Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 381: Skin Ball

Chapter 381: Chapter 381: Skin Ball

Ivy observed the effect quietly, and despite her composed exterior, a faint sense of caution crept into her heart.

The object worked far too well. She remembered clearly how she had obtained the skin ball just a few hours earlier, right after receiving news that someone inside the base had awakened a rare ability: the power to materialize iron out of thin air.

That news had immediately captured her attention.

Without hesitation, she had ordered someone to bring Liam to her residence.

When she saw him standing nervously before her, she proposed a deal.

Once the agreement was made and sealed, Ivy finally allowed herself a small breath of relief.

Now, the base possessed enough iron to construct machines, reinforce defenses, and even erect an iron perimeter wall.

She had even considered asking the Temporal Storage whether it could utilize the iron to form a protective boundary around the entire base.

However, she delayed that plan.

Before anything else, she wanted revenge.

Dr. Thompson and his son needed to pay.

Yet revenge required precision. Ivy wanted Dr. Thompson to experience something deeper than fear... she wanted him to feel helplessness, humiliation, and pain that seeped into the soul.

While she was contemplating how to achieve that, she unexpectedly encountered someone familiar.

Sasha.

She was the woman Ivy had once saved.

Back then, when Sasha had been harmed by her brother-in-law, it was Ivy who had intervened without hesitation.

Later, Sasha had entered the military base, but after only a few days, she realized she could not adapt to the rigid structure.

She was also worried that someone from her past would find her.

That was when she learned about the SiIvy Base and chose to move there instead.

Another reason was she got to know that Ivy was there too.

Her admission went smoothly. Her background was clean, and she worked diligently like everyone else.

Though the early days were difficult, she eventually earned permanent residency because by then there were no difficult rules like now.

No one opposed it.

Once settled, Sasha began participating in zombie hunts. Then one day, her ability awakened.

She could create skin balls.

At first, she was horrified. The strange objects emerged from her body, leaving her shaken and disgusted.

Terrified that something was wrong, she sought help. When Martha learned about it, she immediately summoned researchers.

After investigation, the ability was confirmed and explained.

Once Sasha understood what the ability truly was, the first person she thought of was Ivy.

After joining the base, Sasha had learned that Ivy was its representative.

She was thrilled beyond words. To her, Ivy was not just a powerful figure but also her savior.

So she decided to gift the skin balls to Ivy.

When Sasha handed them over, Ivy accepted politely, not fully understanding their value.

It was only after Sasha explained the ability in detail that Ivy realized just how extraordinary the gift was.

A skin ball, once activated, could alter a person’s appearance completely.

The only requirement was intent; the thrower needed to clearly envision what the target should become. Once attached, the transformation was absolute.

The moment Ivy understood this, her heart surged with excitement.

She immediately thought of a use. Dr. Thompson. Sometimes until and unless some people personally experience it, they don’t realize the pain at all.

Earlier she didn’t know how she could execute it but with the skin ball in picture, everything became relatively easy.

She wanted to repay Sasha, but Sasha refused firmly.

"When you saved me," Sasha said with admiration, "I never thought I would have a chance to repay you. If this excites you, then I’m happy."

She even offered to help Ivy produce more skin balls.

Ivy refused.

"I won’t take advantage of you," Ivy replied calmly. "I’ll gift you another apartment instead."

With an additional property, Sasha could live freely off rental income alone.

Sasha’s eyes sparkled with temptation, but she shook her head stubbornly.

"This is repayment," she insisted. "If you give me more, I’ll protest."

Then she ran off before Ivy could argue further.

Ivy felt helpless but warm.

Later, holding the skin ball in her hand, Ivy smiled faintly. She already knew exactly who it would be used on.

Dr. Thompson. He had fantasies. So she would fulfill them.

Only this time, he would not be the one in control.

After ensuring the transformation was complete and irreversible, Ivy observed the figure restrained before her.

She even personally checked that Dr. Thompson’s private area, which resembles that of a woman, was aligned to his asshole.

Dr. Thompson struggled weakly, his muffled sounds filled with panic.

Ivy leaned closer and laughed softly.

"I’m simply fulfilling your desires," she said calmly.

Then she turned and left.

Moments later, she returned, with Dr. Thompson’s son.

When the young man entered the basement, his breath caught. Before him stood a striking figure, restrained and silent. For reasons he could not explain, his pulse quickened.

"Is this real?" he asked Ivy, his voice tense.

Ivy nodded calmly.

"Your father selected her personally," she replied evenly. "He believed she was ideal for research. You’re allowed to proceed as instructed."

She paused, then added casually,

"Just one thing. She has a tendency to lie."

Dr. Thompson thrashed violently, eyes wide with terror.

"Earlier, she claimed she was your father’s child, aka you," Ivy continued lightly. "He panicked, searched for you, and made a mistake. That mistake cost him dearly."

The son frowned.

"Eh? But why would he even believe her?"

"Because she said that the ’real woman’ used some kind of skin ball to transform you into what she is," Ivy explained.

Disgust flashed in Dr. Thompson’s son’s eyes.

"I won’t believe a single word she says," the son declared.

Ivy smiled faintly.

"Good. Then I’ll leave her in your care."

With that, she turned and walked away, her footsteps echoing softly.

A cold smile curved her lips.

’In this life,’ she thought, ’I will reclaim everything.’

And she never looked back.
