Chapter 1199: One Of Wilderness Region’s Great Lords [6].

# Alec’s Domain Location.

A minor fracture ruptured in space, and a man stepped out of it, behind him followed two exceptionally tall men, clad entirely in black with ninja masks covering their faces.

“Hmm, it appears the outcome of the battle has already been decided, where could the little lord be, then?” Grumbled the casually dressed man in the center, he extended his mental perception across the entirety of Alec’s kingdom, yet he failed to detect the specific aura signature provided to him by the wilderness king.

“Sigh, what do you think I ought to do, Nyon? I honestly just want to return to my bed and sleep, but the wilderness king tasked me with handling this matter,” the man complained to one of his black-cloaked guards. Meanwhile, the other guard was occupied scanning the battlefield below.

“My lord, I suspect he has already left to eliminate the other human lords who launched the attack against him.” The observing black guard remarked, his gaze fixed on the exact location where the Wyvern had taken off.

A blue, aura-like glow radiated from his eyes as he peered forward. However, the casually dressed man, who had just been whining about wanting to sleep, did not seem pleased that his subordinate had successfully pinpointed Alec’s direction.

At this point, there was absolutely no way for him to ignore Alec’s movements, regardless of how much he wanted to.

Turning toward the other black-clothed guard accompanying him, he slapped his right hand over his face.

"You dimwit, we could have returned to our cozy little spot to sleep by now. Instead, I can’t even go back and tell the king that I tried my best, ugh."

"Open up a rift in space; we are heading straight to those two troublemakers’ territory, they are the only ones powerful and foolish enough to attempt something like this. I would bet you a thousand Origin Essence crystals that is exactly where he is." the man in the center said. While he started out sulking as he addressed his black-cloaked guards, he looked quite ecstatic by the end of his sentence.

"My lord, what makes you think I would want to waste my money on something so glaringly obvious?" the second guard replied with a light chuckle, refusing the bet. "By the way, I believe it is finally time we taught those two a lesson. After all, they have been crossing the line far too many times lately."

"Nah, it’s way too much of a drag," he remarked casually.

"Besides, those other two guys have plenty of energy to help the king clear up this mess. Once I finish this assignment, I’m certain the king won’t bother me for a while." As he spoke, the second black-clothed guard returned, drawing his blade to slash through the mid-air.

The strike effortlessly tore open a rift in space, allowing the man in the center to step right through, while the two other men in black followed closely behind him.

Throughout their entire arrival and departure, neither Titan nor any of the hundreds of onlookers below noticed they were being observed.

As soon as they crossed over, the spatial rift snapped shut behind them.

Meanwhile, the moment Dave cast his spell, a transparent, energy-like sphere composed of time particles expanded outward, centering around him.

Although the sphere was initially tiny, however; upon casting, it swelled exponentially with every passing split second. By the time the lightning axe carrying Butcher barreled directly into it at blinding speed, everything completely reversed.

Moving at a blinding speed initially, the lightning axe suddenly began to drag as if caught in a time freeze, though it wasn’t a complete freeze, but rather resembled Butcher sinking into what looks like a temporal quicksand, severely slowing his movements.

Dave, on the other hand, remained entirely unaffected by the loop he had established, using this advantage he pressed forward, intent on dealing a decisive blow to finish Butcher off.

Seeing Dave advance, a fractured smile emerged on Butcher’s face. Behind him, his ten captain-rank storm knight elementals had already closed the distance, preparing to unleash a conjoined spell.

They wielded swords conjured from lightning that crackled with immense gathered energy, as they simultaneously swung them toward Butcher at the center, as the concentrated lightning converged on his form, the electrical currents enveloping his body surged into a violent overdrive.

Boom!!!

The massive influx of energy supercharging him from all ten elementals was overwhelming. Instead of attempting to contain it, Butcher allowed it to run wild, resulting in a violent explosion.

The spreading electrical currents instantly shattered the time loop, and the powerful shockwave sent Dave reeling backward.

“My turn!”

Dave was still tumbling through the air when Butcher’s voice cut through, his eyes trembled in disbelief; he couldn’t fathom how the golem had managed to cross the distance between them in a mere instant even after being at the center of the overdrive explosion.

He was caught in a disastrous position, because Butcher was perfectly poised to strike him, his right arm pulled back as he gripped his lightning axe which was pulsating with a wild, ferocious lightning energy.

Dave knew immediately that a direct hit from that weapon would inflict devastating harm.

He had mistakenly believed that closing the distance would allow him to make quick work of the golem, completely underestimating the immense surge of power Butcher could achieve when boosted by his minions.

With his mind working at high speed, Dave quickly calculated his options and realized evasion was impossible with the little time frame he had, no matter what action he took currently he won’t be able to complete a spell model, which means he could not avoid being critically injured.

Yet, just as the axe was set to cleave him in two, a wave of familiar energy suddenly surged forward and engulfed him.

His brother’s voice was the last thing he heard before the fabric of time enveloped him, rewinding him to where he had been just before the electrical surge blasted him backward and left him defenseless.

Swoosh!

The lightning energy Butcher had channeled to the tip of his axe surged through the now-empty air, passing through space before exploding in a very loud explosion after travelling a distance away.

David had cast the spell because he could not let his brother be critically injured so swiftly in the beginning of the battle, so he had coated only Dave’s body with his own mana, and he targeted the time rewind specifically on him, returning only him to where he was just a few seconds ago without the lightning axe baring on him or the overdrive explosion happening just him returned back in time unharmed.
