Chapter 1339: Number Of Domains.

"Surely, that’s not restricted information, right?" he asked, his tone one of disdain.

A smiley face appeared on the virtual screen as the Matrix replied, "I see that you’re joking about the constant redaction. Good one."

"You’re right, that information is not restricted. For the Divine cultivation system, you rise from Demigod to Angel, and then to Archangel."

"I see," black Loki said, nodding. "Now tell me more about how to advance from Demigod to the subsequent stages."

A sad face appeared as it said, "Unfortunately, you do not have the authority to see this information."

"What information can I access then?" he asked, irritated. "How many Domains are there in the universe?"

"You have access to that information. There are an estimated 10 quintillion Domains in the universe. That’s 10 × 10^19 Domains."

"The Gemini race has conquered thousands of Domains. The exact number is restricted. But you should know that the goal of the Gemini race is to spread to every corner of the universe."

"Oh, that’s huge," black Loki said, surprised by that number.

The spark of power Loki was also thinking, ’I expected a lot, but I didn’t expect so much. That’s like the number of sand grains on Earth, large. The universe is really a large place.’

By now, white Loki had finished going over what he learned from the guardian and had become interested in learning more about the Gemini through the Matrix.

He took out his own runic orb and asked, "What about pantheons? What are they, and how many are there in the universe?"

"The information about pantheons is restricted. But I can tell you that a pantheon is a conglomeration of Domains."

"I can also tell you that in order to create one, you need to advance to a stage beyond the Archangel or Dao Emperor. Unfortunately, I can’t share how they are created or how many of them there are."

The two Lokis kept bombarding the Matrix with questions, one after another. Some questions were about things they were curious about, but others were things the spark of power Loki wanted to know.

It didn’t really matter to them where their curiosity came from anyway. In fact, they couldn’t tell that a question they asked didn’t originate from them. The question simply popped into their minds, and they asked it.

They didn’t know they were puppets, and that a puppeteer somewhere was directing their actions. As for the puppeteer in question, he was satisfied with their performance.

It took a long while of questions and curiosity-satisfying before they realized they had gone off topic. When they did, the spark of power Loki began to chuckle.

As he chuckled, he thought, ’It is just like surfing the web back on Earth. In no time, I’ve been distracted from my original purpose and have gone down a rabbit hole of mostly useless but interesting information. I missed this.’

He thought that the experience was pleasant, but he acted immediately to rectify the problem. He immediately made one of the Lokis ask the initial question they had.

So white Loki said to the Matrix, "What is a virtual universe and how is it created?"

"A virtual universe is a dimension separate from the jurisdiction and rule of the Grand Force of the Universe. This allows the virtual universe to operate on completely different rules."

"As for how a virtual universe is created, I do not know. But if I knew, I’m sure the information would be inaccessible to you."

While white Loki asked that question, black Loki asked another about virtual universes. He said, "What can the virtual universe be used for, and when will I get the opportunity to use it?"

The Matrix replied, "At your stage, the virtual universe can be used to simulate different possibilities for the conversion efficiency of your Supreme Metacs.’

’The virtual universe will scan you and create a perfect copy of yourself that you can control and cultivate with. Take note that any cultivation progress in the virtual universe is temporary and needs to be replicated in the real universe before it can become useful."

’The simulation saves time and energy in that if successful, you can use the answer it produces directly instead of trying on your own. But any simulation, regardless of success or failure, will still take some time."

"When you become an Angel, the virtual can help you simulate the fusion of Supreme Metacs. It can help you check errors in potential fusion paths you intend to take, and it can inspire you with new ideas if you’re stuck."

"You need contribution points to use the virtual universe. You can earn cultivation points by helping the Gemini race become stronger as a whole, such as discovering hidden Domains, gaining access to them, invading them, or conquering them."

The Matrix went on to explain how to order a session with the virtual universe, how much the sessions would cost, what to prepare to maximize each session’s effectiveness, etc.

The more Loki heard, the more he learned. He already knew about the black-and-white virtual reality, but he didn’t know the specifics of how to use it.

Unfortunately, the more he learned, the more curious he became. After hearing about contribution points, he asked about the contribution system. Then the other Loki asked about the invasion of Domains.

By the time he came up for air, he had only one thing to say about the Gemini people. ’They are very powerful. And I am the one in control of my body, not their so-called god king, so it might not be a bad thing that I am a Gemini youngling.’

’In fact, it is a great thing. Aside from the potentially endless supply of Supreme Metacs I can go through and access to advanced technology like the Matrix, there are other benefits that the identity gives me.’

’For one, I can reverse time without worrying now. I can even use the Time Rewind Supreme Metac as my second pathway without worrying about drawing unwanted attention from the Gemini race.’
