THE GOD EATER

Chapter 1214: Nanite Transformation.

The World Pump obeyed and built walls that turned its interior into a snail’s shell. This created one long hallway from the entrance that looped around the World Pump’s core over and over again until it reached the core.

He would have loved to seal the entrance completely, but he couldn’t because he needed a continuous passage from the entrance, through the connection between the World Pump and the glass shield, to the core to allow the essence extracted from the world to reach the pump.

So he could have created a maze or a series of rooms between the core and the entrance. But whatever he created, there has to be at least one viable passage from the entrance to the core for the world essence to flow through. This too was a weakness of the World Pump.

By creating a hallway, he increased the distance the attackers had to travel to reach the core. Next, he needed people to defend the core and prevent the avatars from reaching it.

He was clearly busy with the divine beings he brought. To solve the lack of manpower, he created four wolf manifestations with the Devouring Supreme Metac and sent them to deal with the intruders.

Instead of taking the long way through the spiral hallway to reach the entrance, he willed it, and the walls opened up, revealing a hole for the wolf manifestations to take. When the wolves passed through, it closed behind them.

On the other side, the intruders couldn’t control the World Pump to open a path for them through the walls. They also couldn’t destroy the walls to make a way because the walls were as durable as the glass shield.

To destroy the walls in their way is to bring down the glass shield completely, which Bush Boy wouldn’t do if he didn’t want just about anyone to gain direct access to his world.

So while the intruders were taking the long way, the wolves were taking a shortcut through the spiral hallway. This arrangement ensured the wolves would teach the intruders before they went too far into the spiral hallway.

Loki was controlling the wolves, so when they encountered the intruders, he was able to use the Power Identification Ability through them.

Loki’s eye twitched when he saw this. The part where Bush Boy’s avatar had less than one million years of lifespan was what triggered the reaction.

’His Cave Heaven is 0.55 billion square kilometers. For his sake, I hope this is the Domain Power of a single avatar, not the Domain Power of his true body, because this will be too pitiful and his true body would be too weak.’

’That law fragment amplification of his is also pathetic. It seems victory is destined to be mine,’ he said with a sigh of pity.

He was certain of victory because his stats looked like this.

He thought the outcome was set, but Bush Boy didn’t. Instead of giving up, packing his bags, and returning the way he came with his head hung low, Bush Boy decided to fight.

The two-headed bird pointed at the four wolves and roared, saying, "Destroy them."

He wasn’t satisfied with giving orders like a general, so he took to the battlefield to be a role model for what he asked of his troops. The green-haired bird flew out of the tree, rose into the air, and smashed down towards the wolves.

As the bird fell, it activated the Nanite Transformation Supreme Metac(9) and used it to increase both its size and mass. It grew bigger and heavier as it fell, ensuring it would hit with great impact and cover a large surface.

The tiny bird quickly became an elephant and became as heavy as a world, but it was still growing. To speed up its descent, it transformed its wings into rocket engines and activated the Fire Production Engine Metac as its power source.

Four rocket engines appeared on each of its wings, making a total of eight. It grew two more pairs of wings and added eight rocket engines, for a total of 24.

Fire erupted from the 24 rocket engines, pushing its speed to the extreme. Then it opened its beak and created a cannon in which blue spheres of lightning were brewing.

Before it reached the ground, it was already attacking the targets. Bullets of lightning, which were produced by the Lightning Production Engine and shaped and enhanced by the Magnetic Field Production Engine, shot down from the sky, bombarding the targets.

Loki saw this and said, "How cute."

’It would be a shame to destroy his self-esteem with an easy defeat. So I will go easy on him,’ he thought with a smirk.

He decided not to end the fight instantly with the Devouring Ability and instead chose to entertain Bush Boy. This was mostly because he wanted to preoccupy Bush Boy here and give the young Gemini false hope.

From the intelligence he got from Titan about Bush Boy, this Gemini youngling possessed more than one pathway. So killing this one avatar wouldn’t end Bush Boy.
