Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 644: Siya, Ariana And Paris

Chapter 644: Chapter 644: Siya, Ariana And Paris

Understanding the unspoken implication, Ferrero chose to remain silent, swallowing his irritation.

Jeff then turned toward the three who were still kneeling. "You," he said, pointing at Siya, "come with me."

Siya lowered her head slightly. "Understood."

"You," he continued, glancing at Paris and the other, "will go with Ferrero."

Paris nodded calmly. "As you wish."

Jeff then looked at Ariana. "You’ll stay here and guard this place."

Ariana glanced around at the rundown shack they occupied.

Despite its appearance, hidden within were supplies and resources suitable for superior beings.

"I understand," she replied quietly.

Without wasting another moment, Ferrero and Jeff stepped out, their movements swift and purposeful.

After traveling for some time, they finally spotted a group of humans inside a moving van.

"There," Jeff muttered, his eyes locking onto the vehicle.

In an instant, they moved, their figures blurring as they intercepted the jeep.

The vehicle screeched to a halt, dust rising into the air.

The people inside, startled, assumed they had encountered survivors.

Ivana, who sat near the front, leaned forward slightly. The moment her gaze fell upon Ferrero, more specifically, the face he wore, her pupils shrank.

’Roma...?’

Her heart skipped a beat, but she quickly suppressed her reaction, forcing a polite expression onto her face as she stepped out.

"Yes?" she asked calmly, though her senses remained on high alert. "How can I help you?"

Ferrero and Jeff exchanged a brief glance.

The next second, they attacked.

Two beams of energy shot forward, fast and precise, aimed directly at Ivana.

’Too predictable,’ Ivana thought,.

In one swift motion, she pulled out a small, transparent sphere and crushed it in her hand.

A burst of energy erupted around her.

A shimmering aura enveloped her body, and the incoming attacks dissipated the moment they touched it, vanishing as if swallowed by an invisible force.

Ferrero and Jeff froze, shock flashing across their faces.

"Impossible..." Jeff muttered under his breath.

They had not expected this.

They had assumed she was just another ordinary human.

But now...

’She’s from Ivy’s base,’ the realization struck them simultaneously.

Fear flickered in their eyes.

Without hesitation, they turned and fled.

Their speed was overwhelming.

Ivana took a step forward, instinct urging her to chase them, but she stopped herself. Her grip tightened slightly as she glanced at her empty hand.

’That was my only protection sphere...’

Letting out a slow breath, she turned back and got into the jeep, her heartbeat still racing. She placed a hand over her chest, steadying herself before ordering the group to return.

Upon arriving at the base, she reported everything immediately.

Not long after, Ivy received the message.

"There’s someone here with information about Roma," the guard informed her.

Ivy’s expression sharpened instantly. Without delay, she made her way over.

The moment she saw Ivana, she spoke, her tone direct. "Tell me everything."

Ivana nodded and recounted the entire encounter in detail.

"They had most likely wanted to retaliate agianst people from the SiIvy base."

As she finished, Ivy’s fingers tightened around the edge of the table, her knuckles turning pale.

’Roma... finally found... and yet... she slipped away again...’

After Ivana left, Ivy remained silent for a moment, her gaze distant.

"Do you think that was their real objective?" she asked.

Silas shook his head.

"It doesn’t seem likely," he continued. "If they knew the people they encountered belonged to us, they wouldn’t have attacked so carelessly. That would only expose their location."

Ivy nodded slowly. "That makes sense."

After a brief pause, she asked, "Do you think we can catch them? They’re incredibly fast."

Silas let out a faint chuckle, confidence flickering in his eyes. "You don’t need to worry about that," he replied. "Leave it to me. I’ll handle it."

Then, as if remembering something, he added, "By the way... Bella wanted to meet you."

Ivy raised a brow slightly before nodding. "Arrange it."

Soon after, the meeting was set.

When Ivy finally sat alone with Bella, she couldn’t help but notice the change in her.

Bella seemed brighter.

’I’m glad... she found her way,’ Ivy thought.

She smiled faintly. "How have you been?" she asked gently.

Bella returned the smile, warmth evident in her expression. "I’ve been doing well," she replied. "Thanks to you."

Ivy waved her hand dismissively. "That’s nothing."

Then her gaze sharpened slightly. "You asked to meet me," she said. "What is it?"

Bella hesitated.

Her fingers intertwined nervously as her expression turned uncertain, almost conflicted.

"What I’m about to say..." she began slowly, her voice lowering, "might sound absurd."

She took a deep breath.

"But I can’t ignore it anymore."

Ivy’s eyes narrowed slightly. "What is it?"

Bella looked straight at her, her voice steady despite the unease in her eyes.

"I think..." she said quietly, "I can command humans."

"This power... it probably works only on those humans who had been a zombie... and then reverted back into humans," Bella said slowly. "Because of that... they remain controllable."

Ivy frowned slightly, her fingers tapping lightly against the armrest as she processed the information.

"That’s... strange..." she thought, her gaze sharpening. Then she looked directly at Bella. "So you’re saying... as long as someone has been infected with the zombie virus, you can control them?"

Bella nodded without hesitation.

However, Ivy’s expression shifted almost immediately. She shook her head slowly, a deeper realization forming in her mind.

"No... not just the zombie virus," she corrected, her tone growing more serious. "I have a feeling... you might even be able to control superior beings."

Bella froze for a moment, her eyes widening slightly as she stared at Ivy.

By now, Ivy had already told her everything about the superior beings, their existence, and the threats they posed. When Bella had first heard rumors about such entities, her only thought had been simple and terrifying.

’Humanity is doomed...’

But now, sitting in front of Ivy, seeing how far things had come and how much Ivy had accomplished, that fear had begun to shift into something else... hope.

’Ivy will figure something out... she always does...’
