Han Ke was the most astonished of all. As an ordinary person, compared to the others, there was simply far too much he had never seen before.

“This place is called the Azure Sea Mirage Realm. It’s absolutely stunning. The scenery all around it shifts and changes at every moment. I believe the scenes and Monsters within it never repeat themselves.”

Qin Qiu covered her mouth and laughed softly. “They’re so harmless, yet you’re still calling them Monsters? Those little ones inside the Azure Sea Mirage Realm don’t seem to have any abilities beyond looking cute to the point I can’t bear to kill them. They don’t even have a single Attack Skill. I’d even go so far as to say that a small child could cut them down without trouble.”

Tao Xiaoman nodded vigorously, thoroughly in agreement. “Exactly. This Secret Realm has absolutely nothing to do with danger or combat. I thought that Secret Realms of a Supreme Tier Ancient Noble Family would all be of High Levels, High Grades, and plenty of danger but with generous Drop Rates and generous Experience Point Rewards. I never imagined they’d also have a Secret Realm like this. This is something closer to a tourist attraction than anything.”

Ye Wuxian’s expression was warm as she walked ahead, leading the way. “Well, Dungeon Instances and Secret Realms of a Supreme Tier Ancient Noble Family naturally can’t exist solely for the purpose of combat, Levelling, and farming for equipment. They collect entertaining ones as well.”

“Even our Ye Family is the same in that regard. We have one or two similar Dungeon Instances that carry no danger whatsoever. They are purely for leisure and sightseeing. After all, living out here in the Western Border all the time, our network connectivity and all that isn’t that stable. There’s always a need for somewhere to have a bit of fun, right? These places are what members of Ancient Noble Families use to relax and unwind when there’s nothing pressing going on. Also, the deeper a Family’s foundation, the richer they are to spend on these kinds of things.”

Han Ke nodded. “I sort of get it. It’s like those wealthy people who, once they’ve become rich enough, start spending their money on food, drink, and entertainment rather than focusing solely on accumulating more wealth. After all, once you have money, you’re meant to enjoy it, right?”

“Exactly!” Ye Wuxian smiled cheerfully and nodded, then turned to look at Qin Qiu and Tao Xiaoman. “You two seem to come from fairly wealthy backgrounds, if I’m not mistaken? Your Parents surely didn’t spend every coin solely on improving your strength and Levelling you up, right? They must have bought you things to help you relax now and then, no?”

Qin Qiu and Tao Xiaoman both nodded, though the former’s face went slightly red. “Well, our Families, compared to what people call Ancient Noble Families, don’t even exist in the same dimension. What we bought is nothing more than some home appliances at most, and perhaps a holiday cottage in some scenic area. That would probably be the priciest thing for us. We are nothing like Ancient Noble Families, which can monopolise entire Secret Realms and wander in and out of them whenever they please.”

“Ha ha ha, isn’t it all the same!?” Ye Wuxian laughed. “This base has no shortage of good things. The Azure Sea Mirage Realm we just visited is only one of them. Once things are settled, I’ll have the Ye Family members catalogue everything here, and then we can see what other entertaining things there are hidden. For a base of this size, with so many Levelling resources, there must be even more recreational resources to match. And with Lu Fan being occupied at the Situ Family, why don’t we Sisters take this time to properly rest and unwind here?”

The others had no objections whatsoever. They were genuinely curious about the full depths of what a Supreme Tier Ancient Noble Family had to offer.

However, the group had hardly left from the Transport Array Hall when a Ye Family servant came hurrying over, saying there was a matter to report to Ye Wuxian.

Ye Wuxian told him to simply speak, and the servant glanced at Jian Ying and the others several times. Clearly, he was hesitating over whether he should say what he wished to report in the presence of outsiders.

Ye Wuxian was quite magnanimous about it though. She waved a hand. “Sister Han and the others are not outsiders. There is nothing about our Ye Family that they cannot hear. Just speak freely.”

“Very well then.” The servant nodded and said in a measured tone. “While we were sorting through the Tie Family’s belongings, we discovered a Transport Array concealed at the very deepest part of the storage vault. The Transport Array can send a person into a completely sealed chamber, and within that chamber, we discovered something that is rather difficult to put into words.”

“Something difficult to put into words?” Ye Wuxian’s brow furrowed immediately. “What do you mean by that?”

The servant organised his thoughts for a moment before describing it in careful detail: “It is an enormous stone statue. The statue has a strange appearance. It resembles neither a Human being nor a Monster, and we were unable to determine whether it might be the figure of some Divine Being or something else. But what we can say with certainty is that the Tie Family must have been making offerings to it for a very long time, even in the distant past.”

“However, upon inspection, it seems as though no one has entered that chamber for a very long time. What exactly happened to cause the Tie Family to cease their offerings, we don’t know. We can’t draw any conclusions. In short, the things inside the chamber are very strange.”

“Is that so?” Ye Wuxian was genuinely intrigued. She had originally planned to continue wandering the base with Han Ke and the others to see whether there was anything else of interest.

Now that this matter had been reported to her, it deeply captured her interest.

She considered it for a moment, then looked at Han Ke and the others. “Sister Han, Xiao Qiu, Xiao Ying, Tao Zi, why don’t you all come along with me to take a look at the situation? It seems like the Tie Family has a few more secrets yet to be uncovered.”

No one had any objections to that.

And so, led by the Ye Family servant, all five of them made their way to the storage vault where the chamber had been discovered.

By the time the five of them arrived, several dozen Ye Family members had already gathered there to stand guard.

The Transport Array, after all, had been concealed in a position of extreme secrecy. It was clearly far from ordinary, even at a glance.

Without Ye Wuxian’s direct orders, they were naturally obligated to ensure that nothing went wrong here.

Once Ye Wuxian arrived, she waved the others aside, then led Han Ke and the group onto the Transport Array and into what had been described as the ‘secret chamber’.

With a sensation of being pulled and stretched, they found themselves transported into a sealed room.

The six faces of this chamber were built from black rock, piled layer upon layer. Aside from the Transport Array through which they had arrived, there was no other exit to be found anywhere.

Around the chamber, several hundred torches were alight, burning for an untold span of time already, yet without the faintest sign of going out.
