Chapter 802: Chapter 18: Farewell, Berserker

Under the overwhelming and scorching impact of the formidable spiritual power, which far exceeds the Secret Skill Level, Lynch’s locally paused domain, constructed with the Time Rule, shattered like glass struck by a hammer, instantly covered with web-like cracks! Immediately after, the structure that maintained the stagnation of time and space collapsed with a loud bang, and the gray world receded like a tide, with colors and dynamism returning.

The Libra Knights within the dungeon felt their consciousness blur for a moment and were horrified to discover that the door of the cell, which should have been tightly closed, was somehow opened, with a stranger in a gray robe standing at the entrance. Behind him, the witch who was supposed to be shackled and near death, had stood up with her injuries vanished!

"Who are you?!"

"Intruder!"

"Seize him!"

The narrow dungeon corridors instantly filled with shock and angry shouts as the knights drew their weapons, surrounding Lynch with murderous intent, while Elemental Power and Divine Arts began to gather in their hands.

Lynch frowned, not because of the knights before him, but due to the force that had forcibly broken his Time Domain—the arrogant, domineering, and faintly familiar Spiritual Field was like an invisible mountain, weighing heavily on the entire church.

Meanwhile, outside the church, above River Town.

A figure as imposing as a mountain stood in midair, surrounded by a visible, thunderous force field, pushing away the surrounding clouds.

His short, dark red hair stood erect like steel needles, and explosive strength seemed to lie beneath his bronze skin. It was none other than Berserker Leo, one of the former Seven Great Judges of the Shadow Tower!

Compared to nearly two centuries ago at Punishment Square, his aura was now ten times stronger! It was not merely the energy fluctuation of the Secret Skill Level, but a higher level—true Domain Power.

Arrogant Domain!

Within this domain, everything seemed to bow and tremble before his domineering strength.

In the years Lynch had been gone, the world’s wheels had not ceased to turn. Former adversaries also strived forward amidst the tide of times and opportunities.

Relying on his extraordinary talent and accumulation, Leo successfully broke through the shackles of secrets and ascended to the endlessly desired domain stage by countless wizards. After allying with the Freemasonry Church, he seemed to have found a unique magic technique to refine and amplify his domain using the Power of Faith, strengthening it rapidly and solidifying at the astonishing Middle Domain Level today!

His eyes, as scorching as lava, penetrated the thick stone walls of the church, locking firmly onto Lynch deep within the dungeon. His suppressed and oppressive voice, like rolling thunder, resonated throughout River Town:

"Little rat, have you had enough of your hiding tricks? Come out!"

The will contained in his voice was identical to the "Answer me honestly" at Punishment Square back then, yet the power and authority within were unmatchable now.

Shortly after Leo’s thunderous shout echoed across River Town—

"Boom!!!"

A deafening explosion erupted violently! The solid dome of the Freemasonry Church was torn apart fiercely from within by an invisible giant hand, with stones and beams flying apart, dust swirling upward!

Amidst the falling debris and dust, a figure calmly floated up from the large hole, hanging suspended in the air on equal footing with Leo. The night wind flapped his emerald green Wizard Robe, making it rustle.

As Leo’s lava-like eyes clearly reflected the appearance of the newcomer, the cat-and-mouse playfully confident expression on his face instantly solidified, transforming into an undisguisable, ultimate shock and bewilderment! He even subconsciously leaned forward slightly, as if to confirm whether he was mistaken.

"It’s... you?! Lynch Valen?!" Leo’s voice was filled with disbelief, blurting out the name that was supposed to have disappeared in the river of time from memory.

In stark contrast to Leo’s shock, Lynch hovered calmly in the air, gazing back indifferently at this former Judge of the Shadow Tower.

In his eyes, the tension, apprehension, and crisis akin to being on the abyss’s edge from nearly two hundred years ago at Punishment Square were long gone, replaced by a bottomless tranquility and... a hint of undisguised disdain, like regarding an outdated object from a superior position.

He subtly curled his lips, responding in a calm tone as if speaking to an old friend:

"Long time no see, Leo."

Pausing for a moment, his gaze intentionally swept over Leo’s Priest’s Robe embroidered with the Freemasonry Church emblem, and his tone became more teasing:

"I just wonder, should I follow the old custom of addressing you as ’Lord Judge’ now, or adapt to the current situation and respectfully call you ’Lord Priest’?"

Leo did not immediately retaliate verbally against the sarcasm but instead burst out in a loud, angry laugh, as if hearing something exceedingly amusing:

"Haha... hahaha! Good! Very good!"

His laughter abruptly stopped, and his gaze became as sharp as a knife, steadfastly locked on Lynch, filled with repressed excitement and ferocity:

"I never thought... never expected! Little rat, all these years, I’ve never given up searching for your whereabouts! Originally, I thought you had long perished in some unknown dark corner, with your body decomposing to bones..."

He licked his lips, eyes gleaming with the light of a hunter discovering a precious prey: "Yet, I didn’t expect you not only to be alive but also dare... so audaciously to present yourself here!"

Lynch, who had rapidly ascended to the Secret Skill Level within decades as an apprentice in Gray Tower, convinced Leo there was surely a remarkable secret hidden on him. He had been searching for Lynch’s whereabouts ever since Punishment Square.

However, the Wizard World was vast, and Lynch seemed to disappear completely after leaving—none of this produced a single clue despite so many years.

He had almost given up, but unexpectedly, Lynch emerged once again after all these years.

Leo’s "Arrogant Domain" surged powerfully, like tangible thunder, compressing the surrounding air until it buzzed with strain. He stared intently at Lynch, his tone chilly and commanding, brazenly threatening, every word packed with thunder-like force:

"Kid! Don’t think that your meager progress lets you act in front of me! Tell me! What secret lies within you? What’s the root of your unreasonable power? Explain them all! Or else..."

His domain power tightened suddenly, the oppressive feeling intensifying, the sound like ice colliding:

"I won’t mind dismantling you like before, piece by piece for study! This time, you won’t have the chance to escape!"

Facing a threat and overwhelming pressure capable of shattering a lesser Domain Wizard’s spirit, Lynch merely shrugged casually, showing no ripples on his face. He even leisurely adjusted the sleeve of his robe being buffeted by the night wind, then replied in a near-chatty tone, with a few lazy licks:

"My secret is right here."

He pointed at his head, then tapped his chest lightly.

"As for the answer you seek..."

He slightly raised his chin, and for the first time, those gray eyes clearly portrayed Leo’s figure, containing not apprehension but a serene pity.

"If you truly have the ability..."

Lynch’s lips curled in a faint arc.

"Feel free to come and try."
