Chapter 1184: Body-Rebuilding Magical Plants

After Empyrean Scarletsea emptied her tears, Vaan continued to hold her in silent comfort for an extended period. No words were needed between them; just a sense of each other’s existence brought them comfort.

Eventually, Empyrean Scarletsea calmed down and found peace.

"I’m not the man you once loved, but I am him, nonetheless. We can’t go back to that time, the way we used to, but if you are still willing, we can walk the path of cultivation together once more and find our lost happiness."

"I’m willing! Of course, I am willing! Do you think you can get rid of me? My love has never waned or changed! I’m stuck with you for life!"

Empyrean Scarletsea slapped Vaan’s chest with a firm answer, but shortly after, she sighed with hesitation.

"I’m happy that you are thinking of me, but I am fine with just being able to be near you. I don’t need any recognition or attention. After all, I am just an old soul now; I can’t give you any physical comfort," Empyrean Scarletsea stated.

"Moreover, I am an Empyrean God, who has lived for billions of years, while you are currently a young lad in his twenties. How can I compete with all of your young lovers? What would they think of me?"

"I don’t want others to think of me as a cradle snatcher or an old cow that eats young grass," Empyrean Scarletsea said.

Vaan smiled with amusement after hearing her concerns about the current age difference and her lack of a physical body. The former issue didn’t concern him, while the latter could be fixed.

If they were to compare age, he could be considered far more advanced in soul age than Empyrean Scarletsea. The disparity was simply so immense that it wasn’t worth comparing.

Thus, the true old cow eating young grass should be him instead of Empyrean Scarletsea.

Of course, Vaan didn’t intend to argue with Empyrean Scarletsea on this point. It did not make him look good.

Who would want to be called an old cow who eats young grass?

"Your concerns are unfounded, Scarlett. I have several different types of heavenly resources that can resolve your physical body right now."

After all, who would dare badmouth an Empyrean God?

"Quite a few good choices actually." Vaan smiled before taking out a transparent crystal container.

Within it was a supreme lotus with petals resembling translucent human flesh. Veins of multicolored light ran through them, containing immense medicinal energy of the five elements.

"This one is a Rank 9 Heavenly Rebirth Lotus, a supreme lotus born from the intersection of yin and yang. An ordinary Rank 6 Heavenly Rebirth Lotus takes a few thousand years to grow, but this one took a million years to reach its level of potency."

"You only need to merge your soul into the lotus core before the petals dissolve and reconstruct themselves into a new divine body that is fully compatible with your soul."

"Although I have Heavenly Rebirth Lotuses of lower quality, this is the best one I have obtained. With it, you can gain a divine body comparable to Divine Lord-level Body Refiners upon completion of rebuilding the body."

"However, the overall process will take about three years," Vaan stated.

Shortly after, he took out another heavenly plant, a strange, azure-colored fruit shaped like a sealed womb, with web-like veins covering its surface, pulsating with power and a strong life force, almost as if it were alive.

"This one is called the Heaven-Earth Embryo Fruit, also a Rank 9 Magical Plant," Vaan introduced the new heavenly resource.

Empyrean Scarletsea pondered for a moment before replying, "Each magical plant has its pros and cons. The Nine-Cycle Rebirth Ginseng and Heaven-Earth Embryo Fruit seems to have the best potential."

"However, they either have a low starting point or great demand for resources to nurture."

"On the other hand, the Heavenly Rebirth Lotus has a high starting point but a long period of gestation... This is certainly a hard choice."

Empyrean Scarletsea frowned in thought.

"If none of them satisfies you, then don’t force yourself to pick one. Once I reach the Grand Unity Human Clan and make a name for myself, I’ll have access to even more resources. By then, I might come across better heavenly resources for body rebuilding," Vaan calmly said.

When Empyrean Scarletsea heard this, she bit her lips, thinking even harder on a decision regarding the three existing choices.

The three magical plants for body rebuilding were actually very good. It was clear to her that Vaan had carefully chosen them for her. Thus, any one of them would have been suitable for her.

However, she couldn’t decide which of the three was best suited for their current situation.
