Chapter 590: One of the Seven Orders, the Order of Life

"I found you, Nolan Lorian!"

Nolan froze in shock, stopping in his tracks, then quickly retreated twenty steps.

Boom!

An explosion erupted where he had just been standing. A green dragon appeared, terrifying in its sheer presence.

Its wings stretched wide, and its body towered ten meters high.

Two horns jutted from its head, and its sharp fangs sent a shiver down anyone’s spine.

"A dragon!? How can there be a dragon here?" Kaede shouted, fear in her voice.

It was the first time she had seen such a massive dragon up close. From its aura, it was clear the creature was incredibly powerful—perhaps on par with, or even stronger than, a country-level monster.

Nolan carefully lowered Kaede from his arms and pulled her back.

Yet he showed no fear. His face remained calm as he stared at the dragon before him.

On the dragon’s head stood a man in a green cloak. Tall and slightly muscular, his face was hidden behind a leaf-shaped mask.

Even at a glance, Nolan could sense the man’s extraordinary power.

"Who are you?" Nolan asked coldly.

The man descended from the dragon’s head, floating gracefully before landing with poise.

They were thirty meters apart, allowing Nolan to clearly see his appearance, which he found rather strange—especially the leaf-shaped mask.

"My name? You don’t need to know. What matters is that you die today. I promised someone I would make it happen," the man said playfully.

Nolan paused, then let out a soft chuckle.

"Let me guess. It’s Ryuusei, isn’t it?"

The man remained silent, and the quiet only made Nolan’s guess feel more certain.

’Ryuusei? So he caused all this chaos just to kill Nolan?’ Kaede’s eyes widened in disbelief.

She gazed blankly at the chaos surrounding her.

The once-beautiful city of Hinode lay in ruins, destroyed in less than an hour—a testament to the sheer terror of the monsters’ attack.

And all of it, it seemed, had been done just to kill Nolan. The thought made Kaede’s chest tighten with pain.

"You don’t want to answer? Fine, I understand. But surely you made a promise to him, right? Perhaps to make him the new Eastern Emperor," Nolan teased lightly.

This time, the man couldn’t remain silent. Shock radiated from behind his leaf-shaped mask.

Even with his face hidden, his body language confirmed Nolan’s guess.

"Surprised by my words? Well, it was too easy, honestly," Nolan chuckled softly, calm and unshaken. "Since you came to kill me, I won’t stop you. But the question is..."

A faint smile curved his lips. "Are you capable?"

The man was silent for a few seconds, then laughed loudly.

"Hahaha! Nolan Lorian... you truly are unique. I underestimated your courage."

He clenched his fist, a faint green light gathering in his palm as he bent his knees.

"Do you think you have the ability? You’re just a useless trash prince!"

Whoosh!

In an instant, he vanished and reappeared right in front of Nolan, fist raised, aimed squarely at his face.

"Die!"

"Nolan!" Kaede panicked, trying to pull him away, but Nolan held her firmly with his left hand.

Boom!

A powerful explosion erupted, sending a shockwave in all directions.

Kaede covered her face with both arms as her hair clip came loose, her hair whipping wildly backward.

When the shockwave subsided, she quickly raised her head to check on her nephew.

The sight stunned her. The masked man’s fist was blocked by Nolan’s right palm.

"What? How is that possible!?" the man exclaimed in horror.

Unfortunately, Nolan gave him no time to react. Releasing his hold on Kaede, he spun around and drove a kick straight into the man’s chest.

The man’s body shot away like a cannonball, crashing through hundreds of buildings before finally slamming into one of the largest hotels, which was already in ruins.

Kaede’s mouth fell open at the sight.

"Nolan, you..."

She was about to speak, but Nolan immediately cut her off.

"There’s no time, Auntie. Head west. Many soldiers are coming to exterminate the monsters," he said firmly.

Kaede wanted to ask, "How do you know?"

But she realized that doing so would only be foolish and selfish.

She gave a heavy nod. "Okay, I understand. Be careful."

After that, she turned and ran in the direction Nolan had pointed.

Watching her leave, Nolan smiled faintly. Now there was nothing left to hold him back from unleashing his full power.

Boom!

An explosion echoed from the front as the masked man shot into the sky, his appearance disheveled.

"Nolan Lorian, you really hid your strength," he said with a grin. "Amazing... I’ve been completely fooled by you!"

Nolan’s kick was overwhelmingly powerful. The man hadn’t even been able to follow his movements.

That proved one thing—Nolan was incredibly strong and had been hiding his true power all this time.

The title of "trash prince" he had carried for years was nothing but nonsense.

Nolan didn’t deny it. He stretched lazily and said, "So what if that’s the case?"

His irritating demeanor made the corners of the man’s mouth twitch. However, he no longer rushed to attack like before.

Slowly descending, he landed twenty meters away and said, "Your strength and potential are extraordinary. How about joining me?"

Nolan froze. He stared at the man as if looking at a fool and asked in disbelief, "Join you? What are you talking about?"

The man smiled and introduced himself.

"I am the Order of Life, one of the Seven Orders. We are the most powerful organization, and our goal is to defeat the Singularities and replace them. What do you think?"

He extended his right hand toward Nolan, enthusiasm burning in his eyes.

The Seven Orders had endured for centuries, concealed beneath the overwhelming presence of the Seven Singularities.

But now, they were ready to reveal themselves to the world and declare war on the Singularities.

All they needed was momentum—and the destruction of Hinode City would serve as that signal.

It would mark their emergence into the world.

Nolan possessed extraordinary power. Even he, as the Order of Life, had been shaken by Nolan’s attack.

If the leader knew about his decision, the Order of Life was certain he would be pleased.

Unfortunately, he failed to notice that Nolan’s expression had turned gloomy.

"So, you’re one of the Seven Orders the old man was talking about, huh?"

Nolan lifted his head slightly, a sinister smile spreading across his face as he rubbed his fists together.

"What a coincidence. I’ve been wanting to meet you and finish you off as soon as possible. Who would’ve thought one of you would show up here?"

The Order of Life was stunned by his words. Before he could react, Nolan suddenly vanished, as if he had slipped through space itself.

In the next instant, he appeared right in front of him, pulling back his left fist before driving it straight at the man’s mask.

"You bastard... die!"

Boom!
