Chapter 1174: The Unlawful Accusation.
They were smart so they knew that Martial Will wasn’t looking at Heavenly Eye just to find something to look at.They could tell that his glance was packed with meaning and a question. No one thought what he was doing would work, though.
Unlike what he expected, Heavenly Eye nodded and said, "Don’t worry. I’ve been tracking him for a while now. I will find him soon."
Her uncharacteristic obedient behavior made Martial Will narrow his eyes and look at her suspiciously. He didn’t say anything, but he didn’t need to.
So Heavenly Eye sighed and said, "Do you want me to swear an oath that I am really searching for him and will tell you about it when I find him?"
In response, Martial Will nodded and said, "Yes, I’d like that very much."
After Heavenly Eye swore the oath, Tepid Scholar said to Martial Will, "Maybe you’re right. Maybe this Ragnarok is really a small version of Black Chain because he is the only second person after Black Chain who has made all of us band together to deal with them."
While privately, he said to Martial Will, "Good job making Heavenly Eye swear that oath. I really thought it would be more difficult to make her find Ragnarok for us. I was prepared to put some pressure on her. It looks like she is concerned about him more than she lets on."
Apparently, they were having a secret meeting within a secret meeting. As for how many secret meetings were being held concurrently, no one could be sure.
On the surface, Martial Will scoffed in response to Tepid Scholar’s open agreement to his statement that Ragnarok reminded him of Black Chain.
Then he said, "Let’s get back to the matter of the contingencies for the meeting in ten days."
On the other side, the divine constellation looked serene from Loki’s perspective. No matter how he looked at it, the situation was extremely calm and quiet.
He didn’t believe the calmness, though. If anything, he was sure that it would be the quiet before the storm.
Inwardly, he was amused as he thought, ’Let them scheme. It is their right.’
He was confident his plan would succeed because as long as he could get every one of their Rank 8 cultivators in one place, he had already won.
Plus, the meeting was mostly a smokescreen. His main objective had always been the Blessed Heaven World. By asking for a meeting, he’d distracted them from that.
After chuckling about their schemes, his attention soon returned to his Divine Mountain. He saw that in the time he was away, 9 more Dao Lords had joined.
’If only there was a way to get these people to do what I want,’ he thought to himself.
’There are 211 Dao Lords here. If I can only control 10%, it will be a considerable force.’
To find a possible answer as soon as possible, he put the entire 695 divinity from the 4-D prototype into his Divine Spirit to speed up his thinking. This was unlikely to solve the problem, though.
A faster mind didn’t mean a smarter mind. It only meant he could explore more options in less time. A possible solution could be one of those options or not.
A few microseconds later, he seemed to have gotten a good idea. His eyes lit up as he said, "I’ve got it."
Just as he wanted to act on the idea, one of the phantom statues on the golden mountain sent a message: "How did you get the Root of Life Metac?"
"It is none of your business," Loki replied.
The Gemini fellow insisted, saying, "It is my business because the Root of Life Metac is a racial ability."
"Plus, you were using it before any Gemini was using it in this Domain. Therefore, you didn’t get it from us."
"I have a feeling that you stole this Metac somehow. So I will ask again. How did you get it? If you know what’s good for you, you will answer truthfully."
"I don’t have to explain myself to you!" Loki said, now angry.
His reaction displeased the Gemini, who sneered and said, "You little one-star celestial runt. Do you think you’re unstoppable because you’re my Mountain Lord?
"Just wait until I report you to the caretakers. I hope you can remain confident when they come after you."
Loki was taken aback for a brief moment when he heard the threat. When he recovered, he burst out laughing as he said, "What did you just say?"
"You will report me to your caretaker? What are you, a child? Is this a kindergarten?"
But no matter how he ridiculed the Gemini, there was no response. It seemed to him that the conversation had ended.
"What a sore loser? Loki muttered in disgust. "I too wish there was someone I could go to report grievances to."
Then he returned his attention to the Olympus Divine Court and sent a message to everyone saying, "From today, I am establishing Olympic medals. They are internal currencies that we will use within the Divine Court for the exchange of goods and services."
"The Olympic medals range from Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond. The value of the Bronze is equal to a Minor Supreme Metac, and it is worth 1,000 Celestial Gold."
"A Silver Olympic Medal is equal to one Major Dao. A Gold Olympic Medal is equal to a Grand Dao, and a Diamond Medal is equal to one Cosmic Dao."
"One Diamond Medal is worth ten Gold Medals, one Gold Medal is equal to ten Silver Medals, and one Silver Medal can be exchanged for ten Bronze Medals. If you want to sell artifacts, Supreme Metacs, and other resources, you can do so easily through the Divine Court and the Olympic Medal."
He thought that this was a good idea because not only would it allow him to sell the Supreme Metacs he had in exchange for the ones he didn’t have, but it would also give him an avenue to employ the Gemini younglings and make them do what he wanted.
