Chapter 1215: Conversion Therapy.

Instead of killing Bush Boy instantly, he decided to give Bush Boy false hope so that Bush Boy wouldn’t give up quickly and would send more forces, preferably more Rank 9 avatars, to the World Pump to fight and defeat Loki. That way, he could gain more Supreme Metacs from this invasion.

He felt that this was a good deal, as it would preserve Bush Boy’s dignity as a strong warrior, and this Gemini youngling would be able to boast that he nearly defeated Ragnarok. In exchange, Loki would get a few Supreme Metacs.

’This way, both sides will be happy,’ he said, nodding his head complacently. ’What can I say? I am just too generous.’

After deciding his plan of action, he made the wolves scatter and run about as if they were barely able to keep themselves alive. Bush Boy saw this and was encouraged. His momentum shot through the world as he unleashed myriad attacks of lightning, fire, and force on the world.

The sight was too shameful for Loki to bear, so he looked away and returned his attention to the 147 divine beings in front of his avatar.

He resumed where he stopped, withdrawing the Rank 8 Divine Metac into his body and sending it to his true body. To the divine beings, he looked like he had put the Divine Metac into his Cave Heaven, which wasn’t wrong.

What really happened was that Loki’s true body took the Divine Metac, absorbed it into the spark of power, and made a copy with the Metac Creation Ability. The true body then converted the Divine Metac into a Rank 6 Divine Position with the Divine Position Creation Ability.

After the conversion to a Divine Position, the Divine Position Creation Ability was also used to upgrade the Divine Position to Rank 8. Then Loki sent the Rank 8 Divine Position into the avatar.

The avatar, in turn, acted as if he were taking something out of his Cave Heaven and handed it to the Rank 8 deceiver, saying, "Tell me. What do you think of this one compared to what you just gave me?"

The deceiver was stunned at first by the changes in his Divine Metac. Then his face lit up with excitement as he realized the implications.

He took the Divine Position from Loki in reverence, all the while shaking, unable to contain his excitement. When the Divine Metac entered his Life Fire and used it, he felt a surge of power like never before that stabilized his state of existence.

Instinctively, he knew immediately that the limit of Cave Heaven that the Divine Position Loki gave him was no longer 900 million square kilometers. He didn’t know the exact numbers, but he felt that he could now handle at least 1 billion square kilometers with the Divine Position without any issue.

His knees hit the ground again as he said, "Oh, great and powerful Dao Lord. This Divine Position is powerful beyond comparison. I can’t put just how powerful it is into words."

He said a lot of grand words, but his sincerity wasn’t as pure as he made it appear. The truth was that he couldn’t put how powerful the Divine Position was into words because he didn’t know exactly how powerful it was.

He was an ignorant man who had been given a treasure. He knew that the treasure was different from what he was used to. But he didn’t know exactly how big the difference was.

Even so, his ignorance didn’t stop him from speaking well and praising both Loki and the Divine Power to the ends of the world. Because he was so eloquent, Loki decided to forgive his ignorance.

Loki shook his head and said, "Not to worry. Seeing is believing. When you start advancing to Rank 9, the full power of this Divine Position will be revealed for everyone to see."

"Now, give me the rest of your Divine Metacs. One by one, we will exchange all of the Divine Metacs in your Cave Heaven, including the ones belonging to the members of your alliance."

"Let us begin," Loki said, urging him. "There are many people here waiting to see what I can do."

The deceiver immediately did as he was told and began stripping away his Divine Metacs, offering them to Loki one by one.

Each Divine Metac he removed killed him a little bit. He was like a mortal ripping out his internal organs and offering them to a god in reverence in exchange for power. Loki took his internal organs and made them better before returning them to him.

This wouldn’t be the first time Loki was doing something like this. The first time was with Money Body in the Second Heaven. That was a long time ago, both in years and in the number of timelines he had left behind.

This wouldn’t be his second time helping a Rank 8 cultivator change their Divine Positions either. It also wouldn’t be his third time, so it was safe to say he was an expert at this.

His approach was different this time, though. The first difference was how many divine beings he intended to help. The second difference was that he was also helping the members of the alliance of the Rank 8 cultivators.

In the previous times he helped Rank 8 cultivators advance, the members of their alliance had to die. But now, even if the Rank 8 cultivator had to take some of their Divine Metacs to get up to 8 Divine Positions to make the Supreme Metac, the members of their alliance would survive.

They would survive because he had made them get at least two Divine Positions. So if they had to give up one Divine Position, they would have one left to maintain their life.

The third difference was that he intended to keep the alliance members alive at all costs, and they would all advance to Rank 8 regardless of the outcome of their alliance leaders’ attempt to advance to Rank 9.
