The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1738: Dao Manifestation Ritual

Chapter 1738: Dao Manifestation Ritual

The moment Kaden gave the order, Namariona formed a series of hand seals, manifesting a large purple diagram bearing dozens of nodes.

Kaden reached forward and picked one node, and with a clench of his fist, the node exploded, causing a star formation to appear. Inside this formation, millions of stars filled the sky.

Everyone standing within the star formation felt like they were connected to at least one of the stars.

King Xzeth, who had already awakened his Dao, even felt a resonance with one of the stars, and he actually managed to track it.

“Is that…”

“Yes, it is your Star Dao Key. If I wish, I can now access and use it to mess with your Dao. Of course, that is easier said than done. Since you don’t have my blood in you, I can do as much as study it to have a better understanding of your Dao so I can better counter it.”

King Xzeth could only look at Kaden as if he were staring at a monster.

The last thing anyone wanted was for someone else to know the root of their Dao. In fact, it was forbidden to even access someone else’s Dao, even if they were your trusted ally.

Kaden just did it like it was the most normal thing a person could ever do.

“Don’t sweat yourself, King Xzeth. I have no need to investigate your Dao since you are not my enemy. If I wanted to, I would have masked your Star Dao Key, preventing you from noticing it in the first place.”

He laughed and waved his hand, causing three Star Dao Keys to move and appear on his palm. Afterwards, he waved his hand again, and the Star Dao formation vanished, leaving only the three Star Dao Keys he had taken.

“Aria, you are first.” Kaden used his finger to separate one of the Star Dao Keys from the other two.

Aria, who would be the first to experience what possessing a Dao felt like, smiled and stepped to the side.

Kaden didn’t waste anyone’s time and began the process immediately. He formed a hand seal, and when a small formation appeared, he pointed it at Aria’s Star Dao Key.

BOOOM

Waves of bone-chilling ice exploded out of Aria’s body, causing a pillar of ice to rise into the air, separating the clouds.

At once, the ice in the air crystallized. But it didn’t stop there. As it spread far and wide, one could tell reality itself seemed to be affected by the ice.

“This feeling…” King Xzeth muttered, examining the frost that had started covering his arm. “This ice feels like it is from the family of the Eternal Frost Monarchs.”

The Eternal Frost Monarchs are rumoured to be the true embodiment of True Ice. From the unknown records, they were portrayed as the progenitors of the Ice element.

They are beings born from the Primal Ice force itself.

As long as one can tell, those with such an affinity can only be found in the Universe Ocean, and they existed during the first and second reincarnation cycles.

In all of the universe’s history, only three people have ever awakened that form of Ice, one of them being himself, and the others already lost to history.

Kaden nodded, “It is indeed an Eternal Frost Dao awakening. However, Aria is special since she herself is an elemental. The one she is awakening is the Eternal Genesis Frost Maiden Dao.”

Kaden forms a few more hand seals and then points at Aria, who had fallen into some form of suspended animation. A beam of light flew from his finger and merged with her forehead.

Just as it did, a majestic figure that looked just like Aria but much bigger and otherworldly appeared before her, holding a giant ice staff.

The ice in the air grew even more chilling for a few more seconds before it died down.

Aria opened her eyes and turned to face the Dao Manifestation of the Ice Maiden behind her. A smile formed on her face, for she could feel the power coursing through her body.

“This is awesome,” she muttered, feeling that if she fought the likes of the Blood Savage, she would be able to hold her own.

“I dont know if I can later help you achieve higher manifestation, but for now, you can make do with what you have,”

“Thank you, Kaden. But this is more than enough for now. Later, I will work hard to achieve higher manifestations.” Aria is happy, and Kaden is elated as well.

Next, he helped Stella, who also awakened and manifested the True Infinite Flame Princess Dao. She also grew more powerful and extremely dreadful. When they return to the main universe, there is no doubt they would rank ahead of their sisters.

But then again, Kaden would just awaken their Dao and the Dao of everyone else, as long as they are Supreme and above.

Nova awakened the True Storm Sovereign Dao, making her someone whose control over the lightning is second to none.

By the time Kaden was done, everyone present felt as if they were staring at the impossible. Not only had he awakened the dao of three people in less than 30 minutes, but he had also manifested them.

Now, while they may come off as the simplest thing, the truth of the matter is that, when it comes to the Dao, even Primordials don’t have much say.

It is hard to see a Primordial who has manifested their Dao. The few who had done that are all below the 5% stage. But even they are considered the greatest geniuses in the universe.

King Xzeth once met such a person during his travels across the Elemental Garden, and he knew just how dreadful they were.

Now, witnessing Kaden casually awaken and manifest the dao of his three wives left him speechless.

In the end, it was Queen Harxix who spoke, “I don’t want to pry into your secrets, but mind telling me what it would take to drink your blood?”

Her question was what everyone, including King Xzeth, wanted to ask, since they knew it was a requirement to manifest their dao.

Kaden smiled and turned to Pickle Berry, who wore a smile.

“Really simple, by drinking my blood, you will become one with the Paragon,”
