The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1606: Primordial Forbidden Flame Spirits

Chapter 1606: Primordial Forbidden Flame Spirits

The roar of a dragon filled the air, and with it came a terrifying pressure filled with extreme flame qi, the kind that forced even Klaus and his incarnations to tremble.

BOOOM

The cocoon exploded, and a 500-meter-long orange flame dragon with white patterns along its body flew into the air, increasing the already terrifying pressure and forcing everyone to drop to their knees.

The sheer disbelief on the faces of Klaus and his incarnations clearly showed that none of them expected things to take such a dreadful turn.

If only they were aware that on the outside, Rhazor’s body had also started releasing waves of deadly pressure, the kind that even Supremes would struggle against. In fact, the six Calamity Beast Guards were all on their knees.

Nirvana circled through the air, every flap of her wings sending terrible pressure crashing down on everyone.

“ROARRRRR!”

She let out a thunderous roar, so overwhelming that even Rhazor, who possessed the Calamity Roar skill, felt like a bug beneath it.

None of them had any idea what Primordial Flame Spirits were like or what they were capable of, so this was a first. However, from what they had seen and experienced, it was clear to them that they might have underestimated the power of Primordial Flame Spirits.

Klaus waved his hand, and everyone was pulled back, appearing several miles away from the four cocoons. If this were the real world, none of them would have been able to move even a finger.

But this was Klaus’s soul sea, so he merely willed it, and they moved away.

Only then did they breathe a sigh of relief.

However, just as they began to relax, with the pressure having lessened, the second cocoon cracked and then exploded, revealing a white flame dragon.

Fury roared loudly and rose into the air, causing the pressure that had lessened to increase once more. Then, as though the pressure had never reduced at all, every last one of them felt their bodies tense.

Klaus moved them even farther back, but when the third cocoon exploded, and a crimson phoenix flew into the air, the pressure increased again.

“This is ridiculous.”

Klaus muttered as he moved them farther back now that the pressure, after Void had appeared, seemed to have increased once again.

Then the fourth cocoon exploded, and a black-and-red flame Qilin emerged, neighing as it glided across the space to join its friends.

The four beasts moved around for several minutes before returning to the ground. In the distance, Klaus and his incarnations, along with the elemental spirits, finally calmed down and began observing the four flame spirits more closely.

Just when all four flame spirits landed, they transformed into humanoid forms.

Nirvana, just like before, still had long orange hair and a well-developed body. She had a pair of orange eyes and a shape that showed she was now a fully grown lady. If the aura around her had been that of a teenager before, now she had become an adult, despite looking like she was in her early twenties.

She had a pair of golden-orange horns on her forehead and was clad in an elegant gown made of white and blue fabric. She had become a beauty beyond measure, and that alone was enough to show that the Chaotic Nirvana Forbidden Flame had become something else.

Beside her, Void also stood, clad in a similar gown but with red patterns woven into it. Since her true form was a phoenix, she possessed the aura of a phoenix as well as that of the Void Incineration Forbidden Flame.

Her hair and eyes were crimson as usual, and compared to Nirvana, she had a much broader figure. She had no horns, but two pairs of phoenix wings spread wide behind her, making her look like a phoenix angel.

Fury now looked like a sage from the distant past. His white hair flowed all the way down his back, contrasting perfectly with his pale skin.

However, he appeared much taller than before, and his build had become far more refined and slightly toned. He possessed a pair of white eyes and white horns, and even the cloak draped over his body was pure white.

Naturally, the only thing that seemed different was the red boots he wore. Aside from them, he was white through and through.

As for Qilin, he was perhaps the most mysterious of them all. His hair was a blend of black and red, but the true mystery lay in his eyes. His left eye was red while his right eye was black.

However, when the nature of those eyes was put into perspective, it meant that his nature as a flame embodying both creation and destruction had already become a thing of the past.

Now, it seemed Qilin had taken on Destruction, represented by the red eye, and Death, represented by the black one. It looked terrifying, and even from several thousand miles away, Klaus and everyone gathered could sense the danger radiating from him.

He looked much more muscular than Fury, and instead of a cloak, he was clad in a pair of black leather trousers and a red open jacket. A thin chain connected one half of the jacket to the other, making him look both fierce and deadly.

Clearly, being the Primordial Desolation Forbidden Flame made him a bit more dangerous than his siblings. But for the quiet one in the group, he looks more badass than they all.

When he was given this Forbidden Flame back when he traveled to the Forbidden Universe, he had been warned that if one day he saw the flame leaning too heavily toward destruction, he should put an end to it.

However, a Paragon whose life hung by a thread clearly needed all the destruction he could get. So he allowed Qilin to keep growing, and now it appeared that he had become a menace.

Klaus understood that all four of them had become Extreme-Rank Forbidden Flames. However, they were also Primordial Flame Spirits now, so seeing them as mere flame spirits would be a gross understatement.

The moment they took their human forms, they sat in the lotus position and summoned the Lotus of Destruction. Then, under everyone’s stunned gaze, they started improving the technique they had created just a few weeks ago.

Already, the lotus had two layers: Perfect Harmony and Absolute. However, before adding the third layer, Extreme, they first decided to improve the first two layers.

Klaus blinked a few times before summoning the system interface to see what they were doing. What he saw shocked him.

The process did not stop there. However, with the sudden level-up, Klaus sensed that the Divine Lotus of Destruction’s destructive output had increased by at least 200%.

And as it continued to rise, that percentage seemed to increase as well. In fact, the process was moving so fast that before long, everything changed completely.

“This is unreal,” Klaus muttered, his expression filled with shock.
