Chapter 445, Ji Ji Enters the Growth Phase

Moving further ahead, the number of Phosphorous Fire Moths gradually decreased, likely because there were more powerful Monsters ahead, making it impossible for the Phosphorous Fire Moths to survive here.

Through the Luminous Mushroom, Lu Fan looked at the Old Patriarch’s transcript and learned that going forward, he would encounter a Monster called Green Armoured Poison Scorpion.

This Monster’s Attributes were significantly higher than the Phosphorous Fire Moths, and its full-body armour was incredibly hard, able to withstand strong Physical and Magic Attacks.

Its Poison Effect, which Lu Fan found very tempting, was Paralyse, which would be a powerful Crown Control Effect under Ji Ji’s Poisonous Mist.

Back then, the Old Patriarch of the Ye Family and the two Fourth Profession Players with him almost suffered a great loss here because of the Green Armoured Poison Scorpions’ hard shells. Apparently, they were extremely troublesome to deal with, making most of their attacks ineffective.

At the same time, although the poison with the Paralyse Effect was not fatal, once affected by this poison, one’s body would become stiff, greatly reducing mobility, making them easy targets.

According to Old Patriarch, one of the accompanying Fourth Profession Players was poisoned by a Green Armoured Poison Scorpion and was almost dragged into the depths of Dragon Fall Valley to be devoured!

Lu Fan advanced forward with his Pet Dragons, and not far ahead, he indeed saw car-sized dark green scorpions on the rocky outcrops ahead.

These Green Armoured Poison Scorpion had thick tails with poison needles at the tips that gleamed with a bewitching lustre, looking extremely dangerous.

Lu Fan was not the slightest bit afraid and directly ordered his Pet Dragons to attack.

So what if these Green Armoured Poison Scorpions had High Defence?

Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons each had astonishing High Damage Output that completely exceeded what the Green Armoured Poison Scorpions could possibly withstand.

Especially Ye Sha, whose Shadow Dragon Blade was the nemesis of Monsters with High Defence.

After going invisible, Ye Sha’s every attack could directly cut one or several Green Armoured Poison Scorpions in half, instantly killing them.

The number of Green Armoured Poison Scorpions in front of Lu Fan was not particularly large, and basically Ye Sha alone silently eliminated most of them.

Other Pet Dragons cleaned up the remaining Green Armoured Poison Scorpions, and as far as Lu Fan could see, there were no other Green Armoured Poison Scorpions left.

Next came the process of Ji Ji collecting poison.

Soon, Ji Ji had collected all the poison from the Green Armoured Poison Scorpions, and the Poison Effect of Origin of All Poisons now included Paralyse.

After collecting all the poison, Ji Ji was enveloped in a golden light, clearly reaching Level 15.

Lu Fan was stunned, not understanding why Ji Ji suddenly Levelled Up so long after all the Monsters had been killed.

But then he thought about it and understood.

[Most likely, absorbing poison helps her gain Experience Points.]

For Ji Ji to collect more Poison Effects, she needed to absorb the poison from at least one Monster to add its Poison Effect into her Origin of All Poisons. Absorbing more of the same type of poison from other Monsters would not change the Effects of Origin of All Poisons, or the toxicity of her poison.

Nevertheless, each time, Ji Ji would absorb all the poison from all Monster carcasses around her. There had to be some benefit in doing so. Thus, Lu Fan hypothesized that absorbing poison allows Ji Ji to gain Experience Points, Levelling Up faster.

This meant that Ji Ji could gain Experience Points even if she does not kill any Monsters. In fact, feeding her potent Poison Potions, or absorbing poison from Monsters, should also allow her Level Up.

Just as Lu Fan was pondering over this, Ji Ji’s body began to show unusual changes.

Ji Ji curled up her body, and the outline of her body gradually disappeared, replaced by a ball of poison suspended in mid-air.

This ball of poison should be Ji Ji’s true form, so its colour was identical to Ji Ji’s body.

Right now, the colour of this poison ball was quietly changing, transforming from dark green to dark red.

At the same time, the volume of the poison also expanded by about two times.

Clearly, Ji Ji was undergoing a transformation. She was entering her Growth Phase.

Although he was prepared for this, Lu Fan was still a bit taken aback to see Ji Ji enter her Growth Phase. He just watched as Ji Ji completed her transformation and entered her Maturing Phase.

Soon, the ball of poison solidified completely, with its colour and size remaining unchanged.

Simultaneously, the poison stretched out and reformed into the shape of a Baby Dragon.

However, it was evident that Ji Ji’s appearance had changed compared to before, becoming more angular, clearly having grown quite a bit.

“Jijiji!” Having reformed her body, Ji Ji was jubilant about becoming stronger. She immediately flew around Lu Fan to express her excitement.

Lu Fan also chuckled, caught Ji Ji, and gave her a good pet.

Hmm, although her appearance had changed, the softness, the feeling was still the same as before. It was smooth and jelly-like, very different from petting his other ‘Children’.

Following this, Lu Fan opened Ji Ji’s Attribute Panel to see what changes she had undergone after entering her Growth Phase.

Silavin: Not sure why the author cut off the rest from the chapter and placed it to 446. Annoying. I’m going to write out the rest of the stats here, and leave the new Form in the next chapter. (Cut off is at the newest Form).

The Hell Guardian Skill was also missing. So, I added it in.
