Chapter 591: Nolan vs. Order of Life (1)

Chapter 591: Nolan vs. Order of Life (1)

Boom!

Nolan’s fist slammed into the man’s mask, sending him flying hundreds of meters away.

Without hesitation, Nolan bent his knees, vanished from his spot, and reappeared directly above his opponent.

Spinning midair, he unleashed a horizontal tornado kick that struck the man’s right side.

His body was hurled back once more, but Nolan gave him no chance to recover.

Ten consecutive blows rained down mercilessly. After the final strike, Nolan paused in the air for a brief moment before slowly descending to the ground.

The Order of Life lay helpless among the ruins of a collapsed building.

His mask had shattered, revealing a middle-aged face half-burned. His left eye was gone, and his right eye was a dull gray.

He didn’t move, as if dead. But in the next second, a green light burst from his body.

At the same time, his wounds healed at an astonishing speed.

"Nolan Lorian!"

Boom!

A voice full of hatred thundered as he leaped into the sky, gasping for breath.

Pointing at Nolan, he shouted angrily, "How dare you... how dare you attack me out of the blue!? I won’t forgive you, you bastard!"

The air swelled, the sky darkened, and blue lightning exploded, creating a terrifying scene.

However, Nolan remained composed.

He raised his middle finger and taunted, "Don’t talk so much, you bastard! Come on!"

Provoked beyond reason, the Order of Life finally lost his patience and charged forward at extraordinary speed.

Boom!

The fist wrapped in green light was stopped by Nolan’s palm. Even so, the impact was devastating.

The ground behind Nolan was lifted into the air, and the surrounding ruins were blasted in all directions.

Refusing to give up, the Order of Life spun around and kicked toward the right side of Nolan’s face.

Nolan raised his left hand and blocked it. The two were now locked in a brutal close-range battle.

Each strike carried tremendous destructive power. The longer the Order of Life fought, the more terrified he became.

Nolan was supposed to be nothing more than an ordinary prince. If he had managed to land a hit earlier, it must have been because he caught him off guard.

But now, they were fighting head-on. Every one of the Order of Life’s powerful attacks was easily blocked.

Suddenly, Nolan shifted from defense to offense. He grabbed the Order of Life’s fist and crushed it.

The sound of bones cracking rang out clearly, followed by a spray of green blood.

Nolan didn’t stop there. His left fist, now wrapped in silver light, drove straight into the man’s stomach.

The Order of Life’s body hung in the air for a brief second before being launched backward at incredible speed.

His speed was so extreme that it created a massive air blast.

It felt as if the punch had torn through space itself.

Boom!

His body finally came to a halt after slamming into the capital’s wall with tremendous force.

Smoke billowed, obscuring the view. When it cleared, the pitiful figure of the Order of Life was revealed.

His cloak was torn apart, exposing his bloodied and bruised body.

"Ugh..."

A weak groan escaped his lips as he slowly lifted his heavy head.

"This kid... who is he? Why is he so strong?"

He had never received any information that Nolan possessed such strength.

This was clearly a fatal mistake by the organization responsible for recording the capabilities of each imperial and royal family across the continent.

Buzz!

A green light spread across his body, and his wounds began healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

’What an incredibly fast recovery,’ Nolan muttered in awe.

As the Singularity of Life, Seria embodied life itself, making her, in theory, impossible to kill.

Her regenerative ability was the highest among the Singularities. Even if her head were severed, she could reattach it in the next second.

So Nolan wasn’t surprised that the man before him, who possessed powers similar to that elf woman, was extremely difficult to kill.

"Nolan Lorian, do you think you’ve won?" The Order of Life mocked with a smirk. Slowly, he rose to his feet and stared at Nolan coldly. "You’ve declared war on the Seven Orders. You’ve taken a suicidal step!"

He intended to intimidate Nolan. Unfortunately, Nolan remained calm and indifferent.

"So? Do you think I’ll be afraid? Too bad—that won’t happen. On the contrary, I want to meet your leader and kill him right now," he replied, his voice filled with explosive killing intent.

The Order of Life was startled and unconsciously took a few steps back.

"Arrogant! In the name of the Seven Orders, I will kill you!"

With that, he lunged at Nolan.

Nolan didn’t flinch. He pulled his left leg back, then shot forward to meet him.

"Die!"

The Order of Life raised his left fist and slammed it down toward Nolan.

Nolan did the same. When their fists collided, a massive explosion erupted, spreading for nearly a kilometer.

...

"Hah... Hah... Hah..."

Kaede ran breathlessly, occasionally glancing back to check on Nolan.

Unfortunately, the ruins blocked her view. She could only sob as she wiped away the tears streaming down her face.

"Nolan... don’t die. Wait for me," she said hoarsely.

Although Nolan was strong, the mysterious man was terrifying. She wasn’t sure he could win.

If Nolan were hurt—let alone killed—Kaede would never forgive herself.

Awoo!

A sudden howl echoed from beside her.

Kaede gasped and turned her head, only to see a wolf-like monster charging at her with its jaws wide open.

"Danger!"

In a panic, she stopped abruptly and threw herself to the side.

The monster’s attack missed, but her body still ached from the fall.

Gritting her teeth, she forced herself to stand and run again. The wolf stared at her for a moment before chasing after her once more.

"Please... please... don’t let me die... Sun God, save me," she prayed silently, her eyes tightly shut.

Suddenly, her foot caught on a stone, and she fell, rolling forward several times.

A soft groan escaped her lips as she struggled to get back up.

When she lifted her head, the wolf stood right in front of her, saliva dripping from the corner of its mouth.

A deep sense of fear overwhelmed her as she whispered, ’Am I going to die?’

Awoo!

Just as the monster was about to pounce—and Kaede thought it was the end—a slash descended from above, splitting the wolf’s body in two.

Kaede stared in shock as a man landed gracefully in front of her, a black katana in his hand.

"Are you all right, Princess?" he asked softly, turning to look at her.

His face was handsome, carrying a captivating aura of maturity.

He was Toji—the leader of the Eastern Izanagi Empire’s knight order.

"Uncle Toji? Thank goodness you came. Otherwise, I don’t know what would’ve happened to me." Kaede let out a deep breath and smiled in relief.

Toji smiled back and helped her to her feet.

"How did you end up here?" Toji asked curiously.

Kaede gave a wry smile and briefly explained everything.

Toji listened carefully, and when she finished, he finally understood the situation.

"So that’s how it is. Alright, you’re safe now. Let’s return to the palace first."

"Wait!" Kaede quickly stopped him. "Nolan... Nolan is still in danger! Please save him!"
