The Hidden Extra: The Lazy Prince Refuses to Ascend The Throne

Chapter 594: Post-Chaos Resolution

Chapter 594: Post-Chaos Resolution

Nolan turned to look at the corpse of the Order of Life before him and sank into thought.

Although the man was severely injured and his life force sealed, he could not truly die.

After all, his power was nothing more than a copy of the Singularity of Life, Seria.

No matter how hard Nolan tried to kill him, it was impossible.

Except for one way...

Nolan smiled faintly. He snapped his fingers, and instantly, a black hole the size of a human body appeared beside him.

He directed it at the body of the Order of Life, beginning to draw it in.

A black hole, by definition, erased all existence in this universe—or at least, that was what he had learned.

So no matter how strong the Order of Life’s vitality, if swallowed by the black hole, he would surely die forever.

Once the task was done, Nolan stood and disappeared from the spot.

Boom!

Arnold threw a red energy ball at Alvas.

Caught off guard, Alvas was immediately pushed back, and his body was torn apart by the blast. Black smoke billowed upward, clearly revealing his lifeless form.

"Is it over?"

Nolan appeared beside Arnold.

"Yes, Master. He is dead," Arnold replied respectfully.

"Good. Thank you for your help."

"You’re welcome, Master. Your wish is my command."

Then Arnold’s body dissolved into particles of light and slowly vanished.

Nolan was about to leave when a voice filled with admiration rang out from below.

"Singularity of Chaos!"

Nolan was taken aback. When he turned toward the voice, he saw Evalyn staring at him, her eyes sparkling.

"Is that you!? Can I have your signature!?"

Without hesitation, Evalyn leapt into the air and flew straight toward him.

Panic surged through Nolan. He hadn’t changed his clothes yet. If Evalyn saw him like this, his identity as the Singularity of Chaos would surely be revealed.

Without a second thought, he sliced through the space beside him and vanished from view.

Evalyn froze in shock. She hadn’t expected the Singularity of Chaos to vanish just like that.

"What happened? Why did he run away from me?" she muttered, scratching her head.

No matter how hard she thought, she couldn’t find a reasonable explanation.

In the end, all she could do was grumble in frustration. She idolized the Singularity of Chaos—especially his ability to summon that strange black sphere that absorbed everything around it.

She had wanted to get his signature and show it off to her father, Nolan, Elina, and everyone in the capital.

But instead, the figure had run away the moment she approached.

"I’m so annoyed! Ugh! What an unlucky day!"

She stamped her foot in frustration, then paused, recalling the Singularity of Chaos’s appearance earlier.

"The black robe he was wearing just now... wasn’t it similar to Nolan’s? Could I have seen it wrong?"

With the death of the Order of Life and the monsters that had attacked, the imperial palace took measures to address the disaster.

Ryuuten allocated two billion Koze in cash for the reconstruction of the destroyed city.

It was an extraordinary sum, but not truly enough. Even so, it was only the beginning. The imperial palace planned two more stages of funding: three billion Koze, followed by another two billion.

Those who had been hiding in the underground fortress were finally able to emerge and help rebuild the city of Hinode.

Food and clothing aid also arrived from other cities, and the three great clans donated hundreds of millions of Koze to show their support and sympathy for Hinode.

Nolan, understanding the intricacies of the human heart, knew their intentions were not entirely pure. There had to be a hidden motive.

After all, the three great clans had once been independent powers before being conquered and made subordinates of the Taira clan, which now ruled the Eastern Izanagi Empire.

Even so, Nolan didn’t dwell on it. He trusted that his grandfather understood the imperial situation far better than he did.

Meanwhile, Ryuusei—the cause of the chaos—had been captured and would face severe punishment.

His status as first prince was officially revoked, and he lost all the privileges he had once enjoyed.

Unsurprisingly, some ministers opposed Ryuuten’s decision.

Some argued that revoking Ryuusei’s status could affect the empire’s political future, while others feared it might spark social chaos and destabilize the realm.

All of their reasons were clichés, and Nolan knew they were nonsense.

It was fortunate that Ryuuten had only stripped him of his title as prince—he had not executed him on the spot.

If Nolan were in Ryuuten’s place, he would have killed Ryuusei immediately. There was no point in keeping such a useless son around, except to invite endless problems.

But what could he do? His grandfather was too soft-hearted—a weakness no emperor of a great empire like Izanagi should have.

Ryuusei would serve ten years in prison and then be exiled.

"How did it come to this? Why did I lose?"

In his prison cell, Ryuusei scratched his head in despair.

His once majestic and arrogant demeanor had vanished, replaced by a pitiful, disheveled appearance.

At first, he had believed the Order of Life’s plan would lead him to the throne, as promised.

But that had not happened. Everything had failed, and now he was branded a traitor.

His status and privileges had been completely revoked by his father.

He was nothing more than a former prince, with no hope of ever becoming emperor.

"If only I hadn’t accepted that man’s offer... none of this would have happened! Argh!" Ryuusei roared, punching the wall in front of him.

The pain from the blow made him groan, but he barely noticed. Losing everything was far more excruciating than any physical pain in the world.

"This cannot be allowed... I won’t accept this!"

Ryuusei’s eyes burned with hatred.

"The throne should belong to me alone—not Kaede, not Yuki, and certainly not that damn kid! I am the firstborn, the first prince—the throne is mine!"

A faint red aura suddenly flared from his body, spreading in all directions.

"I didn’t expect you to fall this low, Your Highness... though perhaps calling you that is no longer fitting. After all, you’ve lost all your rights. Am I correct?"

Ryuusei was shocked. When he turned his head, he saw a young man with glasses walking toward him with a smile on his face.

The man was tall and handsome, with long brown hair that fell past his shoulders.

He wore a black hat tilted back, and his eyes were black and slightly slanted.

Ryuusei immediately recognized him—the head of one of the three largest clans, Inuyasha Takeda.

"What do you want?" Ryuusei asked, his tone cold and wary.

Inuyasha’s thin smile remained as he spoke evenly, "Don’t be so cautious, Ryuusei Taira. I came to propose an alliance. What do you say?"
