Chapter 1153: 10% Profit.

"Since 55.56% of them will give me half of their lifespan, in the case of the most populous race in the Sea of Worlds, which is humans, that will bring me 972 billion years of lifespan. Who can call that an inefficient investment?" It asked Loki smugly.

"The best part is that this method produces greater output the greater the initial lifespan of the race I am converting is. So the greater my initial investment, the higher I am set to earn," he said with pride.

"I see. But why are you telling me all of this?" Loki asked in confusion.

"Isn’t it obvious?" the phantom moose asked with an amused chuckle. "I want to work with you."

"This method can only be used by Gemini. It is a racial talent of ours, so to speak. I doubt you can come up with something better than it, so it is safe to say that your old sect system will become obsolete very soon."

"But that doesn’t need to happen to you. You can continue to remain relevant if we work together."

"Let us combine our sects," the phantom moose said earnestly. "You can help me conquer the Sea of Worlds, and I will share 10% of the profits with you."

"Only 10%?" Loki asked with a dark face.

But it laughed and said, "Come on. That’s being generous with you."

When Loki didn’t look convinced, it decided to explain patiently, saying, "I am the brains of the operation, and you’re the brawn. Without me, your sect will die and vanish. But even without you, my sect will still exist."

"So the only thing you’re adding to this enterprise is the strength needed to beat out my brethren and help me prosper. I think 10% is good enough for that kind of work. Of course, I will pay for any lifespan you consume in fighting for our sect."

At this point, Loki had heard enough. Instead of listening to more of the insulting offer, he turned to look at the small world behind the giant moose.

The giant moose asked him, saying, "So what do you think?"

Loki replied by activating the Devouring Ability. So a black force field erupted from him, covering the distance between them and surging towards the phantom moose.

"What are you doing?" the giant moose asked in anger as the black force field submerged it.

The giant moose was only a phantom without any strength, so it was shattered instantly when it came in contact with the black force field. It couldn’t block the attack at all, so the black force field successfully crossed the distance and reached the small world.

However, a barrier appeared around the small world, blocking the black force field. The barrier was transparent like glass, but it was by no means fragile. It was so powerful that no matter how the power of the Devouring Ability raged, it was blocked outside the small world.

While the barrier and the black force field were clashing, a roar of anger came from the sky, "You idiot. How dare you attack me?"

The shout came from a Dao Lord in the sky who seemed to be angry with Loki.

This angry Dao Lord continued to say, "Do you think you’re special? Do you think just because you are the first to set up your Divine Court, that makes you unbeatable?"

"I am telling you now that you’re messing with forces beyond your comprehension. You’re just a fish at the bottom of a well. Your fate is to be hooked by a rod and roasted for food."

"Our Gemini race isn’t to be trifled with. We are capable of so much more than you can imagine. We invade and conquer Domains like eating and drinking. It is almost a way of life for us. You, on the other hand, are just a bumpkin who doesn’t even know what’s outside his Domain."

Then they laughed as they said, "Do you think you could destroy my world? What a fool!"

"Didn’t I tell you that I had prepared for the worst? If I had prepared for the worst, don’t you think I would have prepared for something like this?"

"This is just the start. The gap between us will only continue to widen. In no time, you will become obsolete and be forgotten. Your only choice is to join us or be devoured by us."

The more the youngling spoke, the more agitated it became. It only stopped when one of the Dao Lords from the Blessed Heaven World spoke to him.

"I will join you," Black Chain said.

"That’s good. You have made a wise choice," the giant moose said with pride.

Then the moose said to Loki, "See that? That’s how wise people behave."

Down below, Loki used the Power Identification Ability on the shield protecting the small world. Unfortunately, the Power Identification Ability came up with nothing.

Apparently, the shield was powerful enough to protect itself from being identified. Even his true body in the sky couldn’t see through the shield. This made Loki become solemn.

Since he couldn’t breach the defense of the small world and eat it, Loki decided to eat the moose in his hand. He also devoured one of the golden seeds the moose had and placed the Core Metac in the golden seed into Fenrir.

With nothing left to do, he took off in the direction he came. In the sky, the Dao Lords watched him go with various expressions.

The Dao Lords of the Gemini race were mostly amused by the turn of events. They were amused by Loki’s foolish actions and also found the Nature God’s public embarrassment to be hilarious. So they were laughing, chuckling, or shaking their heads in pity for Loki.

As for the other Dao Lords of the Blessed Heaven World, they all had heavy hearts. Everything they just heard and saw left them wondering about their fate.
