual force of the attack, it fired.

Blinding pillars of energy tore through the sky, striking the two black metallic cubes with overwhelming force. The runic formations covering their surfaces shattered one after another, and the constructs were blasted far into the distance, tumbling end over end before disappearing beyond the battlefield.

The final battle of this war had barely begun, and already both sides had neutralized treasures capable of killing Alpha–Omega Overgods.

This made one thing clear.

This would not be a battle of attrition.

There would be no drawn-out stalemate, no cautious probing.

It would be a brutal, merciless clash in which both sides unleashed everything they had from the very first moment.

Eonar and Lortar locked eyes across the battlefield.

Without a single word, they vanished.

Their movements were so fast that even space struggled to keep up. When their fists finally collided, the resulting explosion of fire and temporal energy tore through the heavens, warping space-time itself. Shockwaves rippled outward, pulverizing clouds and distorting the battlefield below.

Cain’s eyes sharpened.

He pushed the Power of Chaos and the Flow to their limits, piercing through layers of reality to analyze the abilities, strengths, and flaws of the two kings. Every fragment of information was etched into his mind.

Around the two kings, the rest of the Royal Blutlinie surged into battle.

The sky exploded into color as countless unique abilities were unleashed. Flames, lightning, shadows, blood, metal, and void collided in spectacular displays of destruction.

Morningstar, Hades, and Satan fought together, forming a flawless triangular formation as they faced a single opponent.

Three against one appeared like a waste of resources, yet no one in the Aztorus Kingdom questioned it.

After all, their enemy was a Late Alpha–Omega Overgod.

His name was Javis, and he was the leader of the mercenary Royal Blutlinie contracted by the Kalous King.

His physical power was terrifying, but what truly made him dangerous was his Ancestor Gift—absolute dominion over shadows. He wielded them as weapons, forming ropes, blades, spears, and barriers at will. Worse still, his shadows could pierce even Morningstar’s reinforced flesh.

Yet the three Royal Guards did not retreat.

Their teamwork was flawless, honed through countless battles. Energy and vitality surged through their bodies, dramatically enhancing their strength, speed, and reaction time.

Morningstar led the charge.

He was the strongest.

And the fastest.

His form blurred as he tore through shadow spears, closing the distance in an instant. He slashed with his massive blade, aiming straight for Javis’s neck.

But at the last moment, countless strands of shadow manifested, wrapping around the blade and stopping it mere centimeters from its target.

Javis’s face paled.

The raw power behind that strike was horrifying.

Still, he forced a wide grin.

"Something like you can never—"

The Royal Blutlinie never finished the sentence.

A ferocious kick slammed into his jaw, launching him into the sky like a meteor.

"Dammit!" Javis roared internally, his senses reeling.

Before he could recover, Hades and Satan appeared beside him.

One unleashed a roaring torrent of black flames.

The other hurled a colossal sphere of condensed energy.

"BOOOOOOM!"

The explosion illuminated the highest sky.

For a brief moment, it seemed decisive.

Then two enormous shadow hands burst from the inferno, slamming into Hades and Satan’s chests with overwhelming force. Blood sprayed through the air as the two were sent crashing backward.

As the energy dispersed, a massive shadow cocoon came into view.

Inside it, Javis breathed heavily.

Cracks covered the cocoon’s surface.

His strongest defensive technique had barely held.

"That it blocked their attack... is enough," he reassured himself, but before he could take a second to breathe, it happened.

"CRACK!"

The Royal Blutlinie’s eyes widened in horror.

A staff shattered the cocoon from above.

Morningstar descended like a god of war, his smile cold and merciless. He poured even more power into the staff, smashing it into Javis’s collarbone. The sound of bones breaking echoed across the battlefield as Javis was blasted away once more.

Other Royal Blutlinie could not help but glance toward the trio—especially Morningstar.

The Royal Guard was monstrous.

And he was achieving all of this without even using external energy enhancement.

Nor was he the only one drawing attention.

Mirena was displaying power far beyond what the Aztorus Kingdom remembered. Her physical strength was overwhelming, and the rate at which she burned energy was terrifying—yet it never seemed to diminish.

It did not take long for the Kalous Kingdom’s forces to realize the truth.

The Ocean of the Blood Sun was channeling its power directly into her.

Rage filled their hearts.

But among the Royal Blutlinie of the Aztorus Kingdom, something else emerged.

Greed.

A menacing light crossed their eyes.

Silent messages were sent into the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

Requests.

In the next instant, the ocean answered.

Streams of crimson energy surged into their bodies, granting them overwhelming advantages against their opponents.

The Scarlet King showed nothing but goodwill, appearing eager to support the forces of the Aztorus Kingdom.

But deep within his soul, a thrill surged—cold and intoxicating.

Every new connection.

Every soul link.

Every thread of dependence.

All of it brought him closer to his ultimate goal.
