Chapter 1342: 100% Conversion Efficiency.

To prevent Geminis from tampering with the Gemini Supreme Metac, it was designed so no Gemini could own it and control it to do whatever they want. This was why he couldn’t use the Gemini Supreme Metac to set up a Domain or sect in the lower realm even though it was technically taking up one of his godheads.

Since the Gemini Supreme Metac didn’t belong to them, no Gemini actually has supreme mastery of it. They also couldn’t create Divine Metacs for it or use it to fight directly.

Another more glaring sign that the Gemini Supreme Metac wasn’t under their control was that it was constantly active, couldn’t be deactivated, and was at 100% conversion efficiency.

He never worked on it since he got it, yet it was at 100% conversion efficiency. Yet despite its 100% conversion efficiency, he couldn’t use it to advance his cultivation.

The only thing he could do with it was to channel the power of the Devouring Supreme Metac through it. That way, both his clones could use the Devouring Ability.

’It is a good ability, if I were being honest. But the price to pay for it is too high,’ true Loki thought about the Gemini Supreme Metac.

’I would rather be on the other side, creating more of it and using it to force people to become members of my race and not be enslaved by it.’

’This ability to channel and copy any pathway with the Gemini Supreme Metac makes it highly compatible with Fenrir. Knowing what I know, I can already guess how I will be harvested when I am done creating the prototype they want,’ he thought, sneering.

If not for the other benefits that a Gemini brings, the Gemini Supreme Metac would be almost useless. But even with all the benefits, Loki still thought its sole purpose was to be a shackle on their existence, meant to enslave them.

Even though he wasn’t like the other Geminis and possessed supreme mastery of the Gemini Supreme Metac, he didn’t intend to flaunt that capability. So he didn’t try to use the Gemini Supreme Metac to expand his Domain or establish his sect.

He also didn’t try to create Divine Metacs for it. Of course, he didn’t need to use his method of acquiring conversion efficiency with Divine Metacs since the Gemini Supreme Metac was already at 100%. So while black Loki was busy grinding conversion efficiency with the Devouring Supreme Metacs and 27 Devouring Divine Metacs, white Loki was free to research cultivation systems.

Now that he was a Gemini, he could use the Root of Life Core Metac the way it was meant to be used. He could put the Root of Life Core Metac in the Gemini Supreme Metac and channel the Core Metac of his original pathway into the Root of Life Core Metac.

This way, every Gemini can use the Root of Life Core Metac for their pathway regardless of the kind of pathway they have. So even if another Dao Lord got their hands on the Root of Life Core Metac, they couldn’t use it.

They wouldn’t have the Gemini Supreme Metac to use the Root of Life, and even if they found a way to bypass this, the Root of Life wouldn’t work for any pathway like it does with the Geminis.

The only way to use the Root of Life is to gain supreme mastery of its source and convert it to that specific pathway. Even then, the result would only work as a Core Metac for the specific pathway it was converted into.

Despite this handicap, it is still nearly impossible to achieve because one would need to gain access to the source and study it or even control it before they can gain supreme mastery of it. Since the source was currently under the control of the god king of the Gemini race, anyone who wanted to use the Root of Life could forget about it.

The Matrix had said, "The Root of Life was acquired from one of the many races defeated and conquered by the Gemini race."

When he heard this, he asked, "Does every race have a pathway or Metac they control?"

"In a way, yes. But it is more like a single person controls that pathway and thus controls the race," the Matrix said.

"What cultivation do you have to be to control a race?"

"You do not have the authority to access that information," the Matrix replied.

He kept asking more questions and learned more information that made him realize just how difficult it was to get the Root of Life to work. It also made him appreciate the spark of power even more, especially now that he couldn’t use it as freely.

But as impressive as the Root of Life was, he wasn’t willing to use it. He was also interested in using the far more impressive Root of Power.

The three Cosmic brothers had inspired and challenged him with their Power Packs cultivation system. So he wasn’t willing to settle for the Root of Power and wanted to create his own cultivation system.

His motivations weren’t just because of pride. Creating a superior cultivation system had real benefits, so he wasn’t doing it just to show he was better than them.

So far, the Root of Life possessed an undisputed advantage for mortals from Rank 1 to Rank 5. It could even help a Rank 5 mortal to challenge a Rank 6 divine being. However, it offered no advantage to Rank 6 cultivators and above.

Therefore, the first main goal of his new cultivation system was to make his sect’s divine being superior to others. The second main goal was to find a way to strengthen himself through his disciples other than gaining lifespan from them.

These two are the main goals. He would consider the new cultivation system a success if it achieved either one. But of the two, he was more interested in the second.
