Chapter 507: Hey look, my demon friends

"This is the final outpost. Once we destroy this one, the tide of the war will change." Yorrigan cold taste victory as it was almost in her grasp.

"Sweet. Let’s get this over with then." Kai was about to light the whole place on fire when Yorrigan stopped him.

"Wait, don’t destroy the place mindlessly as you did the others."

He raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"I have a friend who’s trapped there."

He frowned. "A man?"

"No, a woman. And why? Would that make you jealous?" She grinned

"Heh, no. Why would I be jealous of a man whom I can just erase from existence if I wanted?" Kai wasn’t even jealous of some of his girls who had husbands prior to him taking them away from them.

Over the past two years, he made sure to have his girls who were married previously cut off their former spouses. They all belonged to him...respectfully.

"Wow. You’re really taking advantage of your status as god, huh?"

"What? That’s...oh, I am a god, huh? I forgot about that. I wasn’t talking about that." Kai simply meant that he would just hypnotize her to forget the guy ever existed.

Yorrigan looked at him with a confused expression. "Anyway, we need to sneak in there to rescue her. If they even get wind of our presence, they’ll kill her. I know this because we tried to rescue some of my other companions, and they killed them when they spotted us."

"Don’t worry, I got this." Kai jumped down the cliffside they were on and landed in front of the outpost.

"Is he fucking crazy?!" Yorrigan nearly lost her mind.

"I’ve only known the guy for the past few days, and I already knew that he was crazy. Did your sisters not tell you how he is?" Telia wondered

"They did, but I didn’t think he’d be this crazy! He’s gonna get my friend killed at this point!"

"Let’s just trust him, okay?"

"Ughhh! Whatever!"

Kai walked over to the entrance of the outpost with a happy look on his face, waving to the demons on guard duty.

"Hey, man! How’s it going? How are the wife and kids?"

The demon looked at Kai and then at his partner. "You know this kid?"

"No clue at all."

"Hey, human brat, who are you?" The demon asked. He had blue skin.

"What? It’s me, Kai! We’ve met over dinner before."

The blue demon raised an eyebrow. "We have?"

"Yeah. And you introduced me to your wife and kids."

The partner, a red demon, suddenly spoke up. "Hey, I do remember a human being at your house the other day."

"During the party?"

"Yeah, it was during the party."

"Oh, man. I was super drunk that day. Sorry, pal, but I don’t remember who you are."

"Really? Maybe this will jog your memory." Kai’s eyes glowed red, and he hypnotized the two of them.

"Ohhh! Kai! Hahaha! What’s going on, you little bugger! Sorry, I didn’t recognize you at first."

"Haha, it’s okay. You been well, bro?"

"Oh yeah. I’ve been great! The kids are doing fine as well."

"That’s good. What about you, bro?" Kai asked the red demon.

"Yeah, I couldn’t have asked for a better life right now!"

"That’s what’s up. Hey, I’m about to head into the outpost to hang out. Is that okay?"

"Make yourself at him, pal."

"Thanks."

From afar, Telia and Yorrigan couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Kai casually walked into the base, greeting the demons and becoming friends with them. They talked about life and other bullshit like that. He even drank with them and won every contest.

After the contest, he told them all that he had to get back to work and was going into the dungeon. Of course, no one stopped him and showed him where the dungeon was.

There were a lot of demons down there, and Kai had no idea who he was looking for.

"Ahem. I’m looking for a female demon who’s friends with Yorrigan. She sent me here to rescue you, whoever you are."

He had no idea why he asked that question because all of the female demons started telling him that they were the friend he was looking for.

One ugly-looking demon even grabbed his shirt from inside the cell and demanded that he free her.

Kai was so scared by how ugly she was that he accidentally killed her on instinct.

"Jeez! I thought I was going to fucking die! Don’t scare me like that!" His raging heart calmed down, and he simply summoned Yorrigan and Telia.

"Look, Yorrigan, you can only choose one friend from the store, okay? Only one. I can only afford one for now."

"Bitch, are you acting like we’re at the store right now?"

"Maybe."

"Yorri?" A woman asked

"Blessa!" Yorrigan ran to the cell where her friend was and pried it open, freeing her.

"You came back for me." Blessa smiled, hugging her friend.

"Of course I did! I wouldn’t leave you behind!"

Blessa nodded, then turned her attention to Kai.

"Who’s the handsome human?"

"He’s Kai, the friend my sisters told us about. He’s also a god."

"Oh, that friend. Mmm, he’s making me wet."

"And you’re not too bad yourself, Blessa. I’ll consider adding you to my harem. I have a habit of impregnating every woman I like, and I already have 36 daughters, so I want to hold off having more kids for now. That child support bill is through the roof. Thank God I never had twins or triplets." Then he remembered something else.

"Fuck! I have 25 more kids in Astalith! God dammit! I need to contact Skaradrel and her assistants! Fuck, how many kids is that? Shit! That’s 61 kids! I’m fucked!"

"What’s his problem?" Blessa asked.

"No idea. Let’s just get out of here. Kai, lead the way."

Kai led the way out of the outpost, deciding to walk out as if nothing was wrong.

None of the demons stopped him, and they actually waved him goodbye. It was unfortunate that he had to part with his good friends, but such was life.

"Now, everyone, kill yourselves." Kai clapped his hands, and all of the demons in the camp, who were hypnotized by him, killed themselves.

"What the fuck?!"
