Chapter 493: The Empress

Kai was taken to the throne room, where he came face to face with the empress. She was a tall, beautiful woman with long black hair and golden eyes. She wore what looked like a black Hanfu with golden designs on it, her breasts were very large, and she had a Guzheng by her side.

There was a line in front of Kai, those who were here to be personally punished or freed by the Empress herself.

Up next was a woman who clearly looked like a bandit of some sort, forced to her knees with an angry expression.

"It says in the report that you demanded a toll from a merchant. Once that toll was paid, you still slaughtered the women there, stole all the goods, and had your way with the men whom you captured instead of killing. Tell me, what punishment do you think is appropriate for your actions?"

The queen’s voice was powerful, absolute, and her stare, that cold stare, made her questions stab whoever faced her in the heart.

"I did nothing wrong, bitch! They challenged me to a fight! Since I didn’t start the fight, it’s their fault for being too weak to do anything about it!" The bandit woman shouted.

"Is that so. Going off your logic, since you just disrespected me in my own throne room, I’m justified in killing you, and if you can’t defend yourself, then that’s your fault, right?" The Empress asked

"Heh, take off these Ki restraining cuffs and let’s so who’ll come out on top."

The empress was not impressed, nor was she interested. However, her eye spotted some of the other prisoners in line smiling as if they hoped the Empress would lose.

A slight chuckle escaped her mouth, and she waved her hand. "Release her."

"Yes, your Majesty." The guard released the bandit woman, and she immediately went after the empress.

"You’re going to regret challenging me, you stuck-up bitch!" The bandit woman held up her index and middle fingers, multiple swords made out of Ki appearing behind her back. She then pointed her fingers forward, and the swords went after the empress.

Instead of moving, not even flinching, the empress blocked the attack with ease by just releasing her Ki.

It was intense. So intense that most of the people in the room couldn’t withstand her energy pressing against their bodies.

’What in the actual fuck?! S-She’s a demigod!’ Kai didn’t notice it when he laid his eyes on her, but after actually looking at her with his divine sight, he noticed that she was a demigod.

’Heh, that woman stood no chance!’ Kai laughed, cause he was like that as well.

"Nngh!"

"Still think that I can’t do anything?" The Empress asked

"P-Please, have mer—" The bandit’s upper half was removed in a flash, killed by the empress before anyone could even notice.

"Damn!" Kai blurted out loud by accident. He wasn’t expecting the empress to just kill her like that, and he saw the whole thing as it happened since he was actually stronger than the Empress.

"Who spoke?" The empress asked, looking annoyed.

"Sorry about that. I was just caught off guard by that. Heh, pretty sick. In a good way, not in a bad way." Kai gave her a thumbs-up

The empress looked at him as if he had lost his mind. "Do not speak unless spoken to, do you understand?"

"Got it. Lips are sealed. Ziiiip!" He acted like he zipped his mouth shut.

The empress looked at her guard with an expression that said ’Who the fuck is this guy?’

The remaining people were given their sentence relatively quickly. After the show, the empress put on for everyone, the criminals weren’t eager to get on her bad side.

"Now, on to you...Kai LuForia." She read his file, the squinted. "It says here that you can use Ki? Is that true?"

"Yes. I’m pretty good with it as well." Kai looked proud.

The Empress looked threatened, but also interested. She was also captivated by his handsomeness. "Is that so?"

"It is." Kai nodded.

"Care to demonstrate?"

"Sure." Kai broke out of the Ki restraining cuffs, removed the chain from his chest, then showcased his magic.

He used multiple types of it as well. Elemental, summoning, enchantments, runes, and even showed off what he could do with raw mana.

It was safe to say that everyone was stunned, and a lot of the women felt threatened by his abilities.

"You...are powerful." The Empress said, shifting in her seat, getting very, very, very uncomfortable.

"Thank you! You’re really strong as well. I love strong women."

The empress smiled. "I’m sure you do." She then got out of her throne and made her way to Kai to see if she could subdue him and make him her servant, but before she could do anything, both she and Kai were teleported to a divine realm.

"Stop. Don’t mess with him, Telia." An unfamiliar voice called out to both of them.

"Mother? Why did you summon me here?" The empress asked

"What?! Is your mother really the god of this land? That’s cheating!" Kai huffed.

"You’re one to talk, son of the progenitor." A beautiful woman with blonde hair in the form of a braid appeared before both of them.

"S-Son of the Progenitor?" Telia, the empress, stared at Kai in complete shock.

"Great. Thanks for ruining my cover. She was about to do something to me and would have been shocked to find out that she couldn’t because I’m a god." Kai summoned a seat and sat down.

"You’re the son of the progenitor?!" It seemed that Telia’s brain wasn’t braining at the moment.

"Yes. Nice to meet you. I’m Kai. But you already know that. Also, wanna join my harem and have my kid?"

Telia was taken aback by his bluntness and didn’t know how to respond. But after thinking about it for a second, she noticed that it was a good deal. Not only was Kai a god, but he was also the son of the progenitor. This meant that she would be a part of his family.

"Okay." She responded with a nod.

"Wow. That’s it?"

"Yeah. I laid everything on the table, and there are only gains. I have nothing to lose. Besides, I was planning on making you my servant because when I looked at you, I started to get wet, and I wanted to make you mine. So, this works out anyway."

Kai liked her already. "Say less. Also, your personality change is really crazy. One moment you’re cold and cruel. The next moment, you’re a fun person. Ha!"

"Just wait and see how good I am in bed."

"Yeah, it’s time for you to get pregnant. Fuck my rules." Kai picked her up and was about to leave before the goddess stopped him.

"Wait! Kai. I have something to speak to you about."

"Right." He put Telia down. "Sorry, dear, it seems that I have to watch the cutscene for my side quest now."

"Cutscene?"

"Don’t worry about it."
