Chapter 825: Revealing the True Identity
Chapter 825: Revealing the True Identity
"Congratulations, Sharon. You did a great job," Seira said as she stepped inside.
Rafine followed behind her.
Sharon, who had been chatting casually with her friends, quickly wrapped up the conversation and walked over to them.
"Thanks for the compliment, Sis. I only won because I’m way stronger than Jisha. That’s all."
Seira chuckled softly. She ruffled Sharon’s hair and said with a hint of exasperation, "Why do you always act so humble? You’re talented and strong. That’s the truth."
Sharon simply smiled, enjoying the warmth of her touch.
"Congratulations, Your Highness," Rafine said with a smile. "You’re so talented. You really deserve first place."
"Pfft! Thanks, Rafine!" Sharon said with a grin.
The three continued talking. After a while Sharon noticed that two people were missing.
"Where are Nolan and Eira?" she asked curiously.
"They’re both still in the audience. Nolan didn’t want to come," Seira replied casually.
"That’s so mean. His older sister just won the match. Shouldn’t he be praising me?" Sharon complained.
Seira giggled. "It’s okay. He’ll come over to you later. You know he’s shy, right?"
Sharon smiled again.
"You’re right..."

The garden where Nolan and Sylvia sat was calm and quiet. A gentle breeze drifted in from the south, ruffling Nolan’s slightly long hair.
He sat there in silence, occasionally glancing at Sylvia, who remained lost in thought.
Several minutes passed, yet Sylvia stayed silent with her head lowered.
Nolan didn’t mind. From the beginning, he had expected her to react this way. After all, learning that he was the Singularity of Chaos was an incredibly shocking revelation.
Forget Sylvia—even if Nolan revealed his identity to Seira, Sharon, Rafine, and the people closest to him, they would surely be even more shocked.
Suddenly, Sylvia lifted her head. The dazed look on her face had vanished, replaced by a determined expression.
"Can you prove it, Nolan?"
Nolan nodded. But first, he had to make sure their surroundings were completely secure.
With a wave of his hand, he sealed off the space within a five-meter radius.
Nolan slowly stood up, opened his palm, and a mask appeared in his hand.
The moment Sylvia saw the mask, all her doubts vanished like dust carried away by the wind.
Her eyes widened, and her heart skipped a beat. But those reactions lasted only a moment before relief washed over her.
"What do you think?"
Nolan gave the mask a slight shake before putting it on. In an instant, his demeanor and aura changed completely, making him seem like an entirely different person.
"I believe you," she replied weakly. "So, all this time, you’ve been hiding your identity, haven’t you?"
A sigh escaped Sylvia’s lips. Strangely, aside from that brief moment of shock, she felt no other emotional turmoil.
It was completely unlike her, considering how much she idolized the Singularity of Chaos.
A few seconds later, she understood why.
It was only natural. Back then, she had no memories of her childhood. Everything was so hazy that she could only remember a few random moments.
The first time she saw a picture of the Singularity of Chaos, she had been inexplicably drawn to him.
The reason? Wasn’t it obvious?
His back and posture reminded her of Nolan, who appeared in those fragmented childhood memories.
However, because she couldn’t remember Nolan’s face or appearance, she unconsciously associated those memories with the Singularity of Chaos, whose posture resembled Nolan’s.
Nolan removed the mask and smiled at her.
"Have your doubts disappeared?"
Sylvia nodded weakly. She removed the blindfold, revealing eyes as beautiful as the moon on a clear night.
She kept her eyes on Nolan, as if afraid he would disappear.
"Singularity of Chaos—no, Brother Nolan, may I ask one more thing of you?" she said.
Nolan was slightly startled by the way she addressed him, but he didn’t dwell on it and simply gave a brief nod.
"Of course."
Sylvia took a deep breath before walking toward him and stopping right in front of him.
Nolan was confused by her behavior and was about to ask what was wrong, but Sylvia hugged him tightly before he could.
"You jerk... Do you have any idea how painful it was to wait without knowing what you looked like? I’ve been in agony for thousands of years!" she whimpered.
The Leader of the Tower of Silence, who always appeared elegant and as cold as ice, now looked so fragile.
Nolan remained calm. He didn’t tease her or do anything like that. Instead, he returned Sylvia’s embrace.
"I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for any of this to happen, but the situation forced me to. After all, I’m not from a thousand years ago. I wasn’t supposed to stay there for too long," he said gently.
Sylvia tightened her embrace as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Her memories of Nolan were gradually becoming clearer. Back then, Sylvia had been a student who was discriminated against by many of her classmates.
Although she was a student of one of the Great Sages, that didn’t spare her from being bullied.
Day after day, the other students looked at her with nothing but disgust and hostility.
During that time, Sylvia felt deeply hurt and depressed. She hadn’t done anything wrong, so why did they hate her?
Was it simply because she was an elf?
Just when she was at her lowest, Nolan came to support her. Sylvia still remembered it clearly. Thanks to his help, she became the person she was today.
The two embraced for several minutes before finally letting go.
Sylvia looked reluctant. She wanted to hold Nolan a little longer but was too shy to admit it.
Nolan handed her a handkerchief.
Sylvia accepted it and wiped away the remaining tears.
"By the way, can you get all the materials I asked for?" Nolan asked.
Sylvia put the handkerchief away and gave a slight nod.
"I can. But it won’t be easy."
A hint of helplessness crossed her face.
"The materials you asked for are extremely rare. Even if I manage to gather them, it’s bound to cause disputes with the other high-ranking officials."
Although Sylvia was the master of the Tower of Silence, that didn’t mean she could do whatever she wanted.
Many restrictions bound her, and some of the Tower of Silence’s higher-ups were dissatisfied with her leadership.
Nolan fell silent for a moment. Then, he reached into his pocket and handed her a black token.
"If you use this token, what are the chances you can get everything ready within a month?"
Sylvia stared at the token in surprise.
"This token..."
"Sage Orrun gave it to me. He said I’d need it someday," Nolan said with a soft chuckle.
Sylvia accepted the token and clutched it tightly.
"One hundred percent... I’m absolutely certain I can gather all the materials!"
Nolan nodded in satisfaction.
"Great. I’d appreciate your help, Sylvia."
"Don’t worry, Brother Nolan. I’ll get everything ready," Sylvia said with confidence.
Nolan smiled and softly ruffled her hair.
Sylvia closed her eyes, quietly savoring his touch.
What Sylvia didn’t know was that Nolan had a far greater plan behind gathering those materials.
"One week..." he whispered, his gaze fixed on the blue sky above. "In one week, I’ll return to my home world and see you again... my dear Seira. Wait for me..."
