Chapter 526: Dead
Chapter 526: Dead
Fortunately, that brief change in their features was enough for Virus to doubt and infer there may indeed be someone else behind this entire bullying.
Unfortunately, the two refused to reveal the identity of the individual behind the matter.
Nonetheless, since he was done with the pointless conversation, wanting to end it once and for all, he notified them. "I've had enough of your bullshit, I'm not leaving Inner Ricando because of you two from now on even if you kill me."
Virus was sure if he could deal with these two fools, then, Blaze staying in Inner Ricando would be a natural act without it actually leaving the frame of his overall personality.
Catching his words, however, both of the tall guys' eyes went wide open before they both fell into an uncontrollable peal of laughter.
"Hahahaha, he's saying that again, senior brother Chen."
"Well, let's just awaken him to reality again, junior brother Inin." Said the so-called Chen.
Finished with their sentences, no longer wanting to delay the matter, both Chen and Inin released their energy at the Sublimity Emergence and focused it all on Virus.
When the pressure from two cultivators with a cultivation stage higher than him concentrated on him, Virus' mobility decreased by a noticeable margin.
'They're not newbies in the Sublimity Emergence stage, rather, they are at least in the Second Level of Sublimity Emergence stage.'
One detail Virus had come to be aware of regarding the Liberation and Sublimity Emergence stage was that the difference between them was like that of an ant to an elephant.
While in Liberation, after each level up, more ants would be added to the fray.
But in Sublimity Emergence, with each level up, instead of ants, more elephants would be gathered together.
Hence, the leap of power and energy from Liberation to Sublimity Emergence was so ginormous that the instant one breaks through to Sublimity Emergence, that person is bound to be invincible to all those in Liberation.
Furthermore, with each breakthrough in level, that distinction becomes even greater to the point if it was impossible for a cultivator in Liberation to beat someone in the Sublimity Emergence before, with each substantial progress, that impossibility gets multiplied many times over!
However, in Virus' case, despite being in the Liberation stage, Virus had jumped not only levels but rather a dividing stage to beat those at the very entry-level of the first level of Sublimity Emergence stage, hence achieving the impossible!
Of course, although Virus had just recently broken through to the ninth level of Liberation, he still could not guarantee that he would be able to beat a single individual at the second level of Liberation, not talking about two. That was just how bit the difference was.
If they were still in the first level, be it the early-, mid-, high-, or peak-phase, Virus was confident he would be able to swat them dead just like flies.
In fact, most of the opponents he had defeated or killed before had been in the early phase of the first level of Sublimity Emergence with a few of the stronger ones amongst them being at the higher mid- or high-phase of the first level.
Albeit, seeing his opponents in the second level of Sublimity Emergence, Virus understood the gap was too immense since the multiplication in the second level was at least ten times higher than the first level!
Therefore, completely on guard, Virus had just gone into a defending pose when a silhouette materialized beside him and sent him flying away!
Wham!
Rolling on the surface of the ground, a trail was drawn there until Virus regained his balance and landed on his feet.
Next, entering his time-freeze perception before anything else, taken aback, he discerned a blur at some distance from him.
In case he was incapable of reacting in the following moment, Virus was sure he was going to experience the sensation of a truck hitting him.
Hence, wishing to avoid such a scenario, Virus immediately went into the process of activating his movement technique.
'Unnamed Virus Technique, Third Form – Reinforced Impulse!'
With nearly no delay, arcs of electricity that were much more intense than the ordinary first form covered all over Virus' flesh and nerves, removing several chains that were holding his terrifying mind back at once!
Instantly, Virus could react much faster compared to what was possible to his current body as he quickly moved out of the incoming enemy's path, barely dodging it.
Bam!
Striking his previous position, a huge chunk of the earth was blown away.
"Huh? He dodged?" Inin was shell-shocked and could hardly believe that Blaze had been capable of escaping from one of his assaults.
"You're dead!" Nonetheless, that only made him more enraged as he mustered even more of his energy and charged at him again.
'Unnamed Virus Technique, Third Form – Reinforced Impulse!'
Eluding the first kick, Virus spotted a follow-up punch that was about to connect to his face. Still, finding the best angle to miss the fist, Virus leaned forward and evaded again.
While the two were engaged in a close battle of one attacking and the other fleeing, Virus was just celebrating his success in being able to shake off every single one of the offenses when without any hints, another shadow took shape beside him and smashed his fist right into Virus' left cheek.
Wham!
Chen had joined the battle to finish this game of cat and mouse at once!
With no pause between, taking advantage of the impact that was still thrusting Virus, Chen punched him in the stomach too.
Bam! Pffft!
Forced to puke everything in his stomach outside, like a broken kite, Virus' body was thrust directly into the air before experiencing a free fall!
Bang!
When his physique smashed into the hard ground, gritting his teeth, Virus struggled to rise on his feet without uttering a single yelp of affliction or dissatisfaction at the underhanded interference.
In case it was anyone else in his shoes, that person may have looked down at Chen and Inin's attempt of ganging up on him all of a sudden through a surprise attack.
However, Virus didn't feel they had made a dirty, underhanded, or dishonest move at all. To the opposite, he felt they were worthier combatants than he had initially assumed.
