Chapter 1340: Pros And Cons Of Gemini.

As he went through the benefits of his new identity, he thought, ’Secondly, I can use some of the free divinity from the 4-D prototype without worrying about the Gemini race. After all, that’s the effect of my origin talent.’

’Thirdly, I don’t have to give birth to sons anymore. This is perhaps the best part of being a Gemini, or at least top three.’

’Fourthly, I can now speed up the cultivation without worrying about being butchered for being too fast. I’ll just say it is the effect of my origin talent.’

’And last but not least, I can now use Divine Metacs without being seen. My origin talent to the rescue once again,’ he thought, sneering in disdain.

’As for the things I can’t do even with the identity of Gemini youngling, I still can’t expose my ability to combine the power of Supreme Metacs.’

’I also can’t use another upgraded Supreme Metac as my pathway ever again. Even if I am at the brink of death, I should never use it.’

He had told the guardian that it might be possible to upgrade a Supreme Metac in the future. He did so to lay down an excuse beforehand in case he used the Freedom Supreme Metac or any of the numerous Supreme Metacs he upgraded.

But after learning more and seeing how seriously the Gemini race was taking one Fenrir, he decided not to tempt fate anymore. And even though the Matrix didn’t tell him what was so important about an upgraded Supreme Metac, its refusal to share that information worried him enough. So he decided that it was in his best interest not to attract more trouble.

’The third thing I can’t do is use another Supreme Metac within Fenrir. The fourth thing is that I can’t upgrade Supreme Metacs using Fenrir ever again.’

’The fifth thing is that I can’t produce Supreme Metacs or Divine Metacs through the spark of power anymore. As for the sixth thing I can’t do, it is that I can no longer devour new Supreme Metacs to upgrade the 4-D prototype.’

’Lastly, it seems I will never have freedom until I escape the Gemini race,’ he thought as he looked at the eye hanging out in his inner world.

The eye had disappeared earlier. One would easily think it had left because of how it disappeared and what it said before it disappeared, but the eye was only pretending to leave. It had actually gone inside his body and hovered around, watching his every action.

As usual, the white Loki and black Loki didn’t notice the eye at all. Only the spark of power Loki noticed it lurking around in their body.

He didn’t know whether it was because the Gemini race didn’t trust him or because they were monitoring him closely to protect their investments. Either way, he knew that with the eye watching his every move, he couldn’t do many of the things he used to be able to do unless he was ready to break off with the Gemini race.

’I guess I can’t blame them. I did kill the previous one, and no one ever understood how I did it. If I were them, I would continue watching to make sure that nothing is amiss.’

’Either way, this is the price to pay for all of those benefits. I now have an eye that can track me through the River of Time, watching my every move.’

’Plus, I can’t kill the eye as easily as I could before. After all, we’re in the upper realm where it can show its full power, and the guardian is nearby.’

Despite the constant surveillance, Loki wasn’t discouraged. In fact, his heart was full of hope.

He grinned mentally as he said, ’As they say, if you can’t beat them, join them. At least, join them for a while and use them to strengthen yourself until you can escape.’

’If that guardian was telling the truth that he is at the peak of the Dao Emperor cultivation level, and that the god king won’t try to harvest me until I reach that level myself, then it is not impossible to escape.’

’I already have a way to speed up my cultivation at the Dao Lord level, and I’m sure that the fusion of Supreme Metacs can be completed instantly. So I can definitely advance to the peak of Dao Emperor level and can do so very quickly.’

’Once I advance to the peak of Dao Emperor, I will be able to take down the guardian and escape. What I need to focus on now is where exactly to escape to and how to make sure the god king won’t find me.’

While the mind within the spark of power brainstormed their dire situation, the other two Lokis were blissfully unaware. They were more concerned about when to establish the Divine Mountain, how to grow the Olympic Sect, and how to expand their Domains.

The true Loki agreed with their thinking. He didn’t think their concerns were less important than his, since what they were thinking about would also strengthen him and help him escape.

However, no matter how important their agendas were, he had the final say on what mattered most and decided the order of priority.

Right now, he had decided the most important thing was advancing their cultivation and using the Knowledge Pathway as their next pathway.

He wanted to use the Knowledge Pathway to learn things that the Matrix wouldn’t tell him, such as how to escape from the Gemini race.

Since he didn’t need to hide the amplification of the 4-D prototype and couldn’t combine the power of Supreme Metacs, he decided to prioritize the Knowledge Pathway over the Seal of Death. Even if the Seal of Death was still as useful as before, escaping was still his highest priority.

’Will that eye notice what I ask with the Knowledge Supreme Metac? I guess we will cross that bridge when we get there.’
