Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 839 - 375: Ice World

Chapter 839: Chapter 375: Ice World

David stepped into the passage, and a piercing chill swept over him like a tidal wave, threatening to freeze him entirely.

Darkness surrounded him, with only the faint blue light flickering at the end of the passage, like the cold eye of the Ice World, staring at him intently.

"This is the breath of the Ice World..."

David murmured softly.

Then, he activated the Ice Element Mark within him, directly commanding the Power of Ice.

The passage wasn’t long, and David quickly reached its end.

As he stepped out of the passage, the sight before him took his breath away.

He stood on a boundless ice field, with the sky a deep blue as if covered with endless frost.

The surroundings were deathly silent, with only the howling of the cold wind bringing a biting chill.

In the distance, a massive Frost Palace was faintly visible, its spire piercing the clouds and emanating a cold radiance.

"Here... is the Ice World." David spoke softly, a trace of awe in his eyes.

He surveyed his surroundings, realizing that the Power of Ice here was several times stronger than in the Far North of the Bright Continent.

The air was thick with cold energy, making even breathing difficult.

"I must quickly find the source of the Ice Power." David said softly, his gaze resolute.

He started walking towards the distant Frost Palace.

However, after just a few steps, the ground suddenly began to tremble, and huge cracks appeared in the ice field.

A large number of frost creatures emerged from the cracks, their bodies entirely composed of frost, eyes gleaming with cold blue light.

These creatures let out low growls, then charged towards David.

"Looks like I’ve been discovered." David spoke softly, and the Power of Ice burst forth instantaneously.

With a wave of his hands, countless Ice Cones appeared, engulfing the approaching frost creatures in an instant.

However, the number of these creatures seemed endless, pouring continuously from the cracks.

"Can’t waste time here."

David’s gaze sharpened, and his inner power burst forth again.

He clasped his hands together, directly commanding the Power of Ice, transforming it into a giant Ice Giant Sword.

David grasped the hilt, swung sharply, and the Ice Giant Sword swept across, clearing the frost creatures ahead.

After the battle, David took a deep breath, sensing the flow of the Ice Power within him.

David continued to advance across the ice field, the ice layer beneath his feet making slight cracking sounds, the cold wind cutting his cheeks like a knife.

In the distance, the outline of the Frost Palace loomed faintly in the blue light, like a gigantic ice sculpture, exuding a chilling aura.

However, just as he was about to approach the palace, the sounds of an intense battle came from ahead.

David stopped and listened attentively.

It was the sound of metal and Ice Crystals clashing, mixed with low growls and sharp screeches.

He quickly rushed toward the direction of the sound, his steps light and swift, as if he was one with the ice field.

Passing through an area lined with ice pillars, David witnessed a surprising scene.

A group of warriors clad in ice-blue armor were engaged in fierce combat with a horde of Snow Demons.

The armor of those warriors was etched with ancient runes, their icy weapons wielded with precision and grace.

Their opponents—the Snow Demons—stood tall, their bodies covered with dense frost, eyes gleaming with scarlet light, each attack carrying destructive power.

The Ice Race warriors were clearly at a disadvantage.

The number of Snow Demons far exceeded theirs, and the monster’s power seemed to be inexhaustible.

An Ice Race warrior was struck by a Snow Demon’s massive Claw Strike, shattering his armor, sending him flying several meters, crashing heavily onto the ice.

Another warrior tried to provide support but was besieged by two Snow Demons, in great peril.

David hesitated no longer, swiftly activating the Ice Element Mark within him, channeling the Power of Ice into a mighty Ice Blade.

Leaping up, the Ice Blade sliced through the air, cleaving toward a Snow Demon attacking the Ice Race warrior.

The Ice Blade severed the Snow Demon’s arm with precision, and the monster let out a piercing screech, before disintegrating into frost dust.

The Ice Race warriors were startled by the sudden aid, but quickly reorganized their defense.

David didn’t pause, his figure weaving through the battlefield, each swing of his Ice Blade taking another Snow Demon’s life.

His movements were fluid and exact, seemingly one with the Power of Ice.

"Who are you?"

An Ice Race warrior shouted, his voice filled with caution and gratitude.

"I am David, a traveler."

David replied while fending off an attacking Snow Demon with his sword, "Now is not the time for talk, let’s first eliminate these monsters!"

The Ice Race warrior nodded and refrained from further questioning.

Together, they fought alongside David, the Power of Ice intertwined on the battlefield, forming an unbreakable defense line.

The number of Snow Demons gradually dwindled, until the last of them disintegrated into frost dust under David’s Ice Blade, and the battle finally ended.

The battlefield returned to brief tranquility, with only the sound of the howling wind echoing.

The Ice Race warriors sheathed their weapons, looking at David with complex expressions.

The Ice Race warriors stood in place, their gazes fixed intently on David.

Their eyes were filled with shock and reverence, as if witnessing something extraordinary.

The air carried a subtle oppressive force, as if even the wind had come to a halt at that moment.
