Chapter 1212: The World Pump.

The surface of the glass shield and the blue pearl seemed to be made of the same material, and for some reason, they didn’t reject each other when they touched. The surfaces of the two objects fused, allowing the blue pearl to graft itself onto the shield.

At the point where the World Pump and the glass shield had fused, a white pillar of energy and light surged into the world. The pillar was highly energetic and pierced the world shield instantly, like a hot knife through butter.

The pillar of light was also moving at the speed of light, so it reached the surface of the world in the blink of an eye, well before the owner of the world, Bush Boy, could notice and do anything to stop it.

When the pillar of light touched anything in the world, it broke it down to law fragments and world essence. The pillar extracted the law fragments and world essence, pumped them upward through the pillar, and deposited them into the white gem at the center of the blue pearl.

To the inhabitants of the world, their world was being melted and evaporated by the pillar of light. Nothing was safe from the all-consuming light. Not even the atmosphere was safe.

Everything the pillar of light touched became food for the blue pearl. So the blue pearl was like a parasite, a mosquito draining the world of everything it had.

Of course, the owner of the world, Bushwick Boy, wasn’t going to let this go. This was his precious world, and he’d spent a lot of resources to raise it.

This world held his hope of building a Divine Mountain and becoming a Mountain Lord. So he couldn’t stand by and let his world be converted into resources for another world to grow. He began assembling his forces to destroy the invaders.

Within the World Pump, the white crystal at the center was turning into a multicolored crystal. It looked exactly like a world’s heart.

Seeing the essence of the world extracted and distilled before him with little effort made him applaud and say, "It is worthy of being a World Pump, and the Geminis know how to invade worlds efficiently."

After considering these pros and cons, he said, "No, I’m sure. This method is definitely more interesting than the shield breaker and outpost combo."

Then he said to the divine beings, who had been waiting around for him to give them orders, "The defenders will be here any moment now. I’ll take care of them while we finish what we started."

The divine beings turned to each other in confusion, wondering what he meant. They had believed he brought them here to help him invade worlds, yet he was saying he would do all the work while he finished what he’d started with them.

Upon considering what he could mean, many unfortunate possibilities appeared in their minds. The most prevalent thought was that Loki wanted to kill them. After all, what else could he have brought them here for?

One of them fell to his knees, saying, "Please spare me, my lord. I am willing to help you do anything, including betraying my sect."

The fellow was a Rank 8 cultivator from the Heavenly Eye Sect. His pathway was the Illusion Pathway, which Heavenly Eye had made everyone believe was the Deceiver Pathway.

He didn’t plead for mercy for every divine being here. He didn’t even plead for the people in his sect or his alliance members. His pleas for mercy were only for himself, and he was willing to sacrifice his sect if necessary.

"You have your priorities right, which is commendable," Loki said with a chuckle. "But you don’t need to beg for your life because I don’t want your life."
