Then the Dao Lord of the Martial Body Sect turned to Tepid Scholar and said, "No offense intended, I’m just stating the facts."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence" Tepid Scholar said sarcastically.

"Do you want to bet on whether he can get there before his avatar dies or not?" Sword Way asked with a smile.

The three of them engaged in some banter over the matter of Black Chain’s plan to rescue his avatar. Only Loki and Harem King didn’t join the conversation.

Loki didn’t join the conversation because he was busy with the auction. As for Harem King, she was busy glaring at Loki with killing intent in her eyes.

Upon hearing their conversation, Loki realized something that he had overlooked. As he remembered that the avatar of the Death Pathway could be used to find Tepid Scholar’s true body in the third heaven, he chuckled and thought, ’I didn’t think he would actually plan to use the avatar to find Tepid Scholar.’

’The chances of success are too low,’ he thought pessimistically. ’But if it turned out that he was close to Tepid Scholar in the first place, then not only would he be able to recover his avatar, but he would also be able to kill Tepid Scholar?’

’Is this why he didn’t bother to bid? Is this his scheme?’

While he was thinking, he caught Harem King staring at him. As he glanced at her, he noticed that her eyes were still alluring. Apparently, the loss of the Emotion Dao and the killing intent in her eyes towards him hadn’t diminished her beauty in his eyes.

The two sides exchanged the goods and swore the right oaths. Then Heavenly Eye received the avatar and got to work smashing it apart.

Just then, a weird laughter began reverberating through the Blessed Heaven World. "Hehehehe! Hahahaha!"

The laughter was coming from the rift belonging to Heavenly Eye. It turned out that as she was striking the avatar again and again in the third heaven, she was also cackling evilly and loudly.

They couldn’t see what she was doing and how the fight was going, but all of them could hear her deranged laughter. And once in a while, they could hear the cursing of the avatar.

A loud roar of anger rang out, accompanied by someone saying, "I curse you, Heavenly Eye, to a lifetime of bad luck until you get a painful death."

In response, she cackled as she said, "I’ll show you a painful death."

"Anyway," Loki said to take back everyone’s attention. "Who is up for another item?"

The third item for sale was the silver monkey representing the Forging Pathway. Tepid Scholar also won this avatar with a bid of 10,000 years of divine crystals and 1,000 units of celestial gold.

Next up was the transparent monkey with the glass-like body representing the Mind Hunter Pathway. Heavenly Eye won this round with a bid of 10,000 years of divine crystals and 1,000 units of celestial gold.

The fifth item was the white monkey representing the Enslavement Pathway. Black Chain won this bid with 11,500 years of divine crystals and 1,900 units of celestial gold.

When Loki saw Black Chain’s bid, he grinned maliciously and thought, ’If I remember correctly, he had won this avatar in the previous round with 8,000 divine crystals. If he put all he had to win this round like he did the last time, then 11,500 divine crystals must be the limit of his wealth.’
