What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

Chapter 879: Dog VS Bodyguards

Chapter 879: Dog VS Bodyguards

Kaito raised his hands, "Wait! Wait!! I have a proposal!!"

"Stop," I ordered.

The dog paused, though it still faced towards Kaito, ready to pounce on him if he even tried to do anything.

I nodded at him, indicating I was allowing him to talk and present his proposal.

He raised his hands, "I didn’t know you were a biotamer... Listen, you might not know this but... That Yuki bitch is using you! She always uses the people around her! She’s going to toss you aside once she’s done with you!!"

I pretended to be surprised, "Oh? Are you speaking from first hand experience?"

"As much as I hate to admit it, yes! Trust me! Now that she knows you are a Biotamer, she’ll make use of you and work you to the bone! She’ll blackmail you with the knowledge that she knows you killed me and have you be her slave for life!!"

"What makes you so sure?"

"You’re a Biotamer! Do you think she would let a Biotamer like you go? You’re considered a valuable resource!!"

"You think she can really keep me if I want to leave?"

"Of course! Why would she let a person like you go when she can make sure of you? Do you even know how useful you are?!"

I stared at him for a moment before gesturing at him, "Do you really think that I would believe you? You were the one who lied about Yuki trying to use the turtle to take over the station but it turned out that was a complete lie."

He hesitated, probably completely forgetting that he was indeed the one who tried to bullshit me into helping him get rid of Yuki by saying she wanted to release the turtle. And the reward he offered me was just some paltry sum too.

He really tried to convince me that she wanted to use it to destroy the station just to get the security contract.

That certainly made no sense if you were to just take a moment to think about it. We only considered it because we didn’t know what type of person they were and we were giving him the benefit of doubt.

As though realising that he was out of excuses, the guy quickly reached towards his hips, as though trying to pull out a weapon or something.

I didn’t even need to give my next set of instructions as the dog immediately lunged at the guy, her jaws opening wide and biting down on his arm.

I watched as Kaito’s arm got torn clean off, the dog’s powerful jaws quite literally snapping the arm off when she bit on him. A gun flew through the air and away from him, indicating he really was trying to reach for a weapon.

He let out a high pitched scream and started backing away from me, looking even more scared than before as the dog in front of me chewed on his arm.

I pretended to be surprised, "Oh my! Would you look at that? It seems like our dear friend here thought that he could try and beat Miss Yuki’s animal exhibition by getting this dog for himself! But clearly he underestimated the danger that goes along with getting an animal like this which is why it led to the unfortunate fate of him perishing in his office~"

Obviously, he knew what I was trying to imply and shouted out to his bodyguards, "Hey!! What are you waiting around for?!! Get them already!!"

The ones closest to us had the look of someone who just got told that they were being sent off to fight a war, which was pretty similar to the current situation, all things considered.

Still, they managed to get over their current fear of the dog and drew their weapons once again, this time with more of them opting for the ranged option instead of the melee option.

I was about to neutralise them in order to stop them from shooting their guns but the mastiff charged at them before I could.

I got to watch that giant dog that was half the size of a person zig zag her way towards the group of women who had their guns out in a flash, dodging side to side as they tried to shoot at the dog.

Each time a gunshot rang out, the mastiff would hop to a different location, completely avoiding the bullet that was shot at it to get closer and closer towards them.

There were even a few times where the Mastiff’s figure blurred to reappear on top of the ceiling where it ran upside down for a little bit before reappearing somewhere else to avoid the gunshots from another secretary guard.

Honestly, if I was on the other side looking at the dog, I would say that it looked like a scene straight out of a horror movie where the creature was getting closer and closer to you and shooting your gun did not slow it down at all.

I actually felt a little bad for those women but... Our plan here was to kill everyone here and leave no witnesses.

They already had the opportunity to run earlier but they stayed behind so... It’s unfortunate but I’m afraid your lives are forfeit.

I watched as the Mastiff appeared in the ceiling again before it suddenly kicked off its surface, flying straight towards one of the secretary guards that had shot at it while it was still on the ground.

A blur flew past the woman and the next thing we knew, a gash had opened up across her neck and blood poured out freely from the hole.

She choked and grabbed at her throat, trying to stem the blood flow but to no avail as she coughed out blood before toppling over onto the ground, her body twitching from time to time as she bled out.

The Mastiff did not even wait for her to die before she had already jumped at another guard, this time aiming for one of them that was holding a sword, the woman having abandoned her gun the moment the dog got close thinking it was a better option.

She swung her blade right as the Mastiff jumped towards her and I felt my heart sink a little in worry, only to watch as the dog bit on the sword to snap the blade off its handle, leaving the woman with a broken handle with no blade.

With the blade in her mouth, the Mastiff swung her head and stabbed the blade into the woman’s chest, the broken metal piercing through her torso to appear behind her back.

She grasped at the handle, letting out a choked scream before the dog kicked at her with her hind legs to send her stumbling into the path of her colleague’s gunshots, the bullets nailing her in the head and chest in quick succession.

Leaving her improvised shield to tumble down onto the ground, the Mastiff leapt at another pair of secretary guards that had opted to switch to melee instead.

They tried to attack the large dog with their swords at the same time, which should have been easy to do seeing how big of a target she was.

But the dog jumped up and spun itself through the air, flying through the space between their swords to avoid the attack and get past their guard like she was some kind of action heroine.

The Mastiff then bit one of them in the throat to tear out her neck before turning back to slash her claw at the other woman, cutting open her chest to leave a hole there.

At this point, I guess it was too much for some of the guards to bear as they dropped their weapons and fled, abandoning the guy they were supposed to protect completely.

Like I said... We’re not allowing anyone to leave here since they have already seen my face, all of them have to die here so...

The Mastiff dashed towards the fleeing women and caught up to them in an instant, only to pounce on them to throw them to the ground where she would then rip their necks out from behind by tearing into them with her jaws.

Those who still tried to fight charged at the dog with their swords, yelling out a battle cry to steel their nerves as they attempted to subdue the creature that was effortlessly slaughtering them.

The dog turned to them like how a horror creature would when it spots its prey, her eyes shining with malice as she watched her prey charge at her.

The dog’s figure blurred and she zigzagged through the crowd, slashing all of their throats open and leaving a pile of corpses in her wake.

In just a short minute or two, Kaito’s entire bodyguard squad had been wiped out, leaving only a half crying and shaking Kaito behind who was still hiding in the corner of his hidey hole.

The Mastiff ran back to me, her tail wagging happily before stopping to look at the guy in the corner.

She then looked back up at me as though waiting for my instructions so I went ahead to give her a nod.

Kaito screamed and tried to run but the Mastiff jumped at him to push him down from behind before she ripped out his spine from the back of his neck.

Damn, that’s brutal...
