Chapter 2062 Share The Dana Mage
Chapter 2062 Share The Dana Mage
Karl headed for the city, which was quickly returning to its regularly scheduled routine. It shouldn't take him long to find the Trade Elder, as today was a dungeon run day, and Karl knew that the man would likely be back home in Yizimon in an hour or so.
He had intended to just send some of the Lycan Elders and Rae to do the mining work today, but now Karl wondered if Rae wanted to stay here instead.
[ No, I will go to the dungeon. I want to know if I can make more and better spiders now that we have the skills from our Dana Mage. That should double my number of spiders, right? Or even triple them.
That's a good start. ]
Karl chuckled at the spider's eager tone.
Rae was still a little bitter that there were spells that she couldn't use, such as the [Guard Pet] skill that allowed Karl to make an entire army of spiders. But that spell had too many restrictions. Even if Karl put it on an item, she still couldn't use it, as she was neither a Pet Sitter nor an Ancient.
However, she had been working on her affinities to new things, and she had some hope that she could make the [Blade of Divine Wrath] work soon.
The Spider Goddess wasn't sufficiently impressed with her yet, and hadn't named her an Avatar, but in Rae's mind it was only a matter of time until she gained enough favour from her Goddess.
And then she could do some real damage.
Dana laughed as she sensed the spider's mental complaints.
[ Do you want me to come with you? We can race. ]
That sounded pretty good to Rae, and they could always drop one of the Lycans to make space for Dana. The only thing that the two of them lacked was proper healing, but they had so much self regeneration and their walls of golem guardians that any healer would do.
So, they could use one of the Druids from the Blackwoods Pack. Or two. One each would make it much more interesting. One of them might have to run to try to keep up with Rae, but that was part of the fun, and if they picked one of the female druids, Rae could just equip her like she used to equip Lotus.
They really did have to feed that little priestess a potion soon, so she would have a fully formed Immortal Spirit.
Once that was accomplished, she could definitely equip her pocket healer again.
Dana laughed at Rae's musing, as the spider had apparently forgotten that Lotus was now a Beast Master, and could actually fight on her own, with her two highly capable, if tiny, beasts.
She didn't need to be strapped to a giant spider for safety and ease of transport.
Rae scoffed at that notion.
Lotus, keeping up with Rae's movement speed? If she didn't strap Lotus to her, how would she ever keep up? And asking Tifa to do the same? The little bear had stumpy legs, no way was she keeping up with the pace of the hunt for the boss monsters.
Dana couldn't argue with that. Tifa was many things, but a high-speed traveller was not one of them.
At least the little bear had learned the basics of [Behemoth] from Thor now. So, she could make herself bigger, to fight effectively. That made her look a bit less comical in battle, and conveniently gave Tena a place to land when the Spirit Bear wanted to be big.
"The shop is in your hands. Is there anything that you need before I go play in the dungeon?" Rae asked Meisje as she prepared to leave the shop.
"No, I think that we've got everything. But if you happen to find a gemstone that's the same red as your eyes, I need five small stones that colour for a custom order. I've been looking through the warehouse stock, and I don't find one that's quite right for the dress," the Elf explained.
"Alright. I've got some in my personal storage, if I can't find one in the dungeon."
Meisje gave her a happy wave, and returned to sketching out the next outfit design that she wanted to put into their lineup. Opal had created a bunch of Dreamcloth, and Meisje had Divine Tailoring.
The pair of them could come up with truly beautiful work together, without Opal getting sidetracked by random thoughts.
The Fae was a bit like Cara in Meisje's mind.
She was easy to distract, and loved a good prank to the extent that she would let it completely derail her line of thought. But once she was focused, she was actually incredibly skilled.
Opal had no idea that was what the Elf thought. She was focused on coming up with a new show for the private theatre at the Doll House.
There was a Bunny holiday coming up, and she wanted to do something that would complement their dancing. The dances were incredible, but the bunnies had to take some breaks, and change the sets. So, Opal would come up with a show that played between scenes, and hid the work that was being done in the background.
That way, the experience was seamless, and their VIP guests got the very best of everything.
The bunnies danced there all the time, but the holiday shows were special, and deserved the extra attention.
And that led her back to the same thing that Meisje was thinking.
They needed some new Dreamcloth outfits made.
So, Meisje wasn't alone in the shop for long, even if you didn't count the customers. Business was booming at the Darklight Silk Emporium, but they had multiple constructs helping them now, and that left Rae and Meisje with a bit more free time to do the design work.
Keeping up with fashion was a full-time endeavour, after all.
At least, it was when you were the ones that decided what was fashionable
