Chapter 920: Unnatural Suppression.

In response to all of their discouraging words, Sword Mastero said, "So what if the power I can exert in the Sea of Worlds is limited? That’s bad. I know. But I can read his mind, and I have the Killing Supreme Metac."

He said with confidence, "Killing trumps devouring, so I should have no problem with killing him. At most, it will be a little difficult."

His confidence lay in the fact that he was able to overwrite the tracking mark that Loki placed on him earlier. However, that confidence began to waver when his external body made contact with Loki’s external body.

In a fight of their levels, their domains are actually the first to clash. With the two of them getting closer to each other, their external bodies were bound to make contact. Now, one external body had to give way for the other.

There was only one world around with space for one external body. Two people just can’t occupy the same space with their external bodies.

The two of them had stolen the space for their external bodies from the world in the first place. Now they had to steal that space from each other.

When their external bodies smashed into each other, the instructions of their Supreme Metac tried to overwrite the instructions of the other external body. After a second of that struggle, the winner would be selected.

Initially, their two external bodies pressed into each other like two walls pushing against each other. But after a second, the wall of the Sword Mastero collapsed inwards, and the wall representing Loki’s external body expanded into the space left by Sword Mastero.

Of course, Sword Mastero’s external body didn’t collapse of its own accord. It was forced to give way because it was not strong enough.

This didn’t mean that Loki was definitely stronger than Sword Mastero. But it meant that the amplification from Loki’s external body is definitely higher than the amplification that Sword Mastero gained from his external body.

The subjugation of his external body also meant that Sword Mastero would be subject to the suppression of Loki’s external body when the black external body finally reaches his true body. Above all else, this was what made Sword Mastero’s confidence in winning this battle waver.

At this point, Sword Mastero remembered what Heavenly Eyes and Black Chains had said about his possible defeat. He also began to consider that they might be right.

Unfortunately, it was too late to back down at this point. It wasn’t because he was too proud and didn’t want to retreat even if he would be defeated. He simply couldn’t give up on the fight because Loki wasn’t giving him the chance to do so.

The range of Sword Mastero’s external body was 2041 kilometers. This was a distance that Loki could cover at the speed of a thought. So just as Sword Mastero began to rethink his chances of victory, Loki was onto him.

Loki’s external body covered him, and it felt as if he fell into a vat of acid. The whole world seemed to disappear around him, and his surroundings were replaced by hungry mouths tearing at him to eat him.

It was as if the whole world wanted to eat him. This was to be expected since he already knew that Loki’s pathway was the Devouring Pathway. However, the power of the Devouring Ability still caught him off guard.

But what was worse was that the power of Loki’s external body could now suppress his power. This suppression manifested in the form of the amplification of Loki’s Authority canceling out the amplification of his Authority.

The two of them had the same level of amplification since they had reached the limit of the Sea of Worlds in their current forms. So if there is going to be any suppression, the two Authorities should cancel each other.

The amplification from Loki’s Authority will be too busy to amplify Loki. This way, none of them will enjoy the amplification.

Of course, this is still bad for him because Loki’s domain is bigger than his. Without his Authority to amplify him, the disparity between the size of their domains would be able to make full impact.

Unfortunately for him, what happened was worse than that. Loki’s external body did suppress him. But for some reason, the amplification of his Authority didn’t resist the suppression and fight back.

It seemed Loki’s existence was a perfect match for his Authority in the Killing Pathway. So the amplification of his Authority couldn’t find an enemy to suppress. But Loki’s Authority in the Devouring Pathway could still target and suppress him.

This made Sword Mastero scream out, saying, "Impossible."

He even raised his voice and said, This should be impossible. You’re not a killer."

In response, Loki grinned and said, "That’s a first. People usually mistake me for a killer."

But Sword Mastero wasn’t in the mood to joke. The eyes of the avatar of the Dao Lord narrowed as he said to Loki, "How did you do it?"

Loki replied, saying, "Watch me and do as I do."

As he spoke, he activated the Sealing Ability, the Obscuring Mist Metac, the Invisibility Cloak, and the Thousand Cuts Metac.

Because Sword Mastero was in his external body, Loki didn’t need to mark him to seal him. In fact, his entire external body was all the mark he needed.

So it can be said that Sword Mastero was marked completely from head to toe. When the instruction for the Seal Ability was injected into the world, it took effect on Sword Mastero immediately.

The Seal Ability created a layer of black force field around him that began to weaken him and restrict his movements. This wasn’t really needed since Loki’s external body was already suppressing him. But it seemed Loki wanted extra assurance.

The Invisibility Cloak and the Obscuring Mist Metac also increased his chances of winning by making him disappear completely within his external body. He used them because he was sort of wary of the ability of Sword Mastero’s Killing Supreme Metac.
