The Hidden Extra: The Lazy Prince Refuses to Ascend The Throne

Chapter 655: The One Who Controls Everything

Chapter 655: The One Who Controls Everything

"So this is the First Prince of the Ancient Kingdom of Eron? How amusing. He’s actually trying to rape his own fiancée. If everyone in the capital saw this, what do you think would happen? It would be quite a spectacle, wouldn’t it?"

Aldrian’s eyes widened at those words. He turned and saw a tall, dark-haired man casually strolling in, holding a thumb-sized stone.

"Nolan?" Aldrian froze and stammered. "How did you get here?"

Nolan slipped the stone into his pocket and closed the door behind him.

"Why am I here, you ask? Pfft! That’s not important, Aldrian. What matters is... what are you planning to do to my sister? Are you trying to rape her?"

His voice rose, and his gaze sharpened. A faint pressure radiated from his body, making Aldrian tremble.

Aldrian’s breath caught, and without thinking, he stepped back a few paces.

"D-Don’t get the wrong idea! How could I possibly do that?" he stammered stiffly. "I was just... I was just helping Seira rest. She looked exhausted after dinner with me."

"Oh? Is that so?" Nolan pretended to believe him. "Then why were you taking off your top?"

He pointed at Aldrian’s completely exposed torso.

Aldrian smiled awkwardly. He was about to explain, but Nolan suddenly appeared right in front of him. He clenched his fist and punched Aldrian straight in the face.

Caught off guard, Aldrian was sent flying backward, slamming hard into the bedroom wall.

The blow was so powerful that even the thick wall cracked and nearly caved in.

Aldrian groaned in pain. His spine felt like it had snapped, and the back of his neck throbbed unbearably.

"Argh... argh... it hurts..." he groaned, tears streaming down his face.

He wanted to hold back his sobs, but he couldn’t. His throat felt tight, and suddenly, he coughed up blood.

His head spun, and his breathing grew weaker. With great effort, he lifted his head and glared at Nolan with hatred and rage.

"How dare you... how dare you do this to me!? You’re courting death, Nolan Lorian!"

That outburst seemed to drain the last of his strength. He gasped for breath as cold sweat drenched his back and neck.

He never expected Nolan to attack him like this.

He was the First Prince—the Crown Prince. How could Nolan dare lay a hand on him?

It was no different from seeking death. Now, all he had to do was wait for help to arrive. Once they came, he would report Nolan’s actions to his father.

"Why should I be afraid?" Nolan snorted as he stepped closer. "From the start, you’re the one who crossed the line, Aldrian. You touched what you shouldn’t have touched."

He stopped in front of him, then kicked the right side of Aldrian’s face.

Aldrian was thrown to the side, and the pain that already consumed him intensified.

Clutching his face, he growled, "It’s over... You’re finished! No matter who you are, I’ll report this to my father and have you sentenced to death!"

From the very beginning, he had hated Nolan intensely. That man received Seira’s attention and affection, while he received none.

Aldrian knew Nolan was Seira’s younger brother, but he didn’t care.

Seira belonged to him, and no one else was allowed to have her affection—not even Nolan.

And now, the chance to make Nolan disappear had presented itself, and he wasn’t going to let it slip away.

"Still threatening me, huh? Is that all you’ve got? No wonder your siblings hate you so much. You’re such a coward and a good-for-nothing."

Nolan kicked Aldrian again, leaving him completely helpless.

Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a recording device.

"Remember—I recorded everything, including how you brought my sister to this inn. Do you really think you’ve won, Aldrian? From the very beginning, you were already defeated."

He played the recording. It showed Aldrian secretly pouring a potion into Seira’s drink, then continued all the way to the moment she fainted and Aldrian carried her away.

The footage was so clear and perfectly timed that it felt as if someone else had been watching from inside the room.

Aldrian’s swollen face turned pale as he watched.

"You... you did this!?" he cried out in panic.

"Who else but me?" Nolan chuckled softly. "I really don’t understand how someone can have such a small brain."

He crouched in front of Aldrian and slapped the left side of his face.

"Think about it—you stabbed my sister, yet she didn’t leave the palace right away. She also didn’t report it to your parents. Do you really think she’s so stupid that she wouldn’t have done those things?"

Aldrian’s breath caught, and his eyes widened in fear. Now that he thought about it, he had clearly overlooked the details Nolan had pointed out.

Fueled by that mysterious voice, he had nearly killed Seira. Logically, she should have held a grudge—or even reported him to Gulvar and Melody.

But none of that had happened. Seira hadn’t done a single thing.

In fact, she had never even mentioned returning to the Great Velmora Empire, something that had made Aldrian feel incredibly happy at the time.

That happiness had blinded him, making him forget that what he had done to Seira was cruel and unforgivable.

And just this afternoon, Seira accepted his invitation to dinner without hesitation.

The entire sequence of events felt too perfect, almost impossible to happen without someone pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Aldrian stared at Nolan in horror, then asked in a voice filled with hatred, "So everything... you did it?"

"Bingo!" Nolan clapped his hands, then slapped Aldrian’s face again. "Yes, I did it. Turns out you’re not completely stupid. At least your IQ is still higher than a monkey’s."

Hearing those insults, Aldrian seethed with rage. His chest felt tight, but he didn’t dare attack Nolan.

Aside from being completely powerless, the fact that Nolan had orchestrated everything from the shadows truly terrified him.

The prince he had always considered weak, cowardly, and worthless turned out to be the one pulling the strings behind the scenes to bring him down.

"Let’s be honest, Aldrian. You really do have an extraordinary talent for bootlicking. Do you know you’re just like a dog? If you don’t even know what a dog is, it’s an animal that loves licking its owner’s feet."

Nolan smirked and patted Aldrian’s right cheek.

"And that’s exactly what you are. So it’s no wonder you were brought down this easily. If only you’d used your brain, even just a little, you wouldn’t have fallen this fast."

Aldrian’s status was exceptionally high. He was born with privileges that most people in this world could never possess.

If only he were a little more ruthless and prioritized ambition over love, he could have become a powerful figure in the future.

Moreover, he had the Void Reaver Disc inside him. Becoming a mighty king of the Southern Continent was not an impossible feat.

Unfortunately, love had blinded him. He abandoned his ambition for the sake of what he called "childhood love."

Frankly, Nolan felt a bit sorry for him. If it weren’t for his sister’s hatred toward him, Nolan wouldn’t have minded accepting Aldrian as his brother-in-law.

But in this world, there were no "what-ifs." So he and Aldrian could only remain enemies.

"Alright..." Nolan stood up and looked at him calmly. "Now, I’m going to kill you. Do you have anything else to say?"
