The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2630: Let’s fight!

Chapter 2630: Let’s fight!

Nito’s eyes were filled with determination and killing intent.

He had been entrusted by Adam with the mission of conquering the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, a responsibility he considered more sacred than his own life. It could be said that the sole purpose of his existence was to see this invasion through to the very end.

He could not stop.

The Curse Eaters had to destroy the Scarlet King and shatter the army of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. Only then would the people of the Tenth Empyrean World have a chance to truly flourish and transform into a complete race with billions of members, spreading across every corner of the stars.

The other Curse Eaters following behind Nito shared the same conviction.

As their minds unified around a single murderous purpose, they began drawing upon the power of the Empyrean World around them. Vast streams of energy surged through the heavens, condensing into a massive crimson wave forged from raw power and endless killing intent.

The wave alone was enough to make the entire continent below tremble violently.

Mountains collapsed.

Oceans churned.

The sky itself darkened beneath the pressure.

Then the gargantuan tide of power surged forward toward the army of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance with overwhelming might, carrying enough force to crush the bodies of ordinary Archdeities and even wound Alpha Omega Overgods.

And that was not all.

The laws of the conquered Empyrean World had already begun suppressing Cain and his forces. Crushing pressure descended upon them from every direction, as though countless black holes were pulling at their flesh, blood, and souls.

Their power weakened.

Their movements slowed.

Even breathing became difficult.

Yet despite the overwhelming suppression and the monstrous crimson wave rushing toward them, the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance did not retreat a single step.

There was no fear in their eyes.

No hesitation.

They remained firm, their hearts filled with absolute trust in the man standing before them.

Cain’s eyes were as sharp as blades as he stared at the approaching Curse Eaters.

He could feel their strength and knew the battle ahead would be a bloody one. However, he also knew something they did not.

The suppression of the Empyrean World would not matter.

Taking a deep breath, Cain slowly clenched his hands.

The next instant, the ground beneath him began to glow.

A radiant light erupted from below, so immense and overwhelming that it flooded the heavens themselves. The entire battlefield was consumed in brilliance, blinding everyone present.

Even Nito and the other Curse Eaters were forced to halt their advance.

For a brief moment, nothing could be seen.

Only endless light remained.

Then, as their vision slowly recovered, the sight before them left every single Curse Eater speechless.

The earth split apart.

Massive cracks spread across the battlefield as the radiant light beneath Cain erupted with even greater intensity. Endless streams of energy surged upward from the depths of the Empyrean World while vast torrents of power descended from the heavens themselves.

It was as if the entire world was being drained.

The land trembled violently.

The sky roared.

Then something colossal began to rise.

At first, only enormous black walls emerged from beneath the earth, each one so vast that they resembled mountain ranges rather than man-made structures. Ancient runes covered every inch of their surface, glowing with terrifying power as formation after formation awakened.

The walls continued rising higher and higher until they towered above the battlefield like divine barriers separating heaven and earth.

And they did not rise alone.

Gigantic towers soon followed.

Countless palaces emerged from below the land.

Majestic bridges, colossal temples, and endless citadels rose into existence one after another, forming a gargantuan city whose sheer scale eclipsed entire continents.

The amount of energy required to sustain such a structure was unimaginable.

The city devoured the power of the world with insatiable hunger.

Streams of life force and origin energy flowed from the earth and sky into the enormous formations engraved throughout the stronghold. Millions upon millions of runes lit up simultaneously, causing the entire city to radiate ancient and overwhelming might.

The faces of the Curse Eaters slowly changed.

Even Nito’s expression darkened.

Because this was not merely a fortress.

It was a war machine.

The formations covering the walls rapidly connected with one another, channeling the power of the surrounding world into massive weapons mounted atop the citadels. Gigantic cannons forged from black crystal emerged from hidden chambers while colossal ballistae capable of piercing worlds locked onto the invading army.

The pressure they radiated caused even the Curse Eaters to hesitate.

And then came the guardians.

Majestic mythic beasts manifested atop the walls.

Azure dragons coiled around towering spires.

White tigers prowled along the battlements.

Vermilion birds spread flaming wings across the sky.

Black tortoises radiating ancient power stood immovable at the gates.

Every single one was formed from the city’s formations, yet the might they radiated rivaled true Alpha Omega Overgods.

Still, none of that was the true shock.

Because as the largest structure at the center of the city finally rose into existence—a colossal dark citadel resembling the heart of the realm itself—the sky suddenly trembled.

Then came a roar.

"ROOOOOOAAAARRRR!"

The heavens shattered.

A massive Ouroboros manifested above the city, its endless serpentine body coiling around the entire stronghold. One half radiated vibrant emerald life force while the other emanated pitch-black death energy capable of extinguishing souls.

The terrifying pressure of life and death flooded the battlefield.

The eyes of the Curse Eaters widened in disbelief.

Many of the Curse Eaters had been warriors who fought in the Great War and had that experience during the First Era, so they were aware of the great organization that existed during that time.

"The Cult of Ouroboros..."

Shock spread through the forces of the Tenth Empyrean World as they could hardly believe that the Scarlet King had managed to summon the citadel of one of the strongest forces of the First Era.

From his journey into the hidden dimension of the Cult of Ouroboros, the Realm Heart had been one of the greatest treasures Cain obtained. And now, he had transformed that treasure into an unshakable stronghold within enemy territory itself.

Yet the greatest horror had only just begun.

The laws surrounding the city began to twist.

The very fabric of reality distorted around the fortress as the Realm Heart asserted its authority. The suppression of the conquered Empyrean World rapidly weakened before being completely neutralized within the domain of the city.

The Curse Eaters could no longer suppress the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

And for the first time since the battle began—

Unease appeared in Nito’s eyes.

The wave of energy and killing intent continued surging forward, carrying enough power to devastate continents and annihilate armies. Yet the moment it collided with the dark walls of the fortress, the attack shattered into countless fragments of crimson light.

Not a single crack appeared on the walls.

Not a single formation flickered.

The fortress endured the impact without suffering any damage at all, fully displaying the terrifying resilience of the stronghold forged from the Realm Heart of the Cult of Ouroboros.

Silence spread among the Curse Eaters floating in the sky.

Their expressions darkened as they stared at the colossal city before them. Many instinctively turned toward Nito, waiting for their leader to decide their next move.

Their greatest advantage had been completely neutralized.

The suppression of the Empyrean World no longer affected the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance within the domain of the fortress. Worse still, if the Curse Eaters wanted to attack now, they would have to face the countless formations, divine weapons, and mythic beasts protecting the city.

Nito took a deep breath as he rapidly analyzed every possibility.

The situation had become extremely complicated.

However, amidst the chaos, he noticed one important detail.

A silver light flashed through his eyes.

"The NeoPrimarch is gone."

As soon as those words left Nito’s mouth, the atmosphere among the Curse Eaters immediately changed.

Their eyes lit up.

Their battle intent surged once more.

More than half of the Curse Eaters present had clashed against Noah in one way or another during the war, and every single one of them understood just how terrifying the man truly was.

Noah was the embodiment of versatility and overwhelming power.

No matter what strategy they used, he always found a way to counter it and emerge victorious. Over time, he had become something akin to an unsurpassable wall standing before the Tenth Empyrean World.

But if he was truly gone...

Then the pressure crushing their hearts lessened immensely.

Their morale rapidly recovered.

In the distance, Cain’s eyes narrowed sharply.

Even from atop the fortress, he could hear every word and sense every fluctuation in emotion among the enemy forces. The fact that Nito had been able to stabilize the Curse Eaters with only a few sentences was impressive.

More importantly, Cain could feel their wills unifying once more as they resumed their advance.

It was clear now.

They intended to fight.

Yet instead of concern, a wide smile slowly spread across the Scarlet King’s face.

"Let’s fight!"
