Chapter 424: Chapter 425 : Belial, The king of the fallen angels
Chapter 424: Chapter 425 : Belial, The king of the fallen angels
In a far away land a battlefield stretched endlessly beneath a dark sky.
The ground was soaked in blood.
White-winged bodies lay scattered everywhere, their armor broken, their feathers stained crimson. Some lay face down in the mud, while others stared blankly toward the sky that they had once protected.
They were angels.
Warriors of heaven.
Protectors of divine will.
And they had been slaughtered.
Around the battlefield stood an army of Fallen Angels.
Thousands of dark wings spread across the horizon like a storm cloud.
Their black armor reflected the faint light of burning ruins nearby, and their voices rose together in a triumphant chant.
Victory.
They roared with savage pride.
Their boots crushed the fallen bodies of angels beneath them as they celebrated the destruction of heaven’s soldiers.
Then—
A single figure stepped forward.
The moment he moved, the air itself seemed to tremble.
Power radiated from him like an invisible storm.
It felt as if the world itself bowed before his presence.
The wind distorted.
The ground cracked faintly beneath his steps.
Even the air screamed under the weight of the energy surrounding him.
This was no ordinary Fallen Angel.
This was Belial.
The Supreme Commander of the Fallen.
His appearance alone commanded respect and fear.
Six massive black wings extended from his back, each feather shimmering with dark energy. His long black hair flowed down his shoulders like liquid shadow, and his eyes were pitch black, as if the abyss itself stared back from within them.
Though his face appeared to belong to a man in his sixties, there was nothing weak about him.
His presence alone could crush armies.
Belial slowly raised his hand.
Immediately—
The entire battlefield fell silent.
Thousands of Fallen Angels stopped chanting at once.
Not a single voice spoke.
Not a single wing moved.
Absolute silence.
Belial’s deep voice echoed across the battlefield.
“This is only the beginning.”
His black eyes swept across the fallen angels before him.
“I will not stop… until heaven itself bows before me.”
A cold smile slowly appeared on his face.
“Let it be known.”
“Angels and their gods will not hold power for much longer.”
For a moment there was silence.
Then the army erupted.
Cheers thundered across the battlefield.
“My Lord Belial!”
“Glory to the Fallen!”
“Heaven will fall!”
Dark wings flapped as the soldiers roared in devotion.
Then four figures stepped forward from the crowd.
Unlike the others, these Fallen Angels had four wings instead of two.
Their presence was heavier.
Stronger.
They were Belial’s generals.
Two men.
Two women.
Each radiated overwhelming power.
They knelt beside him in perfect synchronization.
“My Lord,” one of the men said, bowing deeply. “Command us, and we will destroy their reamaining forces this instant no matter who stands before us.”
Another spoke with fierce devotion. “Our lives belong to you. We will gladly sacrifice them if it leads to your victory.”
One of the women lowered her head respectfully. “Your will is our purpose.”
The final general added quietly, “There is nothing in existence that we would not do for you.”
Belial’s smile widened slightly as he listened to their unwavering loyalty.
But then—
Something strange happened.
The space around him suddenly began to distort.
The air twisted as if reality itself were being pulled apart.
The four generals instantly reacted.
Their heads snapped upward.
In the next moment their auras exploded outward.
A crushing pressure spread across the battlefield like an invisible mountain descending upon everything.
Even the cheering army fell silent again.
Everyone stared upward.
Then—
Six figures suddenly appeared in the distorted space.
They materialized without warning.
As if they had simply stepped out of another reality.
The first one looked like a man with a relaxed, almost careless expression. He carried a long spear over his shoulder and stood with a lazy posture, as if the battlefield meant nothing to him.
Beside him stood a woman wearing glasses.
At first glance she looked ordinary.
But the aura surrounding her was terrifying.
Dense.
Heavy.
Like a silent storm.
The third figure looked like a child.
A boy no older than twelve.
But small horns and dragon-like scales marked his face.
Despite his young appearance, the power radiating from him was monstrous.
Far beyond what a normal being could contain.
The fourth was a tall man carrying a sword.
His hand rested calmly on the hilt, ready to draw at any moment.
His eyes were sharp and alert, scanning the battlefield with quiet hostility.
The fifth figure was a woman from the demon race.
Two curved horns rose from her head, and she appeared to be in her twenties.
She carried a bow that radiated a chilling aura.
The weapon looked ancient.
Deadly.
As if every arrow fired from it had claimed countless lives.
And finally—
Standing at the center of them all—
Was a woman.
Her entire body was hidden beneath a long cloak.
A deep hood covered her head completely, hiding her face in shadow.
She said nothing.
She did not move.
Yet somehow—
Her presence alone felt like the calm before a disaster.
The distorted space slowly stabilized as the six figures finished materializing on the battlefield.
The fallen angel army watched cautiously.
The four-winged generals stood alert beside Belial, their auras still radiating across the battlefield like invisible pressure.
One of the generals stepped forward slightly, his eyes narrowing in annoyance.
“So it’s you people again,” he said coldly. “Ruining the mood just like always.”
The man holding the spear let out a quiet laugh.
He lazily rested the weapon against his shoulder and tilted his head slightly.
“If my mistress hadn’t told me to hold back,” he replied casually, “I would have already rearranged your face by now. So don’t you dare raise your voice in front of her.”
The fallen angel general’s face instantly turned red with fury.
“You insolent wretch!”
His aura exploded outward.
Dark energy erupted from his body like a violent storm, crashing toward the spearman with crushing force. The pressure was strong enough to bend the ground beneath their feet.
The attack was meant to force him to kneel.
But the man with the spear did not move.
Not even an inch.
He stood there completely relaxed.
As if the crushing aura did not exist.
The fallen general’s eyes widened in disbelief.
‘Impossible…’
‘He’s completely unaffected…’
For a moment it looked as if the two were about to clash.
But then—
A calm voice interrupted.
“Arif. Stop.”
The hooded woman had spoken.
At the same moment, Belial’s deep voice echoed across the battlefield.
“Mariz. Stop this instant.”
The two men immediately froze.
Without hesitation, both bowed toward their respective leaders and stepped back.
The tension slowly faded.
Then Belial and the hooded woman stepped forward toward each other.
The battlefield became quiet again.
Belial studied her carefully before speaking.
“It’s a shame to meet the famous Witch of wisdom and Queen of the Void in a place like this.”
The hooded woman gave a faint smile beneath the shadow of her hood.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you as well… King of the Fallen.”
Belial suddenly burst into laughter.
The sound echoed across the silent battlefield.
But his eyes had sharpened.
“I take it,” he said slowly, “you have finally found what I asked for.”
The hooded woman nodded slightly.
“You didn’t need to worry.”
Her voice carried quiet confidence.
“The power of the Fallen God will soon belong to you.”
She paused briefly before continuing.
“And if everything goes well… you may even ascend and become a true god.”
For a brief moment, a slow smile appeared on Belial’s face.
He quickly hid it.
The hooded woman tilted her head slightly.
“I assume you will keep your end of the deal.”
Belial nodded calmly.
“Don’t worry.”
“As you requested, I have already prepared an army for you. You may use them however you wish.”
Then his voice turned colder.
“But only if you keep your end of the deal.”
A dangerous aura suddenly erupted from Belial’s body.
The ground trembled slightly beneath the pressure.
His black eyes stared directly at the hooded woman.
“Because if you fail…”
His voice dropped dangerously low.
“Your death will not b easy.”
The hooded woman smiled calmly.
“There is no need for threats, King of the Fallen.”
Her voice remained steady.
“After this is finished, you will never forget what I have done for you.”
She added softly,
“Even after you ascend.”
Belial nodded slowly.
“Good.”
“I have faith in you.”
Suddenly—
The sound of hurried footsteps echoed across the battlefield.
A fallen angel soldier came running toward them, clearly panicked.
He dropped to one knee before Belial.
“My king!”
Belial turned his head slowly.
His voice was calm.
But terrifying.
“This had better be important.”
He stared down at the soldier.
“Because if it isn’t… your head will be rolling on the ground.”
The soldier swallowed nervously.
His voice trembled as he spoke.
“My king…A problem has occurred.”
Belial’s eyes narrowed.
“What problem?”
The soldier took a deep breath before finally saying it.
“Princess Kaelith…She has escaped.”
For a moment—
The battlefield fell completely silent.
Then Belial’s face twisted with rage.
His eyes burned with unrestrained fury.
