Chapter 2548: Eternum Sun
Chapter 2548: Eternum Sun
"Ancestor Doman!"
The moment those words left the Scarlet King’s lips, the entire Domain of Emptiness began to tremble. A wave of overwhelming power surged outward from his heart, halting the advance of the Alpha Omega Overgods who had been rushing toward him.
The Royal Blutlinie below the Late Alpha Omega Overgod Rank froze instantly in place, their bodies locked mid-motion. Those stronger fared little better, their movements slowing to a crawl, as if they were struggling through an endless sea of mercury.
Only one figure resisted.
The Dark Blood King.
Empowered by his own Ancestor Domain, he forced his way forward, though even he could feel the crushing pressure building around him. His eyes widened in terror as his instincts screamed in warning, urging him to stop whatever was about to unfold.
"DIE!" The Dark King roared, pushing his strength to the limit as he used space-time to drive his body forward at a shocking speed, his hand aimed directly at Cain’s chest, intent on destroying his heart in a single strike.
"Eternum Sun."
The Dark Blood King was less than a heartbeat away from landing his blow when Cain spoke those two words.
In that instant, everything changed.
A new Ancestor Domain erupted into existence, completely overriding Emptiness Unbound.
Cain dropped briefly to one knee, his body trembling under the immense strain. His eyes flickered as a crushing exhaustion swept through him, threatening to overwhelm his consciousness.
It had been a dangerous gamble.
By allowing himself to be trapped within an enemy domain and pushing his power beyond its limits, the Scarlet King had finally grasped the principles behind Null Eternum and domain creation.
Despite being only a Late Alpha Omega Overgod, he had awakened his own Ancestor Domain. Yet even with a Perfect Ancestor Drop, a body at the Peak Alpha Omega Overgod Rank, and a Sacred Treasure elevating his vitality to the Fourth Realm, the energy cost was catastrophic.
Still, the result spoke for itself.
After several seconds, Cain steadied his breathing and raised his gaze to observe his surroundings.
The oppressive darkness vanished, replaced by something far more terrifying.
In its place hung a massive gray sun at the center of the domain, radiating a cold, oppressive presence. From its surface extended dark, vein-like tendrils that stretched across the sky, giving the entire space a fractured, almost organic appearance. The capital, once engulfed by Emptiness Unbound, now lay entirely within this new domain, its boundaries expanding even further than those of the Dark Blood King’s.
Everything had stopped.
Fragments of rock and debris floated motionless in the air, as if time itself had been frozen. Millions of life forms—warriors, citizens, even powerful entities—were locked in place, their bodies turned gray under the eerie light of the Eternum Sun. The sheer scale of the domain was staggering. It was not merely a battlefield—it was a suspended world, stripped of motion and life.
Even energy itself had been halted.
Cain glanced downward and saw the Dark Blood King’s hand, frozen just a centimeter from his chest. The swirling essence of Emptiness surrounding it had also stopped, trapped in a state of absolute stillness. The man’s entire body had turned gray, yet a flicker of awareness still remained in his eyes.
"Are you still there?" Cain asked, a faint smile appearing on his face as he leaned closer.
"It seems your Ancestor Drop allows your mind to retain some mental functions. I am not sure whether that is fortunate or unfortunate. The disconnect between your mind and body must be unbearable. You may even feel as though each second lasts for a hundred years."
As he spoke, even Cain felt a slight chill at the thought.
"Ancestor Domains are truly terrifying."
His expression shifted slightly as he sensed a change in the environment. The temperature was dropping rapidly, so much so that even Alpha Omega Overgod would feel their blood slow down.
"Heat is generated by the movement of particles," he murmured. "With all motion halted, it is only natural for heat to vanish. This will also affect chemical reactions within the body."
He paused briefly, considering the implications.
"Even if I release the domain, anyone below the Archdeity Rank will die instantly. Their bodies and souls will remain frozen beyond recovery."
There was no concern in his voice. This outcome had always been acceptable to him; after all, he never intended to leave anyone alive.
The only thing that mattered right now was deepening his understanding of the power he now wielded.
Soon, the situation grew even more extreme.
Buildings began to crumble into nothingness. Bodies started to disintegrate. Even Archdeities were not spared. At first, the process seemed slow, but it quickly accelerated, unraveling existence itself.
Cain observed carefully before arriving at a conclusion.
"When particles are forced into a state of absolute stillness, atomic structures collapse. Matter itself ceases to hold together. This is the ultimate expression of Quietus Force."
A spark of excitement ignited in his eyes as he clenched his fists.
"The absolute end of all things."
Yet he did not allow that excitement to cloud his judgment.
Raising his hand, Cain summoned countless scarlet threads that spread outward in every direction. Through the combined power of Karma and Chaos, he connected himself to the countless dying beings within the domain. One by one, he began harvesting their Ancestor Drops and souls.
Under normal circumstances, such a task would have been impossible. If a single Prima Deity had resisted, it would provoke a fierce backlash. But within this domain, resistance was meaningless. They could not move, think, or even react.
Their existence was already ending.
Streams of energy, blood, and soul essence gathered above Cain’s hand, forming a massive, sky-blue sphere streaked with crimson. Millions of lives were condensed into that single mass, pulsating with unimaginable power.
Below, the empty husks of their former bodies disintegrated completely, the matter that once composed them collapsing into nothingness.
With a casual motion, Cain stored everything within a spatial treasure.
Only then did he turn his attention back to the Dark Blood King.
