Chapter 1108: Plagiarizing Pathways.

As Martial Will spoke, the phantom of stars fell from the sky into the four super worlds on which his Domains were established. Unlike Heavenly Eye’s two more stars, Martial Will sent down three more stars, making his total five stars.

The three new pathways had a size of 25 units each, so they were Major Daos. In total, Martial Will had one Grand Dao and four Major Daos.

Upon seeing this, Tepid Scholar didn’t want to believe it. He said, "I suspected that you had a hidden pathway, but how could you have the same number of pathways as Black Chain?"

Tepid Scholar’s entire worldview was being shaken by the development that he wasn’t the strongest Dao Lord in the Sea of Worlds like he once thought.

The last time he was shaken like this was earlier today when he was forced to birth a son. At that time, he felt his position as the second strongest in the Sea of Worlds threatened.

But what he felt back then couldn’t compare to being actually displaced by not one Dao Lord that he had previously looked down on, but by two Dao Lords.

Even being mentally prepared by the existence of his son to be displaced could only dull the impact somewhat. It couldn’t eliminate the impact at all.

He laughed deprecatingly as he said, "So you were telling the truth when you said you could defeat me."

"Of course, I was telling the truth," Martial Will said with pride. "I am very talented, and I became a Dao Lord before Black Chain, so it is normal that I have as many pathways as he does."

Now that he was using one Grand Domain and four Major Daos to set up his Domain, the size of the individual Domains had become 14.7 billion square kilometers, which is already greater than his previous total Domain attribute.

With his Domains now set up on 7 super worlds, not two super worlds like before, his total Domain attribute has become 102.9 billion square kilometers. This was good news.

The bad news was that all of this was costing a lot of lifespan. In total, he needed 91 million years of lifespan. This was simply too much for him to afford.

While he was thinking, one of the Dao Lords nearby recognized one of his hidden pathways. It was Immobile Mountain, and he recognized the pathway because he had the same kind.

Upon seeing the familiar Supreme Metac, Immobile Mountain asked in confusion, "Isn’t that the Defense Supreme Metac?"

"Yes, it is," Martial Will replied smugly.

Then he grinned and asked, "What about it?"

"What about it?" Immobile Mountain asked in anger.

"You always said you wanted my Defense Metac. You tried to kill me many times for it. And now you’re saying, what about it?"

The more he spoke, the angrier Lord Immobile Mountain became. By the time he was done speaking, he was already shouting.

But shout as he might, Martial Will was still carefree and smug. Martial Will said lightly, like he was talking about something as insignificant as the weather, "About that, I had to do it to make it believable."

"I couldn’t just say that I wanted your pathway all of the time. I had to put in the effort to show how much I wanted it. You should know that action speaks louder than words."

"Besides, I didn’t kill you back then when you denounced me as your master and went to establish your sects. The least you could do for me is to be used as a tool to make my lie more believable."

The more he spoke, the angrier Immobile Mountain became. But he wasn’t the only one who was angry. His two previous disciples, Green Fire and Carefree Immortal, were also angry with him.

Green Fire couldn’t hold back anymore and said, "You have the Defense Pathway, the Speed Pathway, and the Vitality Pathway, which are the same pathways as the three of us. Did you copy our pathways?"

"What kind of nonsense is that?" Martial Will asked with a frown. "Of course, I didn’t copy them. I only used you three as my whetstone and sources of inspiration."

"Before you get all angry and bothered, don’t forget that I helped you get the divine crystals you used to become Dao Lords. So without my help, you wouldn’t be here today, talking back to me. That should be considered an equal exchange."

"I could have killed you and eaten you as Black Chain did to his disciples. But I didn’t do it, so you should be on your knees thanking me."

Then he raised his fists at them and said, "And if you’re not convinced, I can always beat some sense into you. So come on. Come at me if you dare."
