Chapter 976: Numbers Don’t Matter.

He explained by saying, "If a Dao Lord doesn’t help a Dao Initiate with divine crystals, it doesn’t matter how talented or how numerous the Dao Initiates are. The Dao Initiates can never become Dao Lords."

"It was the same for us back then. When I was a rank 9 Dao Initiate, there were 20 of us. Not only did we not know that we needed divine crystals to advance, but we also didn’t know what divine crystals were."

"If the guardian hadn’t secretly assisted us back then, no one would have become a Dao Lord. I know a lot has changed since then, but I maintain that the same should be true today."

"When the size of the Cave Heaven reaches a particular size, and the law fragments in the Cave Heaven reach a particular quantity, the Supreme Metac will drive the conversion of the Cave Heaven into a Blessed Land."

"This Blessed Land can be anchored to a world with the Supreme Metac to create a Domain in the world. More Domains in a world will dilute the control of Dao Lords over that world."

Golden Sun, tsking in annoyance, said, "Domains will also strengthen the world and help it become a super world. But in the case of a world that is already a super world, the Dao Lords wouldn’t want someone else competing with them for control of the world."

Hearing this, Loki’s eyes lit up, and he said, "So that’s how the Northern Domain, Southern Domain, Eastern Domain, and Western Domain were added."

As he said this, he remembered the outpost mission in which a part of Oceania was stolen by the outpost to become a Domain. This talk of domains gave him the impression that they were related.

Golden Sun nodded and said, "Yes. That’s how all the domains were added. The domains are under the control of the Dao Lords who made them and can be used by those Dao Lords to mobilize the power of the world. The Central Domain is the exception since it is the original Blessed Heaven World."

"Personally, I think the restriction was overkill. After all, Blessed Lands increase the size of a world and make it stronger."

Loki didn’t think the Dao Lords went too far with this description, as he was a big supporter of keeping slaves weak and unable to fight back. But he nodded along with Golden Sun as if he was in agreement with the fallen Dao Lord.

After the explanation, Loki asked, "And what are the requirements for a Blessed Land?"

"It depends on the Supreme Metac, actually," Golden Sun started to say.

But then he asked, "Do you know that there are grades of Supreme Metacs?"

When Loki shook his head, the fallen Dao Lord said, "There are four grades of Supreme Metacs. They are Minor, Major, Grand, and Cosmic Dao. Their quality limits their size and potential."

"Supreme Metacs have three axes, which are x,y, and z. From Minor, Major, Grand, and Cosmic Dao, their sizes are 3,3,1, 5,5,1, 7,7,1, and 9,9,1."

Hearing this, Loki’s action of nodding in understanding immediately became sincere. This time, he was really enlightened, and a lot of questions he had about why some Supreme Metacs had limits on their size were answered.

He still had more questions about limits, but for now he kept his questions to himself. He decided not to interrupt and waited for Golden Sun to finish his explanation.

"This is at rank 9, of course. Their size will begin to change when you become a Dao Lord."

Then he asked Loki, saying, "Any more questions?"

In response, Loki immediately said, "Are you sure that this is all the possibilities?"

As soon as the oath was made, Loki felt that same resonance within him that informed him of the Dao Oath. It was the same one he had when Heavenly Eye made her oath. It was a subtle vibration in the fabric of the world as if to indicate that the world had borne witness to the oath.

Now it was Loki’s turn to be confused. Since Golden Sun had made the oath, the fallen Dao Lord couldn’t be intentionally lying or keeping the truth from him. But he knew that there was another option, and he wanted to know more about this option, so he didn’t give up just yet.

He paused for a while to think about how to rephrase the question. Finally, he said, "Is there a condition that requires 10 billion square kilometers?"
