Chapter 1003: We’re Jumping Back Into Battle Royale

I felt a little self conscious so I quickly pulled my pants back up, "Ok, that’s enough."

She jerked slightly, as though she was snapped out of a trance when my manhood disappeared from her sight.

I was worried she might actually demand to see it again but...

She shuddered visibly before standing back up, though her gaze lingered at my crotch for a moment before she finally looked back up at me.

"Mmm... Ahem... Please forget about that, Tera... Umm... Anyway! I... I think I know what I need to do now!"

"What do you mean? You wanted a collab, right? Though I’m questioning why you even need to see my dick for that..."

I raised an eyebrow, "Right... So... Err... What is the collab about? You’ve yet to tell me..."

She clasped her hands together excitedly, "For now, how about we just do a short collab stream where we both jump in as a pair in a battle royale?!"

I turned to eye the VR capsules at the side of the room, "Whose stream will this go up on?"

She hopped on the spot excitedly, "Ohh!! So you agree?! Yippee! Ah!! I mean... We can both stream! But umm... I will have to ask that you mute my voice in your stream since... You know? And I will mute yours as well unless you don’t want to..."

I nodded, "You’re still keeping your identity secret, right? Could I just ask why?"

She poked her fingers together, "Ehe... Ehehe... I’m... I’m a little shy..."

I blinked at her, shifting my gaze to the bed at the other side of the room where I already know for a fact that she records videos of sex toy reviews and she actually films herself using them with her face blurred out.

She noticed my gaze and gasped, which I think she only just realised that her other streaming alias was in full view and I probably knew that she had another type of content under her career.

I gave a slight nod, "Your handle is literally there in that neon sign after all..."

"Ah... Umm... That... That is just my hobby... Umm... Yeah... You... You... Ah!! Anyway!! How about it? A battle royale collab?!" She asked, trying to change the topic.

For someone who was almost pressing her face against my crotch just a minute ago to act so innocent and embarrassed just because I found out about her erotic stream... I don’t even know how I should react to that.

I decided to just let it pass and help her out by accepting the change in topic.

We split up as she went over to her big monitor while I took out my Codex to give my girls a call. Specifically, I was calling Vier.

The call was answered after two rings and the screen popped up to show Vier standing in what looked like some kind of holding cell. The kind of place where you might expect to find criminals.

I almost had a heart attack thinking they got arrested until I heard Amber’s laughter in the background and what sounded like the cries of that overseer guy.

"Ahahaha!! What’s this?! Just this much?! Scream louder! Fucking bastard! Ahahahaha!!"

"No... Please... Please... Forgive me... AARRRGHHHH!!!!"

Vier looked up for a moment before moving somewhere, the sound of a door closing behind her cutting out the screams and laughter before she addressed me.

"Tera. Do you need something? How is your meeting with SonicSlayer? Were there any problems?"

"Everything’s fine here. Are things... Fine over there?"

"Of course, Tera. Everything’s just fine," She answered a little too quickly with a rather unnerving smile.

I decided to ignore it and just get to the point of my call, "Well... So... I already said that SonicSlayer wanted to collab right?"

She nodded, "Yes, Tera. When and where? What is the content of the collab? Does he already have a contract prepared for the collab?"

Funny that they’re still thinking SonicSlayer’s a guy when the reality was completely different. Not that I have anything to say since I was in the same shoes.

I cleared my throat, "Ahem... He wants to collab right now, actually. And we’re doing a collab in that battle royale game that I played the last time. Would that be fine?"

She blinked at me for a moment, "An impromptu collab? Is he announcing it to his viewers?"

I turned to look at the giant screen that Patricia was manipulating where she was typing out a very clear message announcing she was streaming in a few moments with a special guest as a collab.

I turned back and nodded at the screen, "He is."

"Where will the game be streamed?"

"We will each stream our own gameplay but our voices will be muted, so viewers will only see our gameplay."

Vier frowned slightly, "Did he threaten you? What does he look like?"

I hesitated for a moment before shaking my head, "He wants to keep his identity a secret for now so... I’m sorry."

"No, I apologise for asking something sensitive, Tera. It’s no big deal. I can set things up on my end, no problem. Just link me into the machine once you’re plugged in, Renata and I will handle the streaming."

I smile at her, "Thanks Vier. I’m counting on you."

"No, thank you, Tera, for giving us this opportunity."

I chuckled at her answer before ending the call, turning back to see Patricia hopping out of her own chair to head over to me.

"All ready! Are you ready, Tera? I’m ready!" She giggled, hopping on the balls of her feet excitedly.

"I am. Do we just hop inside the capsules?"

The rabbitgirl nodded excitedly, practically grabbing my hand to pull me towards one of the machines and activating it for me to let me step inside.

She even went out of her way to help me make sure the machine was properly set up before stepping out to give me a thumbs up, reminding me a little of Ries before she skipped over to the VR Capsule next to mine.

I leaned back in the chair and lowered my mental defenses, exposing my mind to the machine as I let myself get linked into cyberspace.

As soon as I was connected, I worked on establishing a connection between the capsule machine and Vier’s personal terminal, allowing her to hook up to whatever I see so that we could stream it to our channel.

With that settled, I allowed the machine to connect to the rest of the GalaNet and found myself standing in front of SonicSlayer’s avatar.

I blinked at her, since this time she had chosen a female avatar instead of the male avatar which she would usually use.

As though reading my mind, she poked her fingers together, "Umm.. If... If I made a guy avatar... Some fans might start saying that we were dating or something... So... If I made a female avatar instead... They would not be as fast to say that..."

Hmm... I guess that makes sense. The viewers already know that I have a... Well... Feminine body... And they all believe that SonicSlayer is also a guy. So if we act too closely with our avatars, they might start shipping us as a hetero couple... Even though the fact that it would be a futa x female instead.

Ahem... Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

But still, for her to consider that far for me... She’s a pretty good girl eh? Ignoring the fact that she was actually a complete pervert.

"So how should we do this?" I asked.

She immediately schooled her expression and straightened herself, going into her streamer mode, "We’ll start the stream once we are inside the game. I don’t really have any actual objectives here since this is just a surprise collab and... I’m honestly just feeling things out to see if a long term partnership is possible so just do what you do normally."

"Well... Since you’re a veteran, I don’t mind following you, you know?"

Her avatar smiled at me, "I’ll do my best, Tera. But there’s no need to feel like you have to be my shadow. I’ve already acknowledged your skills as well and I’ve seen the way you fight in real life. I think you might even do better than me!"

Says the person who would have owned me if it wasn’t for that grenade she had at her waist but... I guess it’s better for me to just be myself anyway.
