Chapter 1740: Elemental Legion, Unlocked
Chapter 1740: Elemental Legion, Unlocked
To be frank, Kaden never expected the Third Ant Ancestor, Maneli, to be the first to accept what he was offering. Well, he wasn’t offering, more like making everyone aware of what he was capable of.
But since he knew where he was going with it, he might as well treat it as an offer.
Naturally, being asked by a Primordial to take his blood came as a shock.
While Maneli isn’t as strong as King Xzeth, he is still a Primordial, an existence that can harness the power of the Origin Dao and use it to shape reality. His power is beyond anything the Primus Universe can handle.
If he joins him, then there is no telling the kind of power Kaden will unlock.
“Maneli, are you perhaps asking this because you wish to be stronger than me?” King Xzeth asked, looking at the Third Ant Ancestor, whom he had interacted with many times in the past and knew was perhaps very cunning when it came to things power-related.
Maneli just smiled and replied, “Not everything is about power, Xzeth. Sometimes, you just take a leap of faith and allow the rest to take care of itself.
“That said, the last I checked, I’m growing stronger, which works well for me. Who knows, I might just become the strongest Primordial in all of the Elemental Garden.”
King Xzeth smirked. “You can only dream. After all, I have no plans to let you become stronger than me, even if for just a moment.”
He turned and looked at Kaden. “My daughter…” He paused, looked at Pickle Berry, then at Namariona. “Well, my daughters seem to trust you, so I will trust you and accept your blood. If all works well for me, give it to the rest of my family and a selected few before you give it to this ant.”
King Xzeth only wanted to be strong enough to stop Maneli in case he turned his claws on Kaden after he got what he wanted.
Maneli smirked, but he didn’t argue.
He had his own reasons for wanting to accept Kaden’s blood, so whether he got it first or last, he didn’t really care much.
Kaden smiled and nodded. “In that case…” He flicked his hand, and a golden blood essence appeared. “Here you go, King Xzeth.”
It flew and landed on his palm. Then, taking a good look at it, he sighed and placed it in his mouth.
A wave of power flowed into his body, causing him to sit in a lotus posture and start to meditate.
Kaden waved his hand, and they were all teleported away. He had never evolved a Primordial before, so he didn’t know what would happen when King Xzeth’s evolution started.
Luckily, nothing alarming happened on the first day. King Xzeth just sat there, his eyes closed.
Of course, one could tell that even just by sitting there, his aura kept climbing, causing the space around him to grow unstable.
Five days later, just when everyone thought nothing would happen, a sudden beam exploded from his body, separating the clouds. Then, from the clouds, a terrifying power came crashing down.
“Shit…” The Demon Bead appeared in an instant, and before anyone could blink, everyone vanished inside. Kaden put it away and, turning to the side, saw that every last living soul in Dunsil City had frozen in place.
There was no ice in the air or on the ground, but he knew they were frozen due to the ice element. That is a bit strange…
“Damn, just what kind of Elemental Dao is he manifesting?” Kaden muttered, already aware of what was happening.
The only way this could happen was if the Dao was in play, and since King Xzeth had already awakened his Dao, it meant he was manifesting it.
Icon appeared in her humanoid form and sat on Kaden’s shoulder. “I think he is awakening at least an Eternal Grade Elemental Dao Master.”
Kaden turned and looked at Icon. “Eternal Grade? Are there grades to Daos?” This was his first time hearing something like this.
Icon nodded. “Apparently, yes. I received the information from the version of me that I think directed us here. There are five grades of Dao. The first and most basic one is the Primordial Dao; it is what almost everyone awakens to.
“The next is the Eternal Dao, which, judging from the information I have, this man is awakening. It is far stronger than the Primordial Dao, and anyone bearing such a Dao is destined to rise beyond the Primordial Stage.”
Kaden nodded, already aware that there were realms above the Celestial Stage.
“The third is the Universal Dao, which is also stronger than the Eternal Dao. The fourth, which I am sure you already have a guess at, is the Origin Dao. This is the stage where one reaches a level where even the Dao cannot determine one’s destiny.
“But there is one more: the Primal Dao. I have little to no information on this, so I can only say that this Dao is one that not many have experienced. But it exists.”
Kaden nodded. “This means there is a chance our enemies have also discovered this information and have people bearing such Daos.”
“That is possible, but we will have to focus on what we know now and think about what is to come when it does.”
Kaden nodded and turned back to King Xzeth, who had already risen into the air, a large clock hanging behind him.
“Interesting, his Dao has something to do with the Law of Time,” Icon said with a smile. “It is rare to see people manifest a Dao that contains the Law of Time.”
“He is lucky then,” Kaden smiled, but he knew things were far from over. He could sense it; the four elements King Xzeth had an affinity for were yet to awaken, meaning his Time Dao would soon be undergoing a profound mutation.
“This is awesome,” he laughed, and then he was about to tell Icon something when a message appeared before him…
