Chapter 948: How To Become A Star.

Loki didn’t know that a lot of words had been exchanged regarding his ascension, and he damned well didn’t know the true reason Heavenly Eye was being so helpful. But his ignorance didn’t mean that he wasn’t being alert for tricks.

He thought, ’At the very least, I must make sure that they don’t know when I’m about to advance.’

His thoughts couldn’t escape their sight, so they easily became aware of what he was planning. What they saw amused them so much that some of them chuckled.

The ones who chuckled thought that his ignorance was cute. But not everyone thought he was cute. Black Chains was sure that he was dangerous and was glaring at Loki with a sharp glint of ill intent in his eyes.

As helpful as she was determined to be, Heavenly Eye didn’t point out that she saw his thoughts. In fact, not only did she not want him to know that his plan to hide his ascension had been exposed, but she also didn’t want him to know that they could read his mind.

Loki shrugged and said, "I have no problems with that."

The red ball of light was falling onto him. It was actually falling in front of him. But because of its size, it looked like it was falling right on him.
