Chapter 1107: Exposing Hidden Pathways.

"To think I was always running around hiding wherever I could when I ascended, but a dragon thought he was too good to hide," Heavenly Eye said after laughing. "Dragons are too proud. It serves him right that he died."

Then she returned her attention to the failed dragons of the present age and smiled as she said, "No matter. It is not much of a loss that these fools failed anyway."

"Actually, I like how things have turned out now. With the failures of these two as an example, they will be more open to discarding their dragon heritage and joining my sect."

"You mean, joining our sect," Sword Maestro spoke up to remind her.

Upon realizing the situation, her smile became restrained as she said, "I guess this is the price I have to pay to avoid conflict with everyone. I have to share this place with everyone."

As she spoke, she offered a phantom of her Supreme Metac to the super world in front of her. The Will of the World was receptive to her offer and accepted it, thereby initiating the creation of a Domain.

The new domain started out as a spherical tumor on the world barrier of the super world. As the tumor enlarged, it became a landmass of its own, complete with a black world barrier around it.

She set up her two pathways, which were Grand Daos, in the three super worlds. Each Domain was 9.8 billion square kilometers and cost her 9.8 million years of lifespan. So it cost 29.4 million years of lifespan to set up her Domain in the three super worlds.

Earlier, she had added her Domain to two of the old four super worlds. So the total cost of lifespan for setting up Domains up to this point was 49 million years. In exchange, her total Domain attribute was increased from 19.6 billion square kilometers to 68.6 billion square kilometers.

"This was worth it," she said in satisfaction. "You know what, I can do more and I should do more."

"Look at who’s drunk on power," Martial Will said snidely.

Tepid Scholar chuckled and said, "Who can blame her? It is a good feeling to gain more power."

"To think there are 12 more large worlds waiting for us? It makes me wonder why we haven’t done this all along."

Sword Maestro replied immediately, "We couldn’t because instead of working together, we were always at each other’s throats."

"That’s true," Tepid Scholar said with a laugh. "Black Chain was always ready to sabotage anyone who tried to compete with him. He was always..."

What Tepid Scholar wanted to say died in his mind, never to be revealed, because Tepid Scholar sensed something that made him pause and frown.

The eyes of the Dao Lord of the Myriad Phenomenon Sect glinted sharply as he looked at the super world in front of him. His gaze wandered to the newly formed divine constellation where there were currently only two stars revolving around the sun.

Under his watchful gaze, he saw the sky open above the super world, and the phantom projections of two Supreme Metacs fell from the sky. These two projections were identical in shape and size to the previous two.

The two new phantoms joined the ones in the divine constellation, making four stars that were now revolving around the sun. The addition of these two pathways caused the domain to begin increasing in size once more.

"Another Seer Pathway and Deceiver Pathway? This can’t be right," Martial Will said with suspicion.

"Can you have two copies of the same pathway? Sword Maestro asked as he turned to her.

Before she could reply, Tepid Scholar interrupted in anger and said, "Of course not. These four must belong to different pathways, but she made them look like each other."

"The only thing we can be sure about is that one of these pathways is used to deceive us and make the pathways look alike. The true nature of the pathways is something we can’t determine so easily."

He finished his ranting by saying, "As usual, she is lying."

In response to this accusation that she was a liar who was lying about her pathways, she smiled and said, "I am in a good mood."

On the one hand, she couldn’t refute the claim that she was lying. On the other hand, she didn’t want to refute the claim.

When she decided to expose her hidden pathways, she was prepared for something like this and worse. But she judged that the benefit of exposing her pathways was much better than keeping them hidden while her daughter was using them to try to kill her.

Lastly, she was really in a good mood and didn’t mind that he was complimenting her. Not only was calling her a liar a compliment, making it difficult for her to be offended, but the benefit of exposing her two hidden pathways had put her in such a good mood that she wouldn’t have minded if he called her something actually insulting.

By exposing the two new pathways, both of which are Minor Daos, her individual Domain increased by 1.8 billion square kilometers. So now the total size of her Domain has increased from 68.6 billion square kilometers to 81.2 billion square kilometers.

And this was just with seven super worlds. When she thought about how there were still 12 large worlds to use as possible Domains, and that she had just acquired the Mind Hunter Pathway and the Money Pathway, which she had yet to use, the smile on her face could only widen.

When Martial Will saw this, he said, "Since we’re exposing hidden pathways, I guess it is time for me to expose mine."

Tepid Scholar’s mind began to buzz when he heard this. He turned to Martial Will and said, "Not you, too."

"Yes, me too," Martial Will insisted with a nod. "It is time to show you what I’m really capable of."
