Chapter 1212: New Units.

“Master, don’t worry about it. I believe I can hold this border effectively, so you only need to step in if a true threat emerges,” Titan’s voice resonated in Alec’s mind using voice transmission, while Alec was inwardly questioning whether his preparations were sufficient.

Noticing Alec’s hesitation regarding the size of the reinforcements sent, Connor, who was hovering steadily behind him using his Qi to remain afloat gave out a suggestion,

“My king, I am ready to deploy the Barbarian Soldiers whenever you command.”

Connor’s words served as a prompt for Alec.

“Now that I think about it, it is time to bolster our Barbarian warriors and expand the rest of the kingdom’s specialized forces,” Alec remarked.

He swiftly draw into the air, dragging the already opened army barracks interface that was among the screens he had floating before him, he promptly expanded the Barbarian ranks, doubling their numbers from fifteen hundred to three thousand, not bothering about cost.

He then moved the Archer unit from five hundred up to two thousand, this brought the total force under the command of Connor and the Archer Queen to five thousand soldiers.

Still unsatisfied, Alec turned his attention to the unsummoned specialized unit options available to him, among the various forces present, three stood out to him in particular: the Spartan Infantry, the Heavy Armored Knights, and the All-Cavalry Group.

Without hesitation, he summoned two thousand Spartan infantrymen, two thousand All-Cavalry troops, and one thousand Heavy Armored Knights.

This brought his total force to the ten-thousand warrior capacity allowed by his current city level, with the summons complete, he turned his attention to inspect the newly arrived troops.

The Spartan infantry emerged first after the barbarian warriors and the amazon archers came out. Reminiscent of the movie 300, each warrior stepped forth bearing a round shield, a long spear, and a long crimson cape trailing behind them.

Yet, unlike the film’s portrayal, these Spartan infantrymen appeared to be a distinctly upgraded variant, their spears were forged from steel, displaying sophisticated craftsmanship that marked them as advanced weaponry, complete with a visible trigger mechanism located right where they held the shaft.

At their waists, each Spartan warrior carried a variety of secondary equipment, including swords and ropes, with subtle differences in loadout from soldier to soldier.

Form-fitting light steel armor clad their bodies like sleek attire which would make it easier for them to move without their speed being affected, they also donned helmets topped with vibrant red plumes, exuding an undeniable sense of unity as they emerged from the army barracks.

Alec planned to summon their hero-tier unit later; for now, he patiently waited for the next unit to exit from the barracks.

When the All-Cavalry unit filed out, Alec was thoroughly astonished, although they were organized as a single unit, but it was clearly composed of different cavalry orders.

The vanguard Cavalry wielded long spears and carried firearms slung across their backs, though the firearm models appeared old, however; the quality of the steel used in creating it, made it obvious to Alec that these were far from obsolete weapons.

They also rode mounts resembling hybrid horses, each possessing a Tier 4 bloodline.

Following closely behind came the heavy cavalry order, numbering roughly five hundred, matching the size of the initial cavalry group, which Alec decided to name as the Hybrid Cavalry Order.

True to their name, the heavy cavalry order which followed donned thick armor that guaranteed exceptional defense, rendering these combatants nearly impervious to injury. Beneath each of them was a formidable mount:

a rhino possessing a Tier 5 bloodline.

Seeing them made Alec recall a battle he had once commanded the whole of the Gordons Mage Tier’s in battle, where they smashed through the ranks of numerous second-dimension entities while riding rhino-shaped golems.

These heavy cavalry riders were equipped with heavy weaponry, and trailing behind them came the third cavalry order, whose primary arms were bows.

Mounted on demonic beast horses boasting Tier 4 bloodlines too, they also carried an assortment of ranged secondary equipment, including heavy bows, crossbows, boomerangs, and throwing daggers, with only a select few carrying a kukri blade at their waist.

Alec promptly dubbed them the Archer Cavalry.

The final cavalry order appeared thoroughly disorganized, resembling a bandit band far more than a disciplined military unit. However, according to the system notification, they were unmatched as elite scout cavalry, and thieves; thus, Alec simply designated them as the Scout Cavalry.

They were mounted on a distinct variant of Tier 4 demonic beast horses.

Having inspected these four groups that collectively formed the unit, he turned his attention toward the final group of summoned warriors.

As they began exiting the army barracks, Alec struggled to discern whether they were ordinary humans or half-giants, because each soldier stood roughly seven feet tall, clad in heavy armor, and wielded massive weapons that gave them an immensely imposing appearance.

With these new forces assembled, Alec finally felt prepared to transition to the next phase: launching a counteroffensive.

Before proceeding, he summoned their respective heroes. The hero of the Spartan infantry was King Leon the First, though Alec chose to refer to him simply as Leon the First.

The Cavalry Hero went by the title Unbreakable, a name Alec recognized as a title, yet found imposing nonetheless.

He was mounted upon a massive, mutated horse with a Tier 6 bloodline while wielding a heavy polearm; he pretty much resembled an ancient Chinese general with the way he carried himself.

The final hero was named Fortress, his face concealed entirely behind a massive visor.

Upon being summoned, all three heroes dropped to one knee and pledged their fealty to Alec, given the urgency of the situation, Alec accepted their allegiance immediately.

With no time to waste on lengthy introductions, he handed a spatial ring to Connor, trusting him to bring the new arrivals up to speed.

Stored inside the spatial ring were countless cultivation pills he had accumulated over time, just one of the few space rings he had been saving up, the newly summoned captains could use these resources to reach their peak strength to match Connor and The Amazon Archer Queen’s current realm, while the remaining pills could be distributed among their troops.

Though insufficient to supply everyone, but it was still more than enough to double their overall combat power, after dismissing them, Alec drew the screen displaying the surging Zerg swarm over to his middle just as Titan was preparing to launch his defensive battle.
