Chapter 1307: 36th Cube.

’If Money Body could see me now and the 1,998 units of divinity I can produce with 36 cubes in the 4-D prototype, he would be so proud of me. He had so much faith in me and I’m glad I could prove him right.’

With 77 Supreme Metacs producing 27 units of commonality each, he had 2,079 in total to build more cubes and solidify them. The 36th cube needed 1,998 units of commonality while the 37th cube needed 2,109 units. So he was able to create and solidify the 36th cube.

As for the 37th cube, he needed 30 more units of commonality to make it. He already knew where he would get it. He was only waiting for his new donors to show something he could grab onto and use to get them to help him.

’Come to think of it, Money Body should be alive right now,’ he thought, realizing something.

’He should be down there in that small world waiting for people to go to Oceania with, so he should have survived the turmoil of the Blessed Heaven World’s ascension.’

’I should go and recruit him for the invasion of worlds. His Dao Lord did promise to let me borrow him for a year. I wonder if that oath is still binding on White Chain after he replaced Black Chain.’

As he thought about his plans, the world began to fade around him. First, all forms of light disappeared, leaving darkness. Then matter grew faint, and everything became a translucent phantom.

Next, the world lost its energy and became still. Finally, the world fractured, turning into fragments that collapsed and scattered away.

Throughout the process, Loki didn’t notice anything wrong. He didn’t even notice when his thoughts froze along with the world.

But his mind, within the spark of power, noticed it all. He also recognized it as the timeline’s end, as it was something he had orchestrated many times.

His heart went cold as he was plunged into darkness. When the all-familiar darkness became all that he could see, he had no more doubts about what had happened.

’It should be Time Traveler. Or the one called War Mongerer. Either way, he should still have the Time Loop Supreme Metac,’ he thought with certainty.

’For a while there, I thought he might not have the Time Loop Supreme Metac and had lost it somehow, which was why he ascended using the War Pathway. But it seems he had it all along.’

’He only used the War Pathway to ascend to pretend to be another person. Even though he was pretending to be someone else, he still rushed his ascension and escaped before I could get him. Clearly, they were not willing to take chances.’

’What a sneaky, scheming bastard. I like it,’ he thought, chuckling.

He was only magnanimous about the Time Loop Supreme Metac being used against him because he knew it happened. Because he sensed the timeline being erased, he no longer felt much threat from Time Traveler and could finally relax.

Shaking his head, he thought, ’Then again, if I couldn’t sense it, I would not remember and not need to be magnanimous. In any case, my experiment worked, and the spark of power can truly remember lost timelines.’

’It is a relief that I don’t need to keep trying to kill Space Wanderer again and again across many timelines to see if Time Traveler possesses the Time Loop Supreme Metac and see if I can wear him out by forcing him to reverse time again and again to save his brother.’

’While this outcome is good, I do have some questions. Since when did the spark of power become capable of sensing the reversal of time, and why?’

’I remember that time when Slav reversed time, I didn’t notice it. The spark of power didn’t start noticing the death of the timeline until I became a Dao Lord and created the 4-D prototype.’

’So is becoming a Dao Lord the reason I can sense the reversal of time, or is the 4-D prototype responsible for it? Or is there another reason I am unaware of?’

’It shouldn’t be because I became a Dao Lord, or other Dao Lords would notice that I reversed time all the time. It should be something else, like the incomprehensible material that I took from Astra and fused with, or the 4-D prototype.’

’Either way, I can say for certain that it is possible to notice when someone is reversing time. That means someone else may be noticing my shenanigans with time,’ he thought with a heavy heart.

As he was thinking, he swam through the darkness toward the other versions of himself. When he reached it, the two versions fused. Then he swam towards the next version.

He jumped like that from one version to another, approaching the only source of light in the darkness. The source of light wasn’t in this timeline, actually, and wasn’t producing light.

This entire world was dark and empty. But he was aware of the source of light in his mind and vaguely knew where it was. So he used it as a beacon to find his way in the darkness.

When he reached the source of light, he used it as an anchor to jump out of the darkness into the light. As he fused with the source of light, the darkness fell away and was replaced by reality.

In the new timeline, Loki was talking with White Chain. White Chain rolled his eyes at him and said, "So what will you do? You can’t become a Domain King, and you will die."

"Your only choice is to advance to ten-star celestial and become a Domain King in less than one year, before we can mature enough to compete with you. Even then, you will be forced to become a Gemini."

"The only difference between you and us at that time will be that you still possess the memories of your previous identity. So at the end of the day, you’re doomed."
