Queenie and her sisters tried to rush to his side; however, King Alric stopped them. "Relax, ladies, he has just consumed the blood essence of a god who had lived for millions of years; there is bound to be some pain involved."

"It is okay, he will pull through," Queen Leah stepped in. "While it may not look like it, the blood essence he has consumed contains a slight amount of Supreme Qi. I am sure that is the reason for the pain."
They sighed; however, as Klaus clutched his head and screamed, they grew worried.
Meanwhile, Goddess Nivara sat before Klaus with a clenched fist. Her cultivation base had drained to the Awakened stage, making her no different from a mortal.
She had none of her previous strength left.

Klaus let a grin form on the corner of his lips. This sight made his grandma smile, too. It seems her grandson is out of danger. However, she still held his hand and continued to wait for him to finish.
