"And if you think I’ve played a trick, take these and use them on others without my knowledge," she said as she handed him more golden seeds.

"You will find that as long as anyone uses these as their Core Metacs and breakthrough, they will gain more lifespan. The lifespan they will gain is dependent on their cultivation and the amount of lifespan you had when you advance to rank 2."

"From rank 1 to rank 2, you will gain 50% of your lifespan at the moment you advance. From rank 2 to rank 3, you will gain another 50% of your base lifespan. You will continue to gain 50% more at rank 4 and rank 5 too."

"That’s a total of a 200% increase to lifespan. Doesn’t that mean we mortals can live as long as 600 years now?" the tribal chief asked with a hitched voice.

Her response was to put her palms together and bow as she said, "That’s the maximum benefit that one can earn once you switch your pathway."

"The minimum amount of lifespan you will get is 10% of your lifespan, and it is for those who are too close to their deaths and whose base lifespan is too low to earn something greater than 10% of their nominal lifespan. That’s the benevolence of the Apex God"

The tribal chief still didn’t believe her completely because what she was promising was simply too good to be true. So he took the golden seeds and went to test them out in secret.

There were more than ten different pathways already, and all of them were offering to increase the lifespan of their mortals.

The problem wasn’t a pandemic localized to the Blessed Heaven World either. Every super world and large world in the Sea of Worlds was being invaded like this. The more they saw about the matter, the more worried the Dao Lords became.
