Chapter 1221: Rank 9 Domain Power.

"I will be forced to hunt down every divine being in your sect and kill them. Do you really want your sect not to be able to have any divine beings?" Loki asked with a solemn voice.

In response, Tepid Scholar laughed and said, "It is not as if my sect has a lot of divine beings right now anyway. And I’m also running out of mortals to create more divine beings. So what if you kill all of my divine beings?"

"Is that what you think too?" Loki asked Sword Maestro.

Sword Maestro snorted in response before closing his rift and leaving. He was clearly angry with Loki, but he didn’t threaten to break one of the unwritten rules of being a Dao Lord.

Apparently, anger hadn’t blinded the Dao Lord of the Sword Maestro Sect. Unfortunately, Tepid Scholar seemed to have lost his mind.

"You lost, Tepid Scholar. Accept it with grace and move on," Loki said, trying to reason with him.

"You’re supposed to be the logical one among the old Dao Lords, so you should know that attacking and killing divine beings is a slippery slope. If you kill them, all hell will be let loose."

"Maybe you’re right. Maybe I shouldn’t kill the divine beings. But I can attack and kill those Rank 9 Dao Initiates. They are fair game, right?" Tepid Scholar asked with a leer.

"They are indeed fair game. But if you attack them, you would be offending the Olympic Court and me. I think highly of you, so I won’t advise you to do that," Loki said in a low voice.

"When you were stealing them, did you think about the consequences of offending me?" Tepid Scholar asked with a sneer.

Then he laughed as he said, "Besides, what is the worst thing you can do to me?"

"Will you find my true body and attack it? I want to see you try." Tepid Scholar said with a sneer.

Loki didn’t say anything. He only stared intently at Tepid Scholar in silence.

But Tepid Scholar wasn’t intimidated. The Dao Lord of the Myriad Phenomenon Sect stared at him in return, his eyes full of disdain and ridicule for his power.

After a few seconds of the staring contest, Tepid Scholar said, "Watch your back, the weakest Mountain Lord."

He closed the rift and left.

One by one, the other Dao Lords also left the scene, returning to whatever they were doing before Bush Boy drew their attention here. They left Loki with his army, thinking about what just happened and his plans to deal with the incoming trouble.

A few hours later, the World Pump was done. By now, the medium world had turned into a cloud of dust.

The World Pump could continue extracting essence from the cloud of dust, but Loki decided to call it quits at this point because the energy needed to keep the World Pump running was far more than the world essence that could be further extracted.

Since the extraction had stopped being efficient, he grabbed the multicolored core and ripped it out of the World Pump. This caused the entire blue sphere to fall apart.

At that point, his true body appeared in the sky. The avatar took the multicolored core into the sky and gave it to the true body.

After receiving the world essence, the true body left. As for the avatar, it returned to the divine army and led them away.

Their destination was the five super worlds he had established Domains on. He wanted to help them establish Domains there so that they would be strong enough to invade worlds in their own right and resist the attack of any Dao Lord that wants to kill them.

He would have loved to help each one establish a Domain in all five super worlds so that they would have maximum Domain Power. Unfortunately, he couldn’t do that because they were only Rank 9 Dao Initiates.

As Rank 9 Dao Initiates, they could only establish a Domain on one world. They wouldn’t be able to establish Domains in many super worlds and combine the power of the Domains into their true body until they became Dao Lords.

The good news is that this is their true bodies in the lower realm, not their avatars. Since they don’t need to create an avatar through the divine constellation of whatever world they are in, they would be able to use the full power of their Domains.

That means their Domain Power would be the maximum size of their Domain, not dependent on how many pathways there were in the world or how many of those pathways they controlled.

After thinking about the upcoming situation with the Blessed Heaven World, he decided not to let any of them establish their Domains there. Since they could only have one Domain, he didn’t want their Domain to be on a super world that was about to ascend.

If the Blessed Heaven World were to succeed in ascending, every Domain attached to it would be used to build the Divine Mountain, and every Dao Lord would lose access to their Domains. About the same thing would happen if the Blessed Heaven World failed its ascension.

If the Blessed Heaven World were to fail, it would be destroyed completely. At least, that’s what the Gemini younglings were taught.

So, whether it succeeded or failed, the ascension wouldn’t be good for them. So Loki decided to target more peaceful worlds unlikely to ascend if they witnessed the Blessed Heaven World fail its ascension.

’If the Blessed Heaven World fails, they will surely become scared and will stay put. I just have to find a way to make the Blessed Heaven World fail,’ he thought to himself with a sinister chuckle.

In the upper realm, Loki was holding an auction for his next partner in crime. That is, he was looking for someone who would pay him the most to help them destroy their enemies.
