Chapter 1607: First Paragon God Ascension – Flame & Blood Path (1)

The notifications continued to flood the system interface at an astonishing pace.

Because Klaus and his incarnations could access the messages wherever they were, all seven of them could see what was happening in real time.

Every time the Primordial Lotus of Destruction improved, they were notified. However, even without the system messages, their connection to the flame elements allowed them to sense the terrifying power of the Primordial Lotus of Destruction and the flames themselves.

None of them had any idea how any of this was possible, but considering they knew nothing about Primordial Flame Spirits, it was only natural that they were ignorant.

However, one thing was certain: whatever was happening was far from over.

The four Primordial Flame Spirits remained seated in silence, their eyes closed as countless flame runes danced around them.

The orange, white, crimson, and black flames intertwined with one another, forming an ever-expanding sea of fire that engulfed the lotus.

The first layer, Perfect Harmony, underwent a complete transformation.

The once-beautiful petals became far more intricate, each one covered in billions of microscopic primordial runes that pulsed with ancient power.

The second layer, Absolute, experienced an even greater change.

The petals became thicker, larger, and far denser than before. Every single petal radiated an aura capable of erasing worlds.

Yet none of the four Flame Spirits showed any intention of stopping.

If, before they ranked up to the Extreme rank and evolved into Primordial Flame Spirits, the power of the Absolute petals could kill gods, then after this upgrade, they could kill Supremes. Basically, Klaus was even afraid of how devastating this Lotus would become.

He was happy, of course. However, when it came to the destructive power of the Primordial Lotus of Destruction, even he was afraid.

But as if the four Primordial Flame Spirits wanted to add more to Klaus’s already overflowing shock, their hands moved simultaneously.

One rune after another appeared before them.

Billions.

Trillions.

An endless stream of hand seals continuously merged into the lotus, refining it at a speed that even Klaus’s Omniscient Jade Eyes struggled to follow.

His initial estimate was thrown out the window, knowing full well that what he was seeing now was beyond his current comprehension.

“What kind of comprehension speed is this?”

Even with his thousands of minds, he could not help but mutter those words.

Rhazor smiled upon hearing what Klaus said.

“It appears Primordial Flame Spirits have more secrets than we can ever imagine. In fact, they are existences that we know nothing about.

Just look at them. If not because they grew up from mere flames, none of us would even know all four of them are Flame Spirits. This should tell you that we know nothing about them, and so whatever they are doing now is beyond our understanding.”

Asura took over. “Years back, many believed Flame Spirits could not even take on humanoid forms, but look at them. They are the first of their kind, even surpassing Elementals. So instead of asking how, just ask what they are.”

Klaus shook his head, and a pale smile formed on his face. “I suppose we will understand what is happening when they—”

Klaus paused, and his eyes narrowed.

At the same time, his six incarnations also showed similar expressions. Suddenly, a smile formed on Rhazor’s face.

“It is happening,” he muttered, almost jumping up and down.

His incarnations nodded, and then they smiled as well.

“Good luck,” Klaus said, placing his hand on Rhazor’s shoulder.

Rhazor nodded. Then, with a wave to everyone, he stepped outside, where Hanna stood waiting for him. Seeing him open his eyes, Hanna smiled and reached for his hand to help him stand up.

“I never expected you to step into the God Ascension Realm this fast, Klaus,” she said, her voice filled with both shock and joy.

She and her sisters had finally left Planet Akouba with Blood Shadow, or as they now called her by her real name, Kalynda, and headed toward the Beast Universe when she felt a sudden pull.

The next second, she found herself standing beside Klaus’s incarnation, Rhazor.

The first thing she did was inform her sisters that she was fine and with Klaus. However, before they could get into anything serious, Rhazor opened his eyes.

Klaus’s wives had already decided to threaten all his incarnations. While things like sex could only be done with the main body, in their eyes, all of him was the same person.

So they called all his incarnations Klaus.

Rhazor smiled. “I also never expected things to be this way, but I guess here we are now. It is time to open one of the Paragon Stars and then activate the Trial of Ascension.”

Hanna nodded. She was one of the Nine Star Lights, who, in truth, were the keys that would one day unlock the Paragon Stars.

For reasons Klaus and his incarnations could not comprehend, though they knew it had something to do with the four Primordial Flame Spirits, he had now stepped into the God Ascension Realm, where he would take the Trial of Ascension.

He was a Paragon, so his Ascension Trial would be determined by the Paragon Stars.

“Are you ready?” Hanna asked, and Rhazor nodded.

“More than ready. With what is coming and what must be done, it is only right that some of my incarnations become gods.”

“Very well.” Hanna stepped forward and clapped her hands together in a prayer posture. “I will open the Ascension Temple to the Fourth Paragon Star, which I represent.

You will have to pick the path you will walk and then enter the trial. Remember, you have to reach at least the tenth layer for the trial to be considered passed.”

Rhazor nodded. “Go ahead.”

Hanna nodded, then started muttering. A few seconds later, a beautiful red gate opened three meters away from them, and waves of Star Qi started pouring out.

“The Star Gate will remain open for as long as you are inside the trial. Once you are done, you will be brought back. Since you have yet to find all the other Star Lights, we cannot access the Paragon Stars fully just yet.”

Rhazor nodded and walked toward the red gate.

Before he could step in, his six Calamity Beast Guards appeared.

“Good luck, Master,” Lyrius, the Grim Wolf Monarch, said, while the others nodded toward Rhazor.

“Thanks, guys. I will be right back,” Rhazor said with a smile before stepping through the portal.

Hanna looked at the six deadly beasts standing before her, and a smile formed on her face.

“Do you guys want to spar?”

Considering Hanna was now a Supreme, the six Universal God-level beasts tensed when she asked. However, knowing she was one of their master’s wives, they nodded and, with a wave, appeared on the second floor of the Inheritance Tower.

Meanwhile, back on the first floor, Hanna remained where she was. She even summoned a chair and sat down. As someone who had inherited the 10,000 Divine Lightning Body, now that she had become a Supreme, each body she created was akin to a True Supreme.

So she merely sent one such divine lightning body over to spar with the six Calamity Beasts while her main body remained behind, waiting for Rhazor to return as a god.
