Chapter 1155: Stranded In The Lower Realms.

In the void between worlds, Loki’s avatar had stopped trying to approach the Sea of Worlds. Instead, it rose to the sky to meet the true body.

However, something flashed before him and blocked his way. When Loki got a good look at the figure, he saw someone covered in a blurry mist.

To look at this person was to look at them through translucent and colored glass. Space had wrapped around them, making them blurry and indistinct. But even though Loki couldn’t see exactly what they looked like, he was able to identify who they were.

The face of his avatar was grim as he said, "Wandering Thief."

The figure bowed and said, "In the flesh."

He immediately used Power Identification Ability on Wandering Thief, but it didn’t work. Apparently, the layer of space around Wandering Thief was obscuring identification, and Loki was too weak to break through this layer.

Fortunately, his true body in the sky could see through the layers of defense to see what was going on.

The Divine Metacs he saw were mostly things he was familiar with. After all, he had once fought and defeated a version of Wandering Thief. But that version was a mortal.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t in good shape right now. Because of what just happened in the Blessed Heaven World, he wasn’t in the right condition to fight anyone.

As it turned out, the consequences of removing him from the divine constellation were more insidious for Loki than losing power from one Domain.

The avatar was created through the Blessed Heaven World, and because his avatar hadn’t returned to the true body, cutting him off from the divine constellation meant cutting off the connection between the true body and the avatar, weakening the avatar.

Now, he had lost his Domain Power and the amplification of his law fragments. Even the available lifespan had shrunk to only what was inside the avatar at the time of its creation.

But this was just the surface of his loss. The disconnection from his True Body also meant he had lost access to the Divine Spark and the Spark of Power.

So he had been weakened badly. Then Wandering Thief appeared. Loki didn’t think this was a coincidence.

The loss of this avatar would make him lose one godhead and some of his potential. And since his true body only had one Supreme Metac, the loss of his avatar would also kill him.

This turn of events made Loki’s eyes flash with anger, and he thought, ’I shouldn’t have bothered to hide my capabilities as a Mountain Lord. I should have used the Divine Mountain to create the avatar, not the Blessed Heaven World.’

While he was assessing the situation and considering his options, Wandering Thief smiled and said, "Fancy meeting you here. It is a pleasant surprise, I’d say."

"I have been meaning to have a meeting with you. If you remember, we have unfinished business from earlier. We couldn’t hash it out at that time, but now seems like a good time to complete our business."

"Let me guess, Heavenly Eye told you to come meet me at this moment," Loki said with certainty.

"Not exactly," he said with a laugh. "She only told me to come and watch something. When I saw your avatar lose its foundation, I made the decision to come and meet you."

Having received the information he wanted, he activated the Rewind Metac within Fenrir. Within his body, the River of Time opened up, and Fenrir rushed toward it.

Wandering Thief seemed to sense something. His eyes became ferocious as he said, "Oh no, you don’t."

As he spoke, he activated the Space Freeze Metac. This caused the area around him to freeze. Loki was caught in the area of effect, so his body froze. Fenrir within him also froze and couldn’t enter the River of Time.

Wandering Thief followed his move with another. He activated the Space Blink Metac and the Space Tear Metac in quick succession.

The Space Blink Metac brought him over to Loki, thrusting his hand into Loki’s chest. The Space Tear Metac had converted his hand into the sharpest blade, so he would have no problem piercing his whole arm into Loki’s body.

Then a mark appeared on Wandering Thief’s body. Next, the mark exploded into a force field, covering Wandering Thief’s body and trying to seal him.

Just as the arm was about to touch Loki, someone had interfered. The interference came from the sky.

Even though Loki’s true body couldn’t enter the lower realm, he could still interfere with the lower realm. It was just that the barrier between realms would weaken his power heavily, capping it at a limit.

So the current power he could interfere with was far from enough to kill Wandering Thief’s avatar, but he didn’t stop. He added more marks to the avatar and activated both the Siphon Ability and Devouring Ability through them.

Loki didn’t stop there either. He also placed a mark on his avatar and activated the Seal Ability through the mark.

But the forcefield that wrapped around his avatar didn’t disrupt what the avatar was doing. Instead, it formed a cocoon of protection around the avatar, preventing it from being affected by external forces, such as the Space Freeze Metac.

In response to all of this interference, Wandering Thief roared in anger and activated the Space Crash Divine Metac.
